We recently deployed the IFS Cloud 25R2 upgrade to our environment. Post-deployment, we noticed that our default mail sender settings in IFS Connect (MAIL_SENDER1) appear to have changed or reset.I want to understand the standard behavior of the 25R2 installer regarding IFS Connect sender templates:Does the 25R2 deployment automatically restore MAIL_SENDER1 back to its default core values? What is the best practice to ensure our custom mail sender parameters are not affected during major release deployments?Any insights from anyone who has experienced this during their 25R2 upgrade would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,We have a customer currently running three Alliance servers, all three configured according to the "Configuring your Astea Alliance Cache" documentation. All three are declared in the Cache / Hosts section of the global.xml, etc.We now want to add a fourth server to this configuration. This server will act as a DSE server, and we do not want it to be part of the caching system.Could you confirm the following is correct: we do not add this machine's IP address to the Cache / Hosts section of global.xml, and on this machine we stop the Astea Cache Monitoring Service and the Astea Cache Service? (We will of course also check the Redis / Sentinel configuration files to make sure they are consistent.)Thanks in advance,Christophe

Hi everyone,Has anyone encountered the following error when using the Copy Supplier function in the Supplier module?Field [INCENTIVE_AREA] in Supplier Tax Info may not be specified for new objects. We are using 25R2 SU2.I would appreciate any advice or guidance on the possible cause and how to resolve this issue. Thank you.

With IFS Cloud, clients can access the system without needing a Windows-based device, which is a great flexibility benefit. However, for developers, the use of Developer Studio still requires a Windows operating system. This means it cannot be used on macOS devices.Given that Developer Studio is based on NetBeans, which is a cross-platform application, it shouldn't be technically difficult for IFS to provide a macOS-compatible version. Offering such support would significantly enhance the development experience and flexibility for Mac users. Is there any plan or roadmap for this?

Has the issue been reported and is there a fix?Cloud 25.2.3Create Quicksight reports.  Report Definitions now exists.Run Refresh Server Cache/ReportALL Quicksight reports are deleted.  There is nothing in IFS Cloud or the report_defintion or the report_sys_tab.

Hi, We are looking for a way to create a simple forecast and based on that plan the supplies. The version is IFS Cloud 25R2.The actual demands (COs) of the finished goods for next 3 months can be taken as firm, however the demands beyond that are unconfirmed so forecasts can be setup. There are components with long lead times so better start planning for those in advance, based on a forecast. It is understood that Master Scheduling functionalities would come handy in this. The main concern is, moving the business to plan using Master Scheduling is a considerable change of practice, and might not be feasible with the go-live plans at the moment. Do we have a way to simply enter a forecast in IFS Cloud (not using MS) and plan the rest using MRP ?

Hi together,we are currently in an Upgrade Project to 22R2 and we want to migrate Notes. We found the topic Job migration of Business Opportunity - Note issue | IFS Community but when we enter the method BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY_API.Write_Note_ in the Method List of the Mig Job we get the following error. So we checked the API in PL/SQL Developer and saw that the datatype for rowid_ is ROWID. This seems wrong.Does anybody have the same issue? Do you know how to fix that error? Thanks in Advance for any help!Best regards,Andreas

Hi Experts,This is about Request Quotation not sure I am missing something here.Once a Request Quote is created I cannot edit the lines where this is possible in standard Service Quotation. It should be possible to edit lines in the Quote like adding more Discount, change Prices, invoicing Qty, adding more lines etc but I dont see this is possible in Request Quote compared to ServiceSee below that I cannot EDIT the line? But no Service Quote this is possible, we can add, Edit lines etc Is there a way we can update Request Quotation details, there should be right? Thanks,KM

Hi ,Prevailing wage can be enabled for a work order through the job rate management tab in prepare work order window. However, this is not available in Request Detail page. Does anyone have an idea on how job rate management can be integrated with Request labor rates. Thanks,Nethmini

I would like to ask whether there is a way to control material issues for Material Requisitions and Shop Orders separately.Currently, we would like to achieve the following:・Allow material issues based on Material Requisitions from a specific storage location.・Prevent material issues based on Shop Orders from the same storage location. We have reviewed the Part Availability Controls functionality; however, it appears that this setting controls both Material Requisition issues and Shop Order issues in the same manner. Is there any alternative method, configuration, or functionality that would allow these two processes to be controlled independently?

