Hi All,Created Event Definitions and Event Reasons are not appeared in MWO app when Task Event is being added.  Tried to add an manual event via “Add Task Event”No events can be created since nothing comes for the “Event” and “Event Reason.” Those are created in the web and connected via “Event Entity Configurations”.  Any possible reasons?TIA.

Hello community,We have configured NotifyMe as per Technical Documentation in IFS Cloud 23R2.Customer is using the default app parameters including the HUB URL for notifications. Permission Sets are configured properly and assigned to the user.  Database Processes are also working. But, Send Notification is also not sending the notification even though the BG Job completes without errors. However, when the mobile user registers the device (Windows/iOS/Android), we cannot see the ‘Push Enabled’ option for any user in the IFS Cloud > Installed Apps / Devices. In the app DB Viewer, we see below, not sure if it helps. We have ch

I have multiple documents that needs to be attached to multiple customers. Is there a way to add in bulk to all required customers or is the only way to go to each customer record individually and add the document attachment?

We are currently using Apps 10 Upd 18.  All of our techs utilize mWO Service 10.  We were about to start the process of implementing Work Task Templates to a large scale to standardize our services and quotations.  However, in early testing, it was discovered that we are only given the opportunity to add a single work task template to a quotation while using mWO.  After that, we are able to add additional “raw” work tasks, but never a work task template.This severely limits our ability to go this route.  If we could add multiples, we would be able to keep the individual templates relatively basic services for example Replace Belts, Replace Coolant, Replace Water Pump, etc.  For each of those, the techs would add whichever ones they want and move on.With this limitation in mind though, we would need to create Work Task Templates with multiple Work Lists on them in varying combinations.  This will force us to create a higher quantity as well as a higher complexity o

I've followed the steps outlined in the documentation, but I'm still able to access records that should be filtered out.Here's what I've done:Created a PSF: I've defined a simple filter with the following WHERE clause: &AO.PART_NO <> '120150' This should restrict access to records in the ServiceEngApp >PartSerialCatalog entity where the PART_NO is not '120150'. Granted the PSF to an Activity: I've added the PSF to the relevant activity that grants access to the PartSerialCatalog entity. Hi, We are using apps10 update 22. When creating new work (option #3) in MWO, object-id is not showing on the task in My Work, it is needed to initialize the app to make it show. If we click on the task and look at object information, the object-id is showing correctly at the bottom of the page.Is this a known bug, or does it only happen for us? I believe this started to happen after updating to 22.Any help is appreciated.  

I am working on an upgrade project from APP9 to Cloud. We use stand alone work orders. Today we have a MOD to track the part number and serial number as it’s received and as it’s shipping out with custom fields that also update the object ID. We are looking to get rid of MODs for the upgrade. We are also looking to use the rename functionality on the part serial screen. However, the part serial must be in inventory in order to change. How are users handling tracking part and serial changes? Are they waiting until the part serial is in stock and using part serial rename? And there isn’t good visibility on the work order to see what the part and serial were when they arrived compared to what they are when they are returned to the customer? 

Hello, Could you please give me advice? I have problem with Additional views, I created new CF in Entity PurchaseOrderLine, but when I run it it says that “The column vendor_part_no refered to in table t is not an approved persistent Custom Attribute”, but in additional views I edit switch toggle button in all entities which has OBJKEY available. This column is located in PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE_ALL which is switched on in toggle switch. Thanks for your advices

I have a question that >>>> When an attachment (document object) in current LU (LU-2) is inherited (sourced) from another LU (LU-1) through an Object Connection Transformation, the attachment in the LU-2 does not appear in a new LU (LU-3) when the OCT has been configured for LU-2 and LU-3. The attachments originally attached to the LU-2 is successfully transferred to LU-3. Is this how the functionality works (limitation ?) ? Actually, the requirement is to transfer the attachments in the ShopOrderOperation LU (for outside operations where a purchase order is connected) to PurchaseOrderLinePart LU. For that, there is an in-built (system-defined) OCT. It works for attachments attached to the ShopOrderOperation LU itself. But, there are attachments inherited from other OCTs (from InventoryPart, EngPartRevision, etc), and these are not transferring to the PO line with that OCT setup. Hi,In one of our customer environments, there are more than 200 steps in most of the work tasks. Each step has a unique object. While working on a step, if we navigate to the object of the step, we end up in the first step when we come back to the steps page. Is there a way to return to the same step technician has been working. We are on Cloud 24R1.Thanks. 

Hi All, Can somebody provide some more details on how to use (and track) the use of subcontractors as resources on Work Orders? Practical example: - A Work Order requires 6 resources to be on-site for 1 day on Nov 2nd. The resources don’t need any spcial skills, they are all part of the same Resource Group.  - The planner checks availability for that day and sees that the company only has 4 people available on that day - The planner decides to hire 2 external people from a subcontractor that they work with on regular basis. So we need to send a Maintenance Purchase Requisition to our Subcontractor who will be our Supplier. So we set up our Non-Inventory Sales part for ‘Contract Labour’, we make a Purchase part ‘Contract Labour’, we define the Supplier for Purchase Part etc…With all that info, the Maintenance Purchase Requisition can be made and sent out. Hi,We have the below Clean Up Touch Apps Logs scheduled task and it has executed successfully.But when mobile device logs are extracted, there are records more than a year ago: Does this mean the scheduled task has not executed properly? Or is this task meant to clear some other set of logs?Is there a way to automatically clear device logs? Thank you!

Hi all,I have a question regarding "Update map Position". When a technician updates the map position, the current position is updated in the app as the object location. Is it also synchronized to the back office as the object location? As per the description of the help documents, I understand it that way. But, the MapPositions in the object in the back office was not updated when I tried. Is it only for that task?Any idea on this?  Cheers.

Hi IFS Community ! Seeking your advice please. Currently we have the IFS app for ios but this is only for the company’s internal employees. Is there a way for us to publish IFS app to our subcontractors (external) who provide service on customer sites, so they can access IFS mobile app on ios to complete the surveys on tasks being assigned.Though I raised a support ticket, was directed to the community so your expertise can help with any answers.Thanks in advanceMadhu

Hi all, We are on Cloud 23.2 and on latest mWO service engineer Android app. Recently a lot of our techs complaining about the app not getting the jobs sent to them, parts turning up the next day, etc. I’m just wondering if it could be the Android settings that puts the app to sleep or kill it off while in the background to save resources. For instance, my test device has selected the below by default. Does that mean the data won’t sync to the device? What are the Android permission settings etc that we should set in order for the app to work optimally (but also not draining the battery)? TIA
