Hi all,We have an issue with Non Inventory Purchases made from Work Orders.When the Non Inventory item is received, a Preliminary line is added to the Work Order with no associated financial transactions. When the Supplier Invoice is then received, the Preliminary cost is “Overtaken” - the M93 posting from the Supplier Invoice is replaced with TP3 postings.Our problem is that this only works if the Work Order is still open. In many cases, we close the Work Order prior to receiving the Supplier Invoice. Once the Work Order is closed, the overnight job to “Transfer Reposting Transactions” then runs, which results in the “Finally Posted” tickbox being ticked on the Work Task Transaction. When the Supplier Invoice is then received, the M93 posting is triggered as usual, but no TP3 posting occurs.I had hoped to reopen the Work Order and “Remove Finally Posted”, but this errors due to the status of the Work Task Transaction being “Overtaken” and not “Transferred”. Hi,My company is very new to MWO and unfortunately we have very limited understanding on Failed Transactions. I am stuck on an error that we receive quite often from various users. I have turned sync trace on for some users to see if i can capture the process steps that cause it but still not understanding. What does this mean:If i look at the Task No, the assignment does exist, for the same user that has generated this error so i have no idea what it means and therefore how to resolve.Can you help please? Thanks, 

 Can you please explain how incompleting/canceling the multiple visit assignment will impact PSOScenario 1:We have transferred work to the mobile via PSO, in a way that  creates multiple visits. Then from mobile start work. Then the mobile user needs to incomplete the work. Then the current visit will be incompleted and remaining will be cancelled.Did not create new work from mobile at incomplete.Q1: Can you please explain how this remaining work should be re-planned from PSO? 

We are on Apps10 IEE, UPD9, fairly recently upgraded from Apps8.The inability to revise an ‘Accepted’ quote from Service Quotation is presenting quite an issue for us.Once the Estimate has been ‘Accepted’, there is no way to create a revision. This has been confirmed by IFS multiple times and we’ve received no communication that they have a plan to change this in the future in Apps10. Has anyone found a workaround for this restriction? Secondary issue, not having a Work Task or Work Order until ‘Accepted’ is creating multiple issues for us as well. Anyone happen to have run into the same issue and found a reasonable solution/workaround?Thanks.

Hello All,Can anyone advise how, if at all possible, to remove a contained serial object without deleting the whole record and starting again? This is only needed when a mistake is made, however I can not find a way to remove the ‘Belongs to Object’ once it has been saved. 

What Aurena Projection does MWO (Service) use when the media item is uploaded, viewed, and deleted? 

I’m having an issue when trying to install the Scan It app and the Account Manager.  I have an on-premise system running IFS 10 Update 8. Using Android, I am downloading the Scan It App, Barcode scanner, and then Account Manager to my scanner gun.  When I start Scan It, it tells me I don’t have the account manager installed do you want to download it.  I already have IFS Account Manager installed. I’ll download it, and it’s prompting me to enter a Cloud URL and when I enter my TAS URL it’s unable to connect. Has anyone run into this before and if so, what was the resolution?  It’s almost like Scan It doesn’t recognize the Account Manager version hosted on my TAS and wants me to download a newer version.  The new version looks like it’s for Aurena.

Is it possible to split Non-Inventory cost price lines. As an example, we use NI-2000 for labour hours and NI-2001 for travel time.Some contracts might cover 4 hours travel and up to 10 hours travel. And any further is booked on the Work Order, it will automatic be excluded from the Service Contract?If possible, where can we add this? Thank you,Michael

Hey,Is there any way of limiting what data is visible in MWO Service 10. For example, we have a long list of Work Types but only a small selection are applicable to the Engineers on MWO Service 10 so would like to ‘hide’ the other work types to ensure they are not incorrectly used. Thanks, 

Hi Community, We occasionally received the below failed transaction and I’m just curious to know why another user will remove “Work Assignment” without letting the other user know about it. This kind of failed transaction is caused by the system? Or how do we know which user removed the work assignment?Failed TransactionERRINV: ORA-20115: JtExecutionInstance.The "Work Assignment" has already been removed by another user.Thanks Mesh 

Hello all,Pardon if this subject is incorrect or wrong Sub forum, this is my first post.We are still in Apps9 and fairly new in IFS still. We have a structure setup Parent ID → Child ID → serialized items. But when we try to add a serialized item we often get the error message “Functional Object No () can not be change because Serial Status is not in “In Facility”, “Contained”, “In RepairWorkshop” og “In Inventory”.Part Owership states “Customer Owned” which is correct. But we need to be able to keep track of the items under the parent Object ID.Is there a way we can link the Serial Objects to a Parent Object, even with “Ownership” being Customer Owned? Thank you,Michael

I have scheduled a Seperate PM Action so that we do it once per year. As I set Valid From to a date one year back, the system created two work orders, wich is correct as two of the dates have passed.However, I decided to cancel the Work Order for previous year as we are going to do the maintenance now (wich is the second created work order). Now when I look in Mainenance Plan Analysis it still shows both work orders. Is there an easy way to not show work orders that have been canceled? Option:Is there a way to open a cancelled scheduled maintenance work order and set Actual Finish date to the same day as the work order was canceled?

We added a custom field for work orders in the mobile app. How do we get that field to show up for all mobile users? Does it require an initialization or a profile push?

I have developed 3 lobby elements for the Customer 360 Context Lobby Pane.  I would like all those in my organization the ability to see these elements when viewing the Customer 360 screen but no one can except me.How do I make these elements visible in the Context Pane to all users.

While initializing, two of our users received the message “Sync process is failing”. How do we stop the app from continuing to initialize when the message is displayed? We are using IFS 9.  

We found that when parts are received into inventory in IFS (via Register PO Arrivals) instead of receiving on the mobile app, those parts don’t show in the user’s inventory in the mobile app.  Does anyone know why? Is there a way to “correct it” so the stock does show in the mobile app for the user? We are using IFS 9

Hi All.Could someone help with the situation that I created a Workflow Configuration but after sync it’s not working.Running apps10 UPD14, mwo maintenance 10. One thing I have noticed after investigation is that as I query the views, the site access is not visible linked to the configuration seq field. Please take a look in the prints. In the WORKFLOW_CFG_FILTER view, the workflow ID is there, but in access not. Am I missing someting thing or it looks like a BUG?tks a lot   

What does it mean when there is a warning in the mobile app sync log? Does it mean that the data didn’t sync? We are using IFS 9.  

In Aurena, in the technician portal I see unassigned tasks as tasks with resource group I belong to. Is there a way around this? Can we show unassigned tasks using the team that’s connected to the task instead of the resource group? 

Has anyone had any performance issues with Maintenance Surveys (eforms) for mWO Service 10.  We have some survey that take well over 60 seconds just to open and this was on a windows client.  We are using mWO Service 10 v1.6