Hello,Ubuntu 20.04 is nearing end of Support (By 2025 April). Does anyone know whether there are plans to have a more latest Ubuntu version (22.04/24.04) for the Upcoming Cloud releases starting from IFS Cloud 24R2?Thanks

Hello to all,Under EE in IFS APPS10, we had the possibility to access directly to the history log of a particular screen by doing a CTRL+F9.What is the equivalent in cloud? Is there a button? Thank you!

Is there a way to mark in the customer order line the parts that get sold to a specific service object? There is the Superior SM Object ID which triggers the creation of a Service Object and creation of the Object Hierarchy, however so far I could not get non-serial parts to simply appear underneath the object selected in the section: Service Object → Service Information → Parts Used This would really make sense to have it there as well, as not all parts are always being sold through a Request. Some are being sold through a Customer Order CheersN

Hi,We recently upgraded from Apps10 to Cloud 24R1. We have a requirement to set some fields on the Work Task’s Report Time screen to ‘Not Editable’ so that users cannot modify default values.I am fairly familiar with Page Designer and have done this on other screens but it doesn’t seem like I can get to this page within the context. Would this be because it is an assistant? Is there any where in the context where the properties of these fields can be modified? Thanks for any info you can provide.Lorraine

In Apps10 it is possible to assign an unassigned company to your user account or others (of course granted you have the permissions) But in IFS Cloud, if the company is not assigned to your ID you cannot assign it to your ID or to others unless you have the ADMINISTRATOR privilege. Is there another way to do this without assigning the ADMINISTRATOR privilege?

Hii,I’m struggling to find where the text shown below is defined in the IFS application. The text appears to be coming from the section shown below:Could someone please help me identify where this text is stored or defined in the system, and how I can locate it?

Hi All, in 25.2.2 I’m trying to use the Scan Delivery Note functionality.https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/25r2/lang/en/?openpage=https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/25r2/lang/en/Receipt/AboutScanDeliveryNote.htmIt all goes well until I try to finish the process when I get the error message that DOC_CLASS is mandatory. There is no field to set Doc_Class. I also looked into Document Default Values / Object Properties / System Params looking for a  way to define a default doc_class for the scan delivery note functionality.@Mathias Dahl do you have hints on this? Could this be a bug?Below are the steps to reproduce this:Step 1 - attach a PDF - delivery note - there is no field for DOC_CLASS that can be filled Step2 - The data is read correctly from the PDF: Step3 - Finish - error message:error comes from below projection call:projection/v1/ScanDeliveryNote.svc/CreateAndConnectDocPayload:LuName: "ExtDispatchAdvice"KeyRef: "DELNOTE_NO=test^MESSAGE_ID=737^"PL/SQL function:Scan_Delivery_Note_S

Has anyone added a lobby page as a navigation from a page in cloud 22r2?I am trying to add Customer360 as a custom button from case but I do not see the customer 360 page in the navigation link drop down

In 22R1 there is a new concept introduced to identify equipment object, key will be “Equipment Object Sequence”. Object can be moved from one site to another, also to another company. What appears to be not possible is to change Object ID. I am currently in project where the Object ID itself tells in which process facility etc. the object is located and therefore they are constantly (in their legacy system) changing the Object Identification. The object ID could change from e.g. 10-22-45-67-11 => 10-22-44-67-11. There is of course a unique ID in the background, similar to Equipment Object Sequence.  Once we now have a new key, Equipment Object Sequence, does it make easier or even practically possible to make modification that would allow to change the Object ID?  Is that kind of functionality in the requirements backlog? Viewing the location in functional hierarchy in equipment object navigator has been proposed, but the problem is that it does not show the parent structure of give
