Hi, Is there anyway to default this (see yellow highlight) as FALSE - “Create Quotation in Released Status” when creating a Sales Quote from a Business Opportunity? I know it’s possible to do this for Customer Orders from the CRM Basic Default Values but can’t see an option for Quotations. I always want my Sales Quotations to be created in a Planned State. Can’t see anyway on CRM Default Values or Site Settings to change this have I missed something or is this a limitation? Thanks Tom

I there a way Not have to save after every time something it done to an Customer order, something as simple as a date change or entering a part#.... Auto save?

Hello, I have a client that has a distribution order with the same “Planned Receipt Date” as the customer order “Planned Delivery Date”. They want a one-day buffer between them . We have changed dates in the Supply Chain Matrix, lead times, safety lead times, etc. and still the dates are the same. I did not think this was standard functionality. Am I missing something?

When releasing a Planned Customer Order, our order status goes into an “In Process” state rather than Released. We have tried turning off custom events and other aspects to see if anything was impacting the status.

I am doing some experimenting trying to solve a problem where specific sales parts for specific customers can only be made with raw materials from a supplier authorized by the customer. Think of it as making customer-specific parts made from raw aluminum supplied by ALCOA and that the customer has approved use of certain ALCOA raw materials. I was experimenting the use of the supply code “Production Schedule” from a customer order line to determine if that customer order line is “pegged” to a particular production schedule in a manner similar to how customer order lines are “pegged” to the shop orders on which the parts are built. I created a customer order for a production schedule part and released the customer order. But I did not receive a production schedule. What am I missing? Thanks!

I have a customer who insists on having links to Terms and Conditions on the last page of a couple of reports. They used to have rather simple URLs, so I could just add the addresses in blue and underlined, and it looked and worked OK. Now, however, they have looong addresses that one typically hides with a simple text, in html it would be something like ‘<a href="https://example.com">Website</a>’. Can I do something within the Report Designer to accomplish the same in the resulting PDF? I have tried to convince the customer to use the Insert PDF option - but for some reason they do not like that.

I am working with a customer that wants to run a process to recalculate the and reset the prices on their open customer order lines because of price list changes that may occur monthly, I know on an individual customer order line, you can recalculate the price/currency but is there a process that can do this for a range of or all customer order lines? I am working with a customer that wants to run a process to recalculate the and reset the costs on their open purchase order lines because of supplier raw material costs change that will occur monthly, Think of it as the commodity costs for metal changes at the beginning of each month and that new cost needs to be now on all open PO’s as well as using it ro reset the raw material’s standard costs and thus changes the standard costs of the products produced by that raw material. I know individual purchase order line costs can be manually changed, but is there a process that can do this for a range of or all open purchase order lines? Thanks!

24.1.5We toggled the Mandatory Expiration Date (under Shelf Life on the Inventory Part page) on several parts. After doing so, several of those parts showed up when we ran MRP, despite having no demand source. I’m trying to figure out why that toggle alone would impact MRP. The Days, Minimum Remaining Days at CO Delivery, and Minimum Remaining Days for Planning are blank or set to 0.

How the “Latest Order Date” is calucated in Purchase Requisition Line (Distribution calendar is 5-days per week, assuming no exceptions) Supplier Manufacturing Lead Time External Transport Lead Time Transport Lead Time Internal Delivery Lead Time Inspection Lead Time 280 0 0 4 20 Purchase Lead Time = Supplier Manufacturing Lead Time + External Transport Lead Time + Transport Lead Time + Internal Delivery Lead Time + Inspection Lead. Time When calcualting the Lead Time, the calendar is not relevant therefore the Purcahse Lead Time is 304 days in this scenario. Then when a Purchase Requisition Line is created for this part with “Wanted Receipt Date” as 2024-10-04, the “Latest Order Date” is calculated as 2023-11-27. The number of calendar days between 2023-11-27 and 2024-10-04 is 312 days not 304 days. There is a difference due to the used calendars. First 280 days are calculated considering 7 working days

In previous versions of IFS (APPS9 AND APPS10), if the order confirmation was printed for a customer order, a change in the target delivery date on customer order lines would not update the promised delivery date. However, in IFS cloud 22R2, updating the target delivery date does update the promised delivery date. Please advise if this is a bug or intended functionality.

I often need to switch between CRM Panel data linking to multiple IFS environments (different IFS Customer engagemets in parallel). If I uninstall the existing add-in and try to install a new one, the old one seems to stay in place for a while. Is there a particular action to refresh this so that Outlook connects to the “new” environment?

Hello! I have recently shared the below in Supply Chain but would like to share here too. If anyone has any experience using IFS with POS systems it would be greatly appreciated to hear how you got on setting up and how cohesively your process works with the integrations. Our company is a manufacturing business but the other half of our operations are Retail/Sales based. We carry out a high volume of varied sales transactions with about 45 different forwarders etc, and are yet to hear if anyone has used IFS for a similar purpose? Thanks :)

Hi When I use Calculate Master Schedule Level 1 with a specified part number, it successfully creates a Distribution Order. However, when scheduling it without a part number, it should automatically consider part numbers based on the site, but no Distribution Order is created. How can we resolve this? Please explain about calculate master schedule level1.

As per the title, in my Basic data I’ve defined that when a CO is raised from an Opportunity that the Business Opportunity must be Closed after. However, when I try to convert a Business Opportunity Line to a Customer Order this option is both False and Greyed out. Why is this happening when my basic data settings confirm the opposite of this? Any help would be appreciated. Apps 10 - EE - U23
