Having a customer that run Cloud and are using Maintenance (not service) and Assignments/Allocations for Work tasks.When they have a work order with several work tasks and all tasks will be assigned to the same person they use the functionality ‘ assign multiple tasks’. So far so good. When they pick ‘Person’ and open the drop list for resources they see ALL Person resources they have for Maintenance. Doesn’t matter which Resource group or Maint org the work order/task having or which Resource group or Maint org the Resource person belongs to.If they are using assignment per work task, only person connected to current Resource group or Maint org are available.Anyone having the same issue?Anyone know how to solve it?

Hi All.Could someone help how could I set up an object transformation from TaskTemplateWorkStep to PmActionWorkStep?My need is to transform an image from worktaskstep template to the pm actions and finally to a workorder. Hi everyone,could any one help with this issue? I created an assortment, linked two parts and activeted to limit the sync parts to mobile but no parts are shown in mobile.I already linked to the mobile user in mobile parts basic data, sync all the entities.The flag “sync all parts” in TAS is off.I’m using IFSAPP V10 UPD8Do I need to do something else?tks 

Hi,I am working for a customer who is upgrading from IFS9 to IFS Cloud.What I want to achieve is to get the Map Position set on the Work Order and to forward this to the Work Task. So I tried that but the Work Task does not inherit the Map Position. I have tried multiple settings in the Object Transformations.These are the settings I used (first only with JtTask and ActiveSeparate and later with WorkOrder) Can someone tell me what needs to happen to achieve what I want?  

When I try to generate with Work Order Criteria Generation from this screen  I’m getting the following error details. I notice that it’s traying to generate also Calendar based WO. And below, I’m getting status of unfinished WO.Does someone have an explanation? Great thanksBest regards

Hello - looking for anyone (consultant, presales, customers) who has experience/knowledge around the reality of GIS integration. Specifically, has anyone got experience/involvement in automatically creating and synchronising IFS Objects with GIS asset data, to minimise manual user input with large volumes of assets?It would be great to understand the method that was used to achieve this and the level of effort that was involved.

Hi,My customer will move Functional Objects between different sites, and there seems to be a very important functionality missing when doing so.When moving a Functional Object - the Object Site does not change (see image below). This creates problems when trying to change/create new PM Action or create new work - since the Functional Object cannot be found.  When moving a Serial Object there is a functionality to move to new site and at the same time create a PM revision. This should also be possible when moving a Functional Object.It is quite critical to make this work for any kind of object, PM Actions are a very vital funct

Hi!Where can I find the Interval setting for events in PM actions in IFS? I want to configure different PMs to generate at different intervals within the same event. I´m usin IFS Cloud. Its described in a answer 3 years ago;  “When you enter the event data into your PMs you just enter as follows.PM ‘X’ - Event = <event name> , Start = 1, Interval = 1 PM ‘Y’ Event = <event name> , Start = 1, Interval = 3Now when running your event generation for event <event name> you will get PM ’X’ generated each time and PM ‘Y’ every third time.” kind regards Emma

Hello, Is there a transaction in IFSAPP10 that allows us to see future available resource capacities? Our company is new to IFS and we seem to be just rolling the work forward when we get to that point. it would be good to see what resources are available in the future and plan work accordingly. We are using the Resource Monitoring Gantt for daily use and weekly planning, can this be set up to see availabilities? ThanksCory

Hi all.Could someone know if it’s possible to a maintenance plan of the “children” objects based on codition of the main object in structure?E.g.: I have a pump that works by hours.But bellow the pump, there are a couple of components that each one has a pm action.I need to generate work orders based onde the hours measured registered in the pump, and not in the components.if it’s not possible, I’ll need to set the parameter hour for all components and replicate the hours measured in the pump for all of them to have a maintenance plan.tks a lot

We are in IFS Version 10We have user’s that are receiving shipped parts in the field.  We would like an Aurena screen that the user can go to a scan a barcode to look up the part and mark it received.Can this be done on an Aurena screen?Can we use the Scan It application via web browser in chrome or edge? 

Community,what is the best practice for us on APP10 without CRO (Component Repair Order)?currently our site in Canada manufactured the product and sell to our sister company in Germany.  currently we don’t have a best practice process (my thoughts) defined in IFS. We are still using RMA to return to Canada site, and lots of manual jobs.my thought isexternal service order at Germany side to send the product for service to Canada Canada site will create service request and receive order (CRO) to receive the product to Canada facility, meantime, create customer order for ship back the product to Germany. Create Repair Work Order from service request. complete the repair service and ship back to Germany.please share your thoughts.Thank you.

Hi,Hi, I have a problem with publishing an HTML model in the Scope Tool. When I export it in two language versions – EN and CZ – the generated model is only created in English, and it's not possible to switch to Czech. Do you have any recommendations or experience on how to generate the HTML model in a language version other than English?  

Hi IFS,We have a scenario, we perform some work for the customer then for additional work its required to get the customer approval. For this we create an additional task with planning lines where its required to create a service Quotation.However when I create a Quotation from the work order header, this includes all task but not the one we just need customer acceptence. How to handle this in Cloud?We dont need to create a service quotation for the first task as it has performed as per customer contract agreements within the accepted limit.How I can include just the one Task in the service qutation? Thanks,KM

Hello,I am trying to find a way to easily replace obsolete work task templates in IFSAPPS10. I found a thread about the same questions, but it is not clear to me.Obsolete revisions on PM Actions | IFS CommunityCurrently the only effective method known to me is as follows.Create Work Task Template Revision Create revision on relevant PM Programs Replace Work Task Template in PM Programs Apply new revision on relevant objects Correct Start Value (effective change date)This seems to be a lot of work, so I found the function: Replace Obsolete Work Task Templates On PM Actions. But this does not update existing active PM Actions.

We are currently on 24R1 SU6, and notice that the Property Name “FINISH_WITH_TASK” not is documented here or in 24R2. 🙄I changed the value from FALSE to TRUE in our test environment.I had a WO in status Work Done, and 2 work task where one was Finished and the other one Work Done.  The expected result was that the WO should change status to “Finished” when the last work task was changed to Finished. The actual result was that the WO changed to status Reported.I changed the value back to FALSE, and re-tested the same scenario again and got the same result. It seems like the the property not is used in any logic. Is there any planned changes related to the functionality for this object property to 25R1?
