Hi Team,I’m hoping to execute IPR without using forecast option which feed from Demand planner. Yet I face below error: INVPLA module is installed in the system and there is no demand plan service. Do system admin needs to enable any other service to use IPR functionalities ?

Create Picklist for Customer Orders

My company is upgrading from APP9 to Cloud. We’ve only found the Create Picklist for Customer Orders screen. Is there any screen or option to create picklist for customer order lines. We may have a customer order with 50 lines, all 50 are reserved, but we would only want to print the picklist for 25 of the lines. We’ve not found a way to print for specific customer order lines and avoid printing for the other 25 lines if they are on the same customer order.

ABC Analysis Based on Part Value instead of Sales

All,I have been working on a success engagement with a customer who wants to do their ABC analysis in a manner different from the standard way IFS calculates it. The standard method is based on the sales transactions but if you have high volume items that are in stock and not yet sold (large engine assemblies that are infrequently sold) or low value but high-volume items (such as fasteners that can be replenished in days), the standard method may result in false settings. The current calculation does not have any consideration of the items' lead times.The customer would rather set the value of the items to set the ABC class based on their value rather than the sales amount.Has anyone encountered this dilemma before and if so, how did you handle it? We COULD use an external script to do this evaluation, so I'd appreciate your guidance on this! Thanks!

Exclude Non inventory Sales Part from shipment

Dear All, In the past, when we released a CO with Shipment type ‘NR’, IFS would automatically create a shipment for all CO Lines, but would exclude the Non-inventory items. In recent versions of IFS cloud, the non inventory items are added to the shipment. But is this a setting or not? In my current case, this is absolutely not desired by the client, and I was hoping since it was not like this in the past that this would be controlled by a setting on the Company/Site or some Basic Data. Add Available Qty to Business Opportunity Lines

My sales team is using Business Opportunity to add lines and only moving to Sales Quotation when the quote is ready to be generated for the customer. They wish to see “Available Qty” on Opportunity Lines just like the native field displays on the Sales Quotation Lines. It doesn’t appear I can create a simple read only reference field for this and need a select statement. I haven’t been able to get one to work, can someone offer assistance?

Export Control Customer Prospect

Is there a way in the Export Control module to set the Denied Party setting for a Customer record that is still a Prospect?The sales force entered the Customer record and created a Business Opportunity, but during our pre-quote review we discovered the Prospect is a Denied Party. We want to add them to the list to prevent potentially missing this in the future, but when we try to add them to the Denied Party - Customer we get the error Customer 700413 is not of category Customer.

Automated notification

Hi, We’re implementing the CRM module and I want to generate automated notifications-by email- that would be sent to the main representative in a Business Opportunity. We’ve created a custom field called “follow up date” which as the name states it is the date at which we should follow up with the prospect/customer. The idea would be to send an email reminding the rep to check a BO 7 days before the follow up date so they don’t forget any BO. Here are the conditions: Status NOT IN (‘Cancelled’,’Closed’) CF$_Follow_Up_Date <= sysdate+7How would you achieve that ?Thanks! PS: we’re running on IFS Cloud 24.1.4

How to populate data from one field to another on a different page

My sales team is using Sales Quotation and is requiring the team to complete the Request Receipt Date field before the quote can be sent. They wanted the same field on Business Opportunity (custom field created) to feed this native field. If the salesperson forgot to input a date on the BusOp, they would still be able to on the Request Receipt Date on the Sales Quotation. I have been unable to figure out how to have the field on the Sales Quotation populate with the date entered on my custom field on the BusOp. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Multiple FILE_SENDER Setup

I am trying to ouput XML report data for operational reporting to multiple servers based on the report (IFS Cloud 24R1). I have setup four FILE_SENDERs all with the Out Directory to a different server. I then created RPL files for the reports and specified the FILE_SENDER that I want the report to send to. Even though I specified FILE_SENDER4 in one of my RPLs, it still went to the FILE_SENDER1 server. Why are we able to setup multiple file senders if it doesn’t follow the setup?

CLOUD Custom field LOV based on a table in a different entity

I would like to add a Brand field to the PartCatalog Entity, and I would like the user to select from a list of values in the ServiceBrand Entity. In App10, we currently use an enumeration field but since there is a native brand field in the Request Management area, we prefer to use the native table.When I try to add a field to the PartCatalog entity, I am unable to reference the ServiceBrand Entity.Any suggestions?

