Does anyone have some decent work procedures from soup to nuts written up for the set up, processes, and sub-processes for the new next generation service management?

Our EAM customer is looking for a reference how to apply e-Class classification for parts.We do have characteristics and we do have assortment in the application. Have you applied e-Class classification amongst your customers, and if yes - how?(We are running Cloud 22R1)(https://eclass.eu/en) 

Hi,does someone know what’s the difference between a serial object and a tool now in IFS Cloud 21R1 and after? I explain:with a serial object we can create Wos, PM actions on it, PM programs, report some measurements, connect it as a resourcewith a tool, we can also create Wos, PM actions on it, PM programs, report some measurements, connect it as a resource.However, I can also connect the tool to a serial object but what for? The on ly reason why I find is because we cant’ have any cost/revenue analysis uusing tool (as we can for objects and its structure).If this button exists for this reason, so why don’t we have cost/rev analysis form them instead of having to manage so many IFS Objects (part serial, serial objects, tools)? The last differentiator I see for tool is that we can also use a tool on a work order but not using a serial Object Resource in a WO (except assigning the SO on this WO)? It would be great if someone has the reason why it’s like that… Thanks

Has anyone made good use of functionality in IFS Cloud to hold information on a Lease, and also Insurance flow for management of Assets? It can be, or it can include, configuration with Custom LU’s and data elements.    

Hi, we have been using aurena tech portals for 7-8 months in apps 10 now. However, our utilization rate is too low. There are a few reasons for that:we need to use work task assignments, not applicable for parts of our org. the solution requires online connection UI is a bit tiny on phone size devices (font etc)what would you recommend us going forward? Aurena native? Optimizing our tech portal? Partner solutions?

Hi, We have setup a Maintenance Resource with User HR Checkbox enabled to get the insights of Trainings and Absence of Maintenance employee while doing the Resource Capacity Analysis.However we are not able to retrieve the  necessary information. Below are the details of Allocated Training to the Employee and Missing information observed in the Resource Analysis window.Does this require any additional setup other than the below displayed screens. Kindly provide your inputs.

When setting up the Competence Requirements like Groups, Scale and Elements: Seems to be a required field that is required called Competency Point.  We are not understanding the reasoning of why or how to set up the numbers correctly.We are on IFS9  

Hi all.Could someone help with the situation bellow?I have 3 pm actions for the compress equipment and the trigger is based on condition hours.There are some equipments (instruments) that needs to be connected to the main pm action to be generated according to the compress hourmeter.the sequence of conditions are 2000hrs, 4000hrs, 8000hrs and so on.The instrument 01 4k hrs, needs to be connected to the compress 4k and 8k so I’ll not duplicate the pm action of the instrument.Not allowed to connect the same pm action under two different compress pm action. Please see print.Am I missing something or there another way to do this?I tried creating just on pm action including all conditions line in condition tab considering the maint triggers of the work task template but as I generate the WO, the system takes all the work tasks templates to the WO of just one condition (4k hrs for instance).Also tried the replacement function but it’s not possible as there is connection for the related pm ac

Hello Comunity, I want to delete some fixed assets with no GL Vouchers nor any amount recorded on them. Assets are in status Registered or Investments. I can easily switch the status from Registered to Investments and viceversa.  But when i try to delete i receive below error message: i thought that maybe there is a PR for asset 10053620 but i found nothing in Purchase Requisition lines when i searched for the mentioned asset.Does anyoane has any ideea why this error is generated? thanks in advance for your time.

Hi,We have an asset that is fully depreciated and the last depreciation was done in 2019. We want to remove the salvage value and depreciate the remaining amount once we remove the salvage value. What I have done so far that work is change the estimate life, removed the salvage value. I found the only was to remove to the check box of fully depreciated is to do a net value change ( I just put in .01) then i was able to run depreciation on this asset. Is there another way of doing this? Any help would be great.CheersMaggie

Hi all !My customer (in IFS Cloud) has some preventive maintenance activities that need to be scheduled and executed outside of working hours, ie during night time or during week-ends.I thought I could use the calendar that can be linked to a PM Action.But I saw in another post on this Community that this calendar is designed to add exceptions to the main calendar, which is used to define planned date and time in the maintenance plan.The main calendar being the one linked to the maintenance organization associated with the PM Action.Is there a way to set up the system so that, for some PM Actions, the maintenance plan occurrences are scheduled outside of working hours (or according a different calendar than the one linked to the maintenance organization) ?NB : it is not possible to create a different maintenance organization for “work outside working hours” because the employees would be the same in both organization.Have you already encountered this type of requirement ?Any idea on ho

Hi all.Is there a way to take an approval process to a WO worktask included in a worklist of the pm action after WO generation?I’ve included the approval process in task template or pm action worklist, but after the wo generation, the worktask approval process is empty.  

Hi, I have a case from a customer whereby the PMs scheduled for a weekend are getting missed completely. The customer has monthly PMs and if a PM gets scheduled on a weekend, the system does not prepone or postone it. It skips it completely. Any idea if this is a bug or we have a setting somewhere to handle it Nitin

Hi,Maintenance Planners usually make changes for the work order schedule after executing the automatic scheduling in Maintenance Planning Board (MPB).Eg: Planner changes the planned start date of the work task by manually dragging and dropping the Work Task to a future date.Is there an option in the MPB to reverse/undo the above change without manually dragging and dropping it to the date where it was earlier? Thank you.

How do I set up an event so that the project connection is assigned automatically by using the work type field in the prepare for work order page? IE when the work type is a certain value then the project connection is the correlating value.
