Hi All, We can give a time to complete when we change the status of an assignment to “Incomplete” in a Request task. The status of the assignment is changed to “Incomplete” and “Time to Completion” is updated correctly. However, there is no any slot in the Dispatch Console or any other place to assign this remaining 1 hour as an assignment.If we Incomplete an assignment from MWO by choosing the option “Needs to be planned”, then we can suggest a Resource Group and Preferred Resource while we incomplete the assignment. Then only, assignment slot appears in the dispatch console. But, what will happen when a technician only Incomplete work by giving remaining time to complete?TIA.
Hi all,where can a Package part number actually be used?We trying to use a Package Part in the material Tab of a Request Work Task, but does not seem to work.It cant be added as a sales part in a contract line of a Request Contract as well.Can this somehow be used in anything else than a direct Customer Order?Thanks,

When user log in with ifsapp, then the application works properly. For specific user following permission set has been created and granted. For Notify me in, is there any sperate permission which needs to be granted?
Hi, I have a requirement which is to be able to trigger multiple surveys on MWO using the same Workflow Type. E.g have Survey 1 then Survey 2 then Survey 3 trigger on MWO after “Completed - After”. When I’ve tried this with the the surveys all assigned to the same step to trigger. MWO selects only one of the surveys to trigger which is not correct for my use case as I want ALL surveys to trigger one after another. Is there anyway to do this for with the Workflow Configuration Type = “Request Task”? (IFS Cloud 25R2) The workaround for this would be to create a main survey for Survey 1 and then Survey 2 and 3 as child surveys. Thought I’d check here in case there’s a better way.
We have recently upgrade to 25R2, and there are few screens added recently Service>Scheduling>Resources, Activities, Map, Assistance but unable to see any data in these screens.I can access the PSO and can see all the resources activities etc but these screens are blank.Any idea on the above, thanks!!
Hi All,It is possible to incomplete or cancel an assignment sent to mobile from Backoffice. Additionally, is there anyway to changing the status to other way? Any tricks?Use Case: Technician is working in offline area and started work. Due to the SLA requirement, the status of the work task should be changed to a status such as “On Route” or “Work Started”. However, since the technician is offline, the status is not updated simultaneously. The Backoffice cannot update the status since it is downloaded to the mobile.Does anyone have an idea on how to handle a situation like this? TIA.
Hello,While creating a calendar based PM Action with WO generation lead time, the ‘remaining to due’ field is including the weekends as well even though the Maintenance Calendar excludes weekends.For example: The start date in the maintenance trigger is set to 23/02/2026 and the WO generation lead time is set to 1. The expectation is the Due Date should be considered as 20/02/2026 and automatically generate the WO based on the database task scheduled which does not work.But in the Maintenance Plan, the remaining to due field shows the number of days as 3 including the weekends. If we have the WO generation lead time as 3, then I’m able to trigger the WO using database task. I believe the due date and remaining to due fields must exclude weekends as per the calendar but can someone please confirm if this is the expected behavior?
Hello,In IFS Cloud 25R2, when we remove the security group ‘ContactLists’ from the security grants by permission set for MWO permission, it should not display the ‘Contacts’ screen in MWO service. But even after removing the security group, the screen is still visible in MWO. This screen is unavailable in the Navigation designer. Is it a bug in 25R2, please let me know?
Hi All, I have an issue with adding Fixed Price sales parts to invoice preview after I adding them to a request scope.I’m using a fixed price price rule where everything related to request work task is charged with a fixed price sales part. Then, I need to add some additional sales parts to the scope via “Price Details” option in the request’s “Cost & Sales”. However, added sales parts are not appeared in the invoice preview. I tried with a different price rule and tried with adding sales parts in both Actual and Planning fixed prices. But, cannot get sales parts to invoice preview. Original sales part is only there. Any idea? I’m working in 25R2 environment. TIA.

