Hi,we would like to report the picking via the REST API in the shipping process. (I know how the API basically works and we have already been able to implement other interfaces with it). As we often have shipping processes with more than 100 parts and do not pick them in one day, we would like to confirm the picking item by item. This works in the web interface via ‘Report Picking of Pick List Lines’: When I display the history in the ‘Log Window’, ‘ReportPickingOfPickListLines.svc/FndTempLobs’ is called up. Here I cannot enter the line, article, location, lot or quantity. It is unclear to me how IFS works at this point.I then looked at the functionality for the mobile scanners (Warehouse Data Collection):You have to confirm each step individually, which is too much for us. That's why we want to simplify the whole process for the user via the REST API. But again, I don't understand the REST API. For example, ‘WarehouseDataCollectionHandling.svc/ScanningClientVirtualSet(Objkey=’2311377A

Hi everyone,I’m working in the namespace and the pods are getting IPs in the 10.1.x.x range. This is causing some connectivity issues with other services. ifs-db-init-cjp5g                                               10.1.204.235ifs-virus-scanner-7698b7994c-q2g2w        10.1.204.228ifsapp-am-workqueue-7d895cf959-ps29f  10.1.204.252ifsapp-amm-55cd5bb94b-dmwth                 10.1.204.251 Does anyone have advice or experience on how to safely change the pod IP range to a different subnet (like `10.14.x.x`)? Any tips or best practices would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi All, In standard Work Orders, we have the possibility to create a ‘new Service Quotation’ from the WO. In that way, the customer can agree to the work before we start the work and there is no discussion when invoicing them later on. Does the same functionality exist for a “New Repair RMA”? We have a customer where a customer initiates a RMA process by reporting a fault, the RMA is created and the Equipment is sent back into a QA location. And inspection is done and we define the parts/resources that need to be done in order to repair the Equipment (all of it is logged into the Repair Bench).  But before we actually start repairing, we want to sent a quotation to the customer explaining the details of the repair and the price associated with the repair. Ideally, the applicable sales part lines from the Repair Bench would be copied to that quotation. Best RegardsRoel

Hello everyone,To run a BPA from an API, I have been using this URL for a while:main/ifsapplications/projection/engine-rest/process-definition/key/BPA_NAME/startAnd in the body of the API, I pass it the property:“withVariablesInReturn”: trueThis allows me to directly retrieve all the variables used in the workflow in the API return. However, I have noticed that this no longer works beyond SU6 in 25R1.Have you encountered this issue?Thank you.Theo

24R2, In PSO/Audit/Load/Input Reference Appointment window Durations is showing as 54 Days. how is this calculating. In Scheduling Dataset, Scheduling working days is ‘4’ and Appointment Working Days is ‘38’

I’m having trouble triggering a workflow from a projection call. When a button is clicked in Aurena, it launches an API call in batch mode — for example, when creating a customer order line or closing a period.  However, I can’t find the specific call within the batch process to link it to my workflow. Does anyone have any ideas or guidance on this? Same issue when creating a customer order line.  Thank you for your help. @kamnlk @dsj any help would be appretiated :)

Hi I am trying to enable the subscription functionality for the document revision page. Idea is that I want to receive notification when the status of the document revision is changed. I can do this per document revision but I am trying to enable it for the entire page. So I dont have to do it one by one.Anyone know how we can achieve this in IFS? Thanks,Chamath

We want to use IFS Cloud for a dashboard display, but it automatically logs out after a period of inactivity, requiring us to log in again. Is there a way to keep it always online?

Hi,We have setup docman  in a new cloud environment and customer migrated all of his documents over to new drive as well. After the new setup, customer can attach new documents and can review old documents without any issue.Questions When we check the File Storage, all documents are going in one folder ‘DocMan’ in the folder newly created and customer wants to save documents in different folders like below. Any documentation on how we can do a setup using File Storage repository type that fulfills customer requirements?     2. When examining the document names within the folder, they appear in an unreadable format. How can we store them in a manner that is readable and easily understood? Many thanks for your inputs on this issue.Best regards,Uvini

Hi,When IFS Cloud sends an outgoing message to a 3rd party system, an Application Message is generated which contains an External Message ID identifier. This is a GUID which we believe is generated by IFS:Can someone advise me when this is created? Is it when the application message is first created? If so, can it be added to the outgoing payload either as a parameter or a header on that message? We would like to catch this ID and store it somewhere so that, should the message need to be replayed (due to a failure for example), then we have a method of finding it easily and resending it via standard IFS Connect. Thanks

Hi all,It's regarding, how to get Logged-In User Id in Workflow.I have successfully fetched the Logged-In User Id with single block workflow (Thanks @dsj for guiding). However, workflow returns the null value with same script when adding another block to read ApprovalRouting data. I noticed another behaviour as well. If I test workflow just after validating the BPMN for Workflow Command, sometime randomly it works. @dsj will appreciate your input.

Hello,  it is possible to add two types of SQL views into one report designer? For example, In default quick report it will display INVENTORY_PART view, and when I will click on button it will show RECEIPT_INFO view.

Those of you who are actively managing subcon work in IFS; have you figured out a way to control the release of PR’s upon release of a shop order? Our subcon PR’s release the moment a Shop order is created, however the subcon portion on a routing may not come up for a week or two. Is there a way to control the release/unrelease of the subcon on the operation no?  I’m guessing it might have something to do with Outside OP Supply Type, but I am not sure you can stop it by changing it. Thanks.

Hello Community,Does anyone share how to use the following functionality. And is there any ifs technical document to setup this?   With Best Regards,Jewel Parvez

Hi all,Here the data is extracted from company1 and migrated to company2 with new project_id and activity_seq updated in the source data file to input to the migration job  (say project_id1, activity_seq1 in company1, the new data file will have project_id2, activity_seq2 for company2) I use a FNDMIG job to migrate the purchase_order_line_part  for Loram. In the first migration, I remove the project_id and activity_seq fields from source mapping. No migration errors. The row was inserted. But the project_id1 and insert it in code_c field in purchase_order_line_part. And that was wrong and it should take project_id2.Anyone has thoughts on why this is happening and how to resolve this situation?Any clue or advice is much appreciated!. Thank you!

In ifs cloud search on pages, when typing in a part number on Eng Part or Inv Part it will let users type 5 numbers and then exits the box. Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?  If so, what is the fix??Wondering if it is some kind of setting on the pages or in the search box?  I can’t find anything specific though CoPilot and Claude have some good info on the subject. :-/

Hello,Where can I configure the automatic addition of a group when a document is added for a specific class, for example please?

Hi all,I'm trying to attach a file (PDF) to a Purchase Requisition through REST APIs in IFS Apps 10, using Postman for manual testing before moving to code. I've identified CreateAndImportDocument.svc as the right projection (confirmed by inspecting Aurena's network traffic), but I'm stuck on the file upload step. What works so far:Calling the CreateDocument action successfully creates a document header:  POST {baseUrl}/CreateAndImportDocument.svc/CreateDocumentContent-Type: application/json{ "DocClass": "900", "Title": "Test Attachment", "CreateFileRef": "TRUE"}Response returns the new keys:  json{ "DocClass": "900", "DocNo": "1000109", "DocSheet": "1", "DocRev": "A1"}Where I'm stuck:After creation, querying EdmFileSet for the new document returns an empty array:  GET {baseUrl}/CreateAndImportDocument.svc/EdmFileSet?$filter=DocNo eq '1000109' and DocClass eq '900'→ { "value": [] }I tried several values for CreateFileRef (TRUE, true, Y, 1, a filename) — none of them produced a fi
