I have a question. Is it possible to configure the repository of the "File storage" type in such a way that the files of attachments of different classes of documents are stored in different directories and not in one collective "Docman"?

Hello Community,I am trying to transfer the attached document from Register Arrival Page to Manual Supplier Page.As a result i have created the following Object Connection Transformation . But it's not working. Can anyone guide me the correct configuration for this.  

We are trying to set up an object connection transformation from the Multi-Company Customer Invoices Analysis screen to the Customer Invoice screen.We have configured the following using the standard transformation method.  However, this doesn’t seem to work.Does anybody have any ideas on how to make this work?Thanks,Monique

Hi All!When printing Work Instruction for ShopOrder, we use the function “Print Attached Documents”.IFS finds the attached documents well, e.g. a document which is attached to workinstruction guidelines of a operation. In our current situation it's kind of a suprise for the one who print's whether there are connected documents. Therefore we would like to have insight in all the attached documents from the ShopOrder itself(in Screen ShopOrder).I guessed that “Object Connection Transformations” would be the solution, but i could not manage to set it so that we saw the attachements in screen ShopOrder.Does anyone managed to do this? Or does anyone have other ideas on how to configure this?Thanks! 

Since I could not find this answer in text form, and easily visualized, here is the list of supported file extensions for the view, or "preview" command (the command with an eye icon) in IFS Cloud Web:PNG, JPEG, JPG, BMP, GIF, TIF, TIFF, MP3, WMA, MP4, WMV, WEBM, OGG, TXT, PDF 

Due to a storage space issue, our customer recently moved their files from the database (DB) to File System Storage (FSS).Since then, users have been receiving the information message shown below when accessing documents, and it is causing delays when viewing them.After researching the IFS Community, we found that this behavior may be related to the "Enable File Scan to Detect Malware" parameter in the System Parameters window. The suggested workaround is to disable this setting. However, due to security considerations, we do not want to disable malware scanning at this stage.We have also attempted refreshing the system caches, but the issue persists.Current version :25.1.5Any guidance or recommendations on how to resolve this issue while keeping malware scanning enabled would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone, I developed a webapp for my company users so they can create customer orders and quotations in IFS easier from an Excel file readen by my app. My point is, how would I do to allow my app add a Document Text on a quotation / Customer order line ? Let’s focus on Customer order first. I tried to spy the IFS requests when creating a new Document Text for a customer order line, but found out that a “NoteId” param was sended in the first POST method’s payload, and I don’t understand where it comes from… I also tried via Postman to make the 1st POST call to “NoteTexts” with an empty payload, and it gave me an ObjKey, but NoteId null… 

We are currently in the process of migrating documents stored in SharePoint to Azure file storage. Our aim is to retain the current folder structure that matches the document class within SharePoint. However, we have encountered some challenges along the way.I came across some information regarding the relevance of this process. Could you please confirm if this information is still applicable for version 25R1.7.  Any insights or guidance you have would be greatly appreciated, as we want to ensure a smooth transition.  

I have a media item setup in an equipment object.I want to change it. I have deleted the media item, but the previous media item is still visible and I cannot change it.   

IFS Environment: Apps 10 UPD14.I created a Boomi process that uploads a file into the document attachment section in IFS.This was done using the Boomi HTTP Client connector using method PATCH.  I was wondering if this could also be done using the Boomi IFS Aurean connector?Projection: CreateAndImportDocument Object: EdmFileSet

I am working with IFS Report Rules (Sign PDF action) and need to apply a digital signature on the last page of a report where the page count is dynamic. I tried using options like “LAST” and “-1” for page selection along with correct coordinates, but the signature only works when a fixed page number is provided. It seems that Report Layout handles pagination while Report Rules run after PDF generation, and the Sign PDF action does not support dynamic page targeting. I would like to know if there is a supported way, best practice, or workaround to always place the signature on the final page without hardcoding page numbers. 

Is it currently possible to lock down items in the attachments pane on the Change Order screen once the CO is in a certain status?For example, once a CO has gone from ‘Analyzed’ to ‘Approved’, items in the attachments pane can no longer be added, removed, modified. We are in the Apps10 environment - Thanks in advance.  

Cloud File Storage Migration Tool can be used to migrate media items from older releases into Cloud File Storage of IFS Cloud release.But I didn’t find an information that the tool supports archived media items in the source system.Can Cloud File Storage Migration Tool also be used to migrate archived media items even if it’S not documented?If not, what would be a practicable way to migrate archived media items in Apps10 to Cloud File Storage in R24?The volume of media items is extremely big (several TB). Therefore, it’s not an option to first migrate all media items to the Apps 10 database before running the Cloud File Storage Migration Tool.

Hi,We have setup docman  in a new cloud environment and customer migrated all of his documents over to new drive as well. After the new setup, customer can attach new documents and can review old documents without any issue.Questions When we check the File Storage, all documents are going in one folder ‘DocMan’ in the folder newly created and customer wants to save documents in different folders like below. Any documentation on how we can do a setup using File Storage repository type that fulfills customer requirements?     2. When examining the document names within the folder, they appear in an unreadable format. How can we store them in a manner that is readable and easily understood?

Hi all,I’ve hit a snag while configuring document access in IFS Applications and would appreciate some clarity from the community.Scenario: I’ve set up two access groups via access templates: one for Read and another for Write. Users in the Read group can see documents as expected. However, these same users are able to detach documents—both those they’ve created and those created by others. My understanding is that ‘Read’ access should prevent any action beyond viewing, so detaching feels like a breach of the intended restrictions. Hello, I would like to ask, how to setup few restriction to users with View access in certain Document class. I have user IC.TEST that have View Access to bellow document but he is able to do several strange actions to the document that should not be allowed.Could you please check and advice how to not allow mentioned actions bellow:Generated Access ResultsIs it possible to restrict edit, delete and unlock options for object connections in tab Objects in Document revision for users that have granted View access through certain Document Class ? In 25R1, has anyone used the Document Macros functionality to extract a media image from an object in IFS and insert it into a Word document? I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on whether this is feasible.

From what I have read, when a Document Structure is Released with Released Documents in the Consists of Tab, the Structure Documents are Locked.  To Revise a document in the Consists of tab and Replace the previous Revision, the Parent Document Revision needs to be Revised.    When creating a New Revision, there is a statement saying You cannot replace a revision on a parent that is Released or Approved.  There is a statement saying You can always replace the revision later (manually) if you change your mind.  Is this statement in regard to the previous statement regarding replacing a revision on a Parent that is Released or Approved?Once the new subdocument is Released, On the Parent Document, on the Consists of Tab, there is an option to Replace Revision and you can replace a sub document on a Released Revision.
