When you are in work task template there are two fields available that both are called “Created by” and gives different search results. When using advanced search i can see that one is connected to “CreatedById” and one to “DoneBy”. This makes me confused since i cant find information about “DoneBy”. I think this is difficult to understand and very confusing for customers.

1. Using search condition “created By” that is connected to CreatedById
2. Using search condition “created By” that is connected to DoneBy

 

Hi @JohannaKindvall ,

I too observed the same behavior in 22R1 and 22R2 developing track. We need to address this issue and correct it to avoid confusion. Please raise a support case for that.

Unfortunately I do not have any customer that i can raise a support case on behalf of. Are you able to do that?

We took discussions with IFS R&D and identified that those two “Created By” fields that appear in the search panel are related to the following two fields

In General Tab

 

In Prepare Tab

 

For the moment it is not decided how to correct this, but it seems the ‘Created By’ field can be removed from General Tab. With a proper investigation R&D will correct this in 23R1.
