We are trying to export into Excel a report that shows the multiple level of parts that are in the structures on the “Complete Where Used” screen, see example below: The levels can be complex as one part number can have several layer deep. Is there a standard IFS report that can show this information or would a complex SQL report need to be written? We are on IFS Apps 9, update 16. Thanks,Mark

Hi everybody! I have a problem with setting the expiration date of the inventory part in stock. In my work, we have some items the quality department need to change the expiration date label when they are near to the due date. for example, we have a tank the expire in two days but a person have to go to that tank and see one by one are going to expire to begin a process of maintenance and put a new label with new due date. so, we want to put the expiration date of the tank on IFS and when the due date is near, we know which of them need to have a new label instead of going to search tank by tank by ourselves.
Hi all,There is a problem I’m struggling to find whether it’s a bug or due to some setting in the application.Scenario is below. When a shop order operation is started in SFW from Start Shop Order, and then without performing Stop Production, and performing Approve Operation for that shop order operation, the labor hours is not captured for that operation. When approving the operation, the Labor Time is ticked, and the Stop Clockings is also ticked, so as I understand, previously started clocking should be stopped automatically, and planned labor hours should be reported. But, I can see in the Operation statistics that, only the time from that start to stop (0.02) has been posted. If the approve operation is done after performing the stop production (after staring production), all the planned labor hours plus the time between start - stop production us captured. Any idea why it happens ? Is it a bug ? Or is it due to some setting.Below is the setting in the work center.I have checked the s

In reviewing the Rules for Shop Order Backflush help doc, it shows the order of priority in the various methods, however one of the lines states: if the part’s manufacturing attributes allow backflush from All Locations, then all Picking locations are searched. The question is, in what order are picking locations searched? When I have multiple locations which have a part to be backflushed in the needed quantity how can I predict the location from which inventory will be consumed? The same question exists for floor stock.

I receive the following message when I attempt to enable to feature.Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,We have this reason repeating many times in the application messages when importing a file for production material issues from measurement equipment. Is sounds like there is some background job that is recalculating costs frequently, but we have not scheduled it so can it be something IFS Application is by standard running? We need to restart these and it cause problems every day and it is almost always on this particular material. Could it be some setup on the part that is wrong?Thankful for some good input. Regards,Marika Solgård-Olli
