we have a scenario where employees record time to a general project code. The hours relate to more general tasks that cannot be easily identified to specific customer projects.
But each month, we would like to allocate this general time across the multiple customer projects based on a % calculated.
This is currently handled very manually - exporting general hours, deciding which projects are in scope for allocation, calculating the factor and then importing hours (cr. general code; db. multiple customer projects).
Does anyone have a similar scenario and how do you handle this?
Is there any standard IFS functionality that could cover this kind of allocation?
Or has anyone got a custom development to automate such a process?
We are currently in IFS10
