I have tried enable the baseline “ReceivingList” screen in FSM Mobile application through configurations but the screen is not visible in Global menu.Can any one suggest for this issue?

Counting

Dears,I’m ne user of IFS and getting familiar with Warehouse Management functions.So, question is, what’s the benefit of using Counting-Create count report, while one can extract data from “Inventory Part In Stock” and start with physical cycle count process.or maybe I don't properly understand the functionality of “Counting” function. Time reports of tools and equipment

Hi everyone, when created a resource line where demand type is tools/equipment , after time reporting , in the cost line the cost type is coming as personnel ,But when directly reporting time for tools and equipmentthe cost line shows tools and equipment.I understand this could be something basic but I do not know the logic, can anyone please explainregards

Workflow Fault report to released Work order

Hello, im struggeling with a workflow configuration. The workflow is as follows:Create a Faultreport in window (Fault Report) (FaultReportHandling) to trigger workflow (after) Check if priority_ID = 1 else close workflow. Get WoData (tried both prepareworkhandling and faultworkhandling API. Set WorkType with PrepareWorkHandling. Release Wo. I’ve tried many different scenarios but it always fails when the release action is included with below message or "Resource not found”. If I remove the activity “Release Wo” the workflow works and “Set WorkType” does what it should.I can also get this to work if I only work in the “Prepare Work Order page” but it’s not what I want.Can anyone assist? Pre-posting on Ad hoc Purchase Orders

We have a scenario where PO lines have mandatory pre posting has been enabled. Customer uses ad-hoc purchasing to report expenses that have been externally purchased after purchasing so that authorization process of normal Purchase Requisition can be skipped. After enabling mandatory Pre posting on PO lines we are unable to complete the Ad Hoc purchasing and the process is not inheriting the Pre posting from Work Task as well. Is there any other setup that will help on this?

PM Actions Start Date Format and Function KB0062660

Knowledge Base article KB0062660 says the issue with the Start Date field not updating PM Actions from PM Action is fixed in 23R2 and later releases. We’re on 23R1 SU16.Does anyone know if the Start Date field on PM Actions is able to update the field on PM Action (reverse of the knowledge base article) and if the format of the field is changed from Text to Date in 23R2 and later?

Create Follow-up WO from PM WO

Hi IFS GuruWe have some PM WO such as Inspection and has a KPI Nos. of CPM ( Corrective Preventive Maintenance).While performing this work we need to collate, how many times the CPM Work Order is created from the PM WO, We would like to create a follow-up work order for such CPM WO with reference to PM WO number . Create only the last WO after a huge measurement value.

Hi all maintenance expert.My customer has a PM action triggered by condition (500h cumulative).Let’s say that any measurement had been done for a long time and the last value measured is 1600h (Delta).How to avoid creating all the WO (500h, 1000h, 1500h) that had been bypassed and create only the last one? Work Orders tab in Isolation Order

Hello,maybe someone can clarify for what purpose the tab “Work Orders” is needed in the form “Isolation Order”?Work orders there are attached only manually. If Work Order is connected to Isolation Order via Permit, the information of such Work Order doesn’t appear in this tab. Such connection is seen only in the form “Work Orders, Permits and Isolation Orders”, but not on Isolation Order.So I do not understand for what purpose this tab is needed in Isolation Order. Connections of Isolation Order and Work Orders that are made in this tab doesn’t apply any rules for Isolation Order and Work Orders dates too.

No reference of WO on the PM

Hello,I have noticed that six work orders are being generated every other day by a scheduler, and while the jobs and templates reference a PM, the maintenance plan itself does not contain such a work order. The concept of Rule ID is being utilized. Can anyone provide insight into the specific logic behind this situation?Your help is greatly appreciated.

Difference Object Type - Type Designations

Hi All, I’m looking for more information with regards to the use of Object Type and Type Designations on the Serial Object. What are they used for and how exactly do they influence each other and what are some use cases for them. Situation: I entered a Type designation 0001 that I connected to Object type 600. Both of them were linked to Technical class 005. Question 1: So when you go to the Serial Object, you can select a ‘Type Designation’ and the ‘Object Type’ will be completed with the object linked to the Type Designation - so far so good.But when both fields are empty and you select an Object Type, the Type Designation does not get auto-filled. Is there any reason for this? Why does Type designation autocomplete the Object Type but not vice-versa? Question 2: it seems to be possible to add different technical classes to the Type Designation and the Object Type, while they are interconnected themselves (changed Technical Class for Type Designation to TC2 instead of TC5) . PM Action

Hi,I hope someone can provide guidance on the following: We are looking to streamline our PM actions and implement a form of suppression to prevent work orders from being raised when the service year is not applicable. Specifically, we have equipment objects that require servicing at 1,3 and 5 -year intervals. Our goal is to create a PM action that raises work orders according to these intervals, while ensuring following: The 1 year PM action needs to raise a work order in year 1, 2 and 4 only The 3 year PM action needs to raise a work order in year 3 only The 5 year PM action needs to raise a work order in year 5 onlyIs it possible to achieve this using standard IFS functionality, or would a CRIM be necessary? Declining balance depreciation Fixed Asset

Hello Community, for our tax book we need to deprecitat Fixed Asset object based on Declining depreciatin Method. Depreciation amount = depreciation rate x book value of the previous year.The depreciation rate is the same every year, for example 20 percent. The book value, on the other hand, is different every year and corresponds to the net book value at the beginning of the year. That is the rule:declining mehthod can be 2,5 times higer than linear method but maximal 25% of acquistion amount respect net valueSo we calculate, 100 / Lifetime * 2,5 result maximum 25%Example: 10 years depreciation, 100/10 = 10% *2,5 = 25% Example: 8 years deprecation, 100/8 = 12,5% *2,5 = 31,25% - Maximum 25%Example 15 years depreceation, 100/12 = 8,33*2,5 = 20,83% Actually we need to calculate in advance and select the method with the respctive factor. Is there a possibility to set up one depreciation mehtod that calcualtes that factor for us? regards Sebastian

Resource Analysis - Duplicate data issue

Hello All,I am encountering an issue with duplicate data in the Resource Analysis screen. For a given week, both PM Actions and Work Tasks are displayed. However, I have noticed that some PM Actions are appearing even after they’ve been converted into Work Tasks, leading to resource demand being counted in both sections. This results in a doubled demand for that week.Ex- PM Action 3665 is listed in the orange color list as shown below.The Work Task generated from the above PM Action 3665 is also listed in Work Task list in yellow color. The FSM schedule board entry overlap

Hi All, The FSM application schedule board task is overlapping on existing calendar exception and this is the current behaviour of the FSM application. However, If two task scheduled on the same time slot. its getting appear on different rows. but, if there is a task and calendar exception on same time. its getting appear on same row. The overlapping task and calendar exception is a bad user experience for end users. Therefore, could you please consider this enhancement request and implement this in future FSM versions. Programmatic call to scrap_part in API

We have a request to scrap a large number of parts with the information being provided via an Excel file. I have been trying to call the inventory_part_in_stock_api scrap_part procedure after first using the find_part procedure. When calling find_part I get the results I expect. However, using the same information to try to call scrap_part always returns a part in stock does not exist. This is the exact error message. Could someone guide me on where to find the information necessary to properly call this API procedure? Thank you in advance!