Pool‑Keep: multiple users can accept the task; individual assignments are created and the task remains visible in the pool until explicitly removed.I am currently working on IFS Cloud 25R2 using the Maintenance MWO mobile app, and I am facing an issue where the Pool‑Keep functionality does not seem to work when a Resource Group (resource demand) is specified on the Work Task. In detail, when I define a Resource Group on the task, then select Transfer to Mobile and choose Pool – Keep Task, the task is correctly shown in the app as “resource group specified”, but as soon as one technician accepts the task, it immediately disappears from Pool Work and is no longer visible to other technicians. I am using the IFS MWO Service Classic App for Windows. When I press the button “Map position” for a specific task, the browser opens with the URL in the formathttps://www.bing.com/maps?sp=point.48.50457_9.16469_Location&lvl=16&cp=49.465179%7E11.020507&style=r But, this does not work for me. It does not center the map and I don’t get any pin. It would work for me if the URL is given in this form:https://www.bing.com/maps?q=48.50457,9.16469 Is this a bug, windows specific or can I adjust the format of the URL by myself?
Within the Workflow Configuration the fuction of “Mandatory” for Attachments seems to be not working.Expected results is when a workflow has select of “Mandatory” for attachments the Request should not be allowed to finish without an attachment.

Does anyone know if there is a specific setting that needs to be enabled for the “Map Position” to display the asset’s location instead of the user’s current location?Alternatively, is this a known behavior or possibly a bug in the desktop app?Thanks in advance for any insights!
We have 1200 Task Cards for a prototype work that we want to revise and update. Those Task Cards may have up to 20 subtasks. We have a problem that the Task Card ID it self now has the prototype ID in it. So we want to edit this text.In addition we want to be able to make revisions of a Task Card for other reasons also. The only way we’ve found to edit the Task Card ID is to duplicate the Task Card, leaving us with an almost empty Task Card, where we need to manually add all requirements, sign-offs and subtasks. And if we try to edit the Task Card, we aren’t allowed to edit the Task Card ID (understandable) or the Task Card Revision (?). We can change the Revision Date, but not the revision number. Are there any standard way to revise a Task Card, giving us a new Task Card with a new Revision Number? We are now considering data migration. Our version is 25R1.3. Br,Øystein
Hello,In earlier versions of IFS, it would prevent you from cancelling or incompleting work assignments in IFS, IF they existed on the engineers device (IFS MWO). This logic has been changed in IFS Cloud, and the functionality is now possible. However this then creates more issues in that we receive lots of failed transactions on a daily basis due to back office cancelling assignments when they are still on the IFS MWO app. Since IFS are unlikely to reverse the logic to enforce the validation again, I was wondering if anyone can provide guidance on the logic required to create our own custom event to prevent cancellation/incomplete in IFS Cloud, IF the assignment is still transferred to the engineer? Hi,We are using IFS Cloud notify me application, we found one issue regarding data synchorization. In IFS Cloud we don’t have open purchase requisiton lines to be approved, but in Notify me some authorized purchase order lines are still being showed. I reinstalled Notify me application and refresh the cache but both didn’t work.Anyone has the same experience and how can I fix the issue?Thanks.
Hello,I have two problems I cannot lay my finger on at my customers NEW cfg env.1. Why does mwo only shows my first created sales part in the offline db of mwo? “Item 5000”.I made a duplicate sales part from item “5000” named “7000” and that part is only online available. Same for item “6000” that I created NEW instead of duplicate.(not mentioned in the screenshots)2. when I quick issue stock on item 5000 there is no problem at all everything works fine, but when I try to issue item 7000 which I only can find when I press the button search online it gives me an error message that I don’t understand.(See screenshots) Both items in stock in Bus2Tried so far:More sales parts with the same settings as item 5000 spret over a couple of daysSecurity Groups granted to revoke and add all service-related setsClear server cacheDisconnect mwo app and initialize every stepSync now a couple of times for all sync rules Service appDisable and enable the Service app.Enabled and disable the workflow
Hi In the MWO Service App (Version:26.1.3375.0), the customer contact’s mobile number is not displayed, only office phone is displayed on the Work Task Details page, even though it is maintained in the Customer Master.Any guidance from the community would be greatly appreciated to help determine whether this behavior is expected by system design, or driven by configuration, or a known defect. Hi All,I tried to use region structure (parent and child) functionality to allocate resources to different regions. I thought if I add a resource to a parent region he will be visible in dispatch console when we filter for a child region as well. However, a resource can only be seen when we filter with that specific region only. I saw that region structure works in PSO and selection rules for contractors. Isn’t it working in dispatch console?TIA.
We have scheduled the Generate Rental Transaction task daily, Which create a Transaction on daily basis and insert 1 Cost/Sales line daily.Is it possible to aggregate the Qty on 1 Sales line rather than creating a line on with QTY 1 daily?
As I see in the rental functionality, We could not change the Start Rental or End Rental date in Rental Event History. Is there any possibility to make it editable and what would be the effect on financial posting if we make it happen as Rental Transactions are created daily in the system.