Business Lead "Duplicate Lead" Flag Not Checked

When I duplicate a lead and save it with the exact same name and association no, the “Duplicate Lead” box is not getting checked.When I click Save, I do get a pop-up notification asking if I want to view the duplicate.How can we get the “Duplicate Lead” box to be checked? Is there additional setup needed or criteria we are missing? We have tried this in both Aurena and IEE. Below is our current setup for the Duplicate check Action Setup and Duplicate Check Rule:

Create New Lead from a Business Activity - No reference is created between them

I can create a “New Lead” using a button on the Business Activity (for a Customer).However after doing so, there is no pointer from the Lead to the Activity or vice versa. Seems like they should have a reference to each other so that other users can see what was done.

How to Invoice block a customer order – Charge line

We would like to Invoice block a Freight Charge which is in order level. Could you please let us know if we can do Invoice block a customer order – Charge line, which is not connected to any Line? In some orders, we need to review/update our freight charges before it get invoiced. So we wanted to Invoice block the charge.If there is no way to Invoice block FREIGHT charge, Is it possible to connect the FREIGHT to a delivered order line and Invoice block the Order line and after Freight charge is reviewed/updated then uncheck Invoice block line and remove connection line to the Freight charge? Customer Order - Availability Check & Capability Check

We are currently working on some solutions to improve our dates for our customers. One gap we currently have within IFS is that ATP (Available to Promise) and CTP (Capability check or Capable to Promise) do not include open supply, unless the Wanted Date is within the Open Supply window. Example where Supply is not seen:Customer Order Wanted Delivery Date - 5/10/21 Shop Order Due Date 5/12 ATP runs and shows you can only fulfill so much of the order (based on qty on hand and selling qty). Thus the user runs CTP moves the promise date on the customer order to the full part lead time (30 days) even though the supply is coming in on the 12th. Example where Supply is seen:Customer Order Wanted Delivery Date - 5/10/21 Shop Order Due Date 5/8 ATP or CTP see the supply and the date properly plans the customer order. With the supply not being seen on the first one example, we get an extended lead time that is no necessary. Do any other customers run into this issue? If so, have you come up wi

Automatically Opening "New Handover Reference" Assistant When Accepting a Case Task

Hello, We are a current IFS APPS10 user. When we accept a Call Center case task that has a handover reference enable, (as soon as the task it is accepted), “New Handover Reference” assistant appears to walk the user through the process. Assumption: User accept that task when he needs to create a handover reference. This handover is mainly a customer order. So we accept the “Invoice” task to create a “Customer Order”. We are moving to IFS Cloud and I was not able to configure this in the test environment to automate handover creation. So when I accept the task, it just changes status from New to Open. Now user needs to click on the three dots, and manually select “New Handover Reference”. This is a big risk as if user forgets to open a new handover reference, that can lead to a potential revenue loss. I am wondering if I am missing a step here and am looking for a solution. I would be grateful if someone can help me with this. Thank you!

Unable to Approve MPL voucher

Hello,We are currently facing an issue where the MPL voucher has a balance in Parallel currency and as a result it is impossible to update the MPL voucher to the GL. IFS Version – APP10 UPD11PO created in currency EUR for an inventory part. Accounting currency of the company is USD & Parallel currency is NGN (Nigerian Naira).Parallel currency base for the company = Transaction Currency.GR done & inventory transaction has been transferred to Finance. MPL voucher stuck in Voucher Entry screen with Not Approved state. When you try to Approve you get the error “Voucher with status approved must be in balance”. As highlighted below there is a balance remaining in Parallel currency. Appreciate if anyone could advise what is the best way to fix this issue.

All Business Opportunities showing additional representative

Hi all, I believe this was setup a while ago, but I cannot find the location in IFS APPS 10 UPD 22 to undo it. When any Business Opportunity is created, the main representative is added along with an additional representative. I cannot find anywhere in the CRM/SRM Basic Data where this is being set. I don’t see any default templates in use that would add the user. If you block that user, you cannot add any BOs, as it states the representative is not available. Any guidance on where to look to remove this would be appreciated. Thank you!
