Hi All, Is there a way to add a location to work (New Work) in MWO.I need to create a work but the location is different to my current location. If we try with Create Map Position or Update Map Position, the current location of the mobile is retrieved. Is there any way to give a different location (coordinates or address) to a work? TIA.

One user is getting this error when navigating from Lobby element to Return Material Authorization Lines view. Other users with similar permissions will not get error. He can anyway then search on that view without getting any more errors. Error disappear if personal profile is disabled. If personal profile is enabled but emptied error comes back. So deleting personal profile did not help, only disabling it. Any ideas what else could be done to get rid of this error? 

Hello everybody! The customer requests that the marked field in the attached screenshot should have another background color, as the field is Mandatory (we’ve already set the field as Mandatory, but a visual impact would be nice to have). Has anybody done this? Hi Experts,If I setup a bucket resource, I am not getting ‘Company Settings’ tab in the resource. Hence, I am not able to make a bucket resource a MWO user. Is this the design thinking behind bucket resources when it comes to MWO ?. Or is there any other way to make a bucket resource using MWO ? IFS Cloud “Service Contract” page has a command button called “Refresh Lobby Data”. What is the intent of this button? When users create Customer Invoices connected to service contracts (either via Service Contract Invoice plan or Work Order specific sales invoices), how is this revenue updated to the system (Analysis for Servce Contract page) so that one can see it from the page charts? I’ve generated customer invoices but the Service Contract analysis “revenue” graphs will not react to this in any way. It seems that the analysis page uses a IFS Lobby element called REVENUE TYPE ANALYSIS, which is a standard lobby element managed by IFS RnD

Hi,I’m getting the below error when downloading objects to mobile device on mWO (Service Engineer). What permissions should I grant to the users to get pass this? They already can see objects that were on the tasks sent to them.  

Hi, We use mWO (service engineer) quite extensively and have had lots of issues recently with our techs’ app crashing often (with the latest update), not syncing, having to re-login often, random errors as well. If the app is not reset after an app update, it was behaving erratically too. I’m just considering using Tech Portal instead of mWO app? Has anyone else swiched from mWO to Tech Portals? Would love some feedback. Or anyone who has been using the Tech Portals for a while. I believe the biggest difference will be losing the offline capability with mWO. TIA

Hi, I’m currently pursuing MWO training. I have completed 3days trainings till now. I followed the entire training and practiced simultaneously I created 2 apps Phonebook and WorkOrder App I’m able see the page in cloud and there are no errors as well but I’m getting Sync Error/initialization error  in the Application. You might say there might be some coding errors for the phonebook app Iwhich i did from scratch but for the WorkOrder app I just deployed the shared resources from the academy and followed all steps and as per the training I should be able to see it in the Mobile dev Application but initialization is failing Also, the workspace is in version 23R1, but I could not find 23R1 Mobile Application there is only 24R2 so I’m using that could this be a reason. I am trying to finish a work order but not possible due to the error”Work Order has an active Requisition . Remove requisition to continue”. Upon checking the requisition it seems the requisition is deleted and not available. Is there a work around in closing this work order?

We are in IFS 10 update 22. We are working in the IEE client but I am working on setting up some in Aurnea as well. I am running into an issue with updating the actual object ID on work tasks. We have two companies and three sites. My company 20 has two sites - 210 and 215. I am trying to update the Actual object ID to a serial object out in the field once we figure out which one it is. IEE does not let me update the Actual Object Site at all - or search for the other site. My work order site is even 215, but it will not allow me to update. Work task with site 215 reported object 210. Hello Community,I am looking to use the Request Work Task screen in IFS Cloud because I am trying to get data transferred to MWO. When I go to create a new request, I am unable to select any Request Scope.  Is there somewhere this needs to be setup first or a different screen I should accessing to get to this page? I am just looking to get data setup so that it can be seen in MWO. I have gone through the Demystified PDF but haven’t found a clear set of instructions. Thanks, 

Hey everyone, We have come across an issue where whenever we attempt to add an attachment to the work task via selecting the file in the file explorer the app crashes. This happens to both android and windows (and likely ios, but I am not able to test).Whenever the attachment is added by using the pc/phone camera the crash does not happen and the image is successfully attached.Tried looking at Logs, mobile logs, failed transactions, transactions, sync traces but none of them have any mention of what could have caused the crash. The ifs cloud version is 24r1 and I have already tried reinstalling IFS MWO Service app to ensure I’m on the latest version.Any ideas on what could cause this?After clicking open the application crashes.

Hi Experts,I wanted to setup contacts so that they appear in mobile client (under main menu ‘Contacts’). I am trying to figure out the behavior of application parameter CONTACT_LIST_TYPE which has 3 values (service organization, Company and Site).If I refer to help docs it says(for option ‘Service organization’) I should have a contact list in service organization, but I could not find such list in service organizations or in its delivery units? (can it be the access group? I tried but not). In this test I got few contacts synced, but cannot figure out a particular pattern (all my resources are in one resource group and that resource group is a primary resource group. All of them are connected to same service organization and same site)Then I check option ‘company’, I get some contacts synced (different to above test) to the device, but none of them register in company as contacts (not even in addresses). If I use option ‘Site’, I did not get any contacts synced.Can someone explain thi

Dear Community,We are currently using IFS 9 and have encountered an issue with the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system regarding the visibility of semi-finished products. We have semi-finished products, such as PCB boards, that are repaired by our repair department. These products are then frozen in inaccessible locations to prevent them from being picked for production. As a planner, I do not want to see these incompatible pieces in my planning view, but I would like the MRP system to recognize them as available inventory. This is to avoid generating unnecessary demand and the need to order additional components for these products. I have created a new Availability Control ID “FROZEN(BLOCKED)” and set it as Nettable. However, the issue with making it Nettable is that these items are still visible to the planner, which I want to avoid.  We need a solution that allows the MRP system to see these semi-finished products as available inventory without generating additional demand.

 We have customer Apex Clean Energy that requires setting up multiple companies and sites for windfarms, battery farms, etc. They are very much in need of being able to mass load a lot of functional objects into an equipment structure along with technical attributes, about 4 times per year. Curious if you or your team have any “tools” or suggested methods that could facilitate. The are not implementing “Service Objects”, only Functional and perhaps Serial Objects.The customer has tried using DMM and thought about using FNDMIG to do this frequent load but the customer has determined that both those methods are not efficient or are labor intensive.What other options have you developed to fulfill the needs of migrating the object, attributes and object structures from an external source?  A workflow? Perhaps a standalone integration program to accomplish these tasks?Thank you in advance!

Can Mobile work order user see NCR in MWO?I have created a work task and attached a NCR in to a work task step.When the task is transferred to Mobile, can technician see the connected NCR in MWO. Do we need to setup any object connection setup in cloud? I cannot find any documentation around NCR visibility on MWO.I'm using IFS MWO for Maintenance. 

We have recently moved to cloud and our maintenance dept used to rely on the Journal on the Prepare Work Order (in Aurena 10 and in IEE) to show them who did what on a work order. This said, we cannot find the Journal button now. Did IFS get rid of this or move it to another screen? Please see my screenshot below. We are on IFS Cloud 24R1 SU5. Aurena Apps 10 Cloud (Journal not available in selector) 

Hi All,I have introduced a new custom tile to IFS MWO Service via a modification.I would like to position this tile as the last tile of the page but I cannot.Tried with sortorder = 9 and sortorder = 15 but looks like FW does not care about sortorder in the Navigator entry and it positions the tile as fifth tile.Any thoughts on how to change this tile position?
