Hi ,

Appreciate your support on below.

Is there a way to only send an email when a scheduled quick report runs if there are rows?

One of out customers have a report to show expired parts in stock and typically there won't be any parts but the report runs daily and sends a blank spreadsheet to folks (No Data Found).  The blank report is unnecessary.

Thank you ,

Lumini.

Hello,

I am not aware of a way to set up what you are requesting.

Something to consider is that the blank report indicates that the report has run successfully and found no results. Not sending any email is ambiguous because it could mean that the report did not run successfully or it ran and there are no results.

That’s something I’d like the answer to as well 😀

We are having to use a third-party reporting tool in preference to the Scheduled Quick Reports feature for this very reason.

This has been a challenge for us as well. Due to the lack of this feature in IFS, we've had to rely on a custom portal solely for scheduling reports.

There should be an option to stop sending the email if no data is retrieved.

That’s a good idea - you should post it on the idea-wall. I’d definetly vote for it.

Regarding Lumini’s question: a tile in a lobby could be a viable workaround
