Hello Community!Is it possible to import employee salary expenses from the HCM module to the Business Planning module?If so, what is the correct system setup in both the HCM and Business Planning modules to ensure the salary information is transferred to Business Planning?Currently, we are able to import the headcount but not the salary information. VAT recovery on car lease payments is restricted to 50% of the VAT charged if there is private use of the vehicle. Does anyone have a way to make this happen automatically? I was thinking something on the supplier record but can’t find anything there, or maybe on posting template?(Using Apps10).

Hi,We are using IFS7.5 and Map (VirtMapPosition). Since 1st of July 2024 the Maps stopped working. I have checked the license key for Bing Maps and it is valid.Eventhough the error says about firewall there is nothing restricted from Firewall. I have written a test html to test Bing Maps and it works fine on Chrone but IE gives just an empty page.Has anyone faced this issue before and any workarounds? or Does anyone know whether Bing Maps has been stopped for IE? I posted on MS community but I did not get a direct answer.According to Microsoft, the Bing Maps is support IE 11 but on the server which hosts the appserver has IE9. So my next step would be to upgrade IE9 to IE 11 and test, but I need to know whether IFS7.5 works with IE111 without any issues.Has anyone tried this before? or any known issues running old IFS version 7.5 with IE 11?Any suggestions would be highly appreciated since the Maps are really needed for our business to run without any hassel.Thanks in Advance.

We build to customer design, and often our customers grant approval for us to build to a modified specification while they update drawings and specifications in the background. We need the ability to document revision change reasons from our customers. When a document is revised, what would the best practice be for storing customer emails and other documentation related to the Document Revision? 

 HelloIf the resource is a person, from the start date to the completion date the system calculates the order and creates a sales line, this makes it perfect. If the resource is a tool, the system has the option to start and complete, but it does not produce a sales line, I need to bill the time of use of the resource, just as it does with the person resource.  The only option to generate sales lines is to go to the section within the engineering portal called tools and equipment and record the time manually. (We do not want to do it through this step because it is more work for the technician and we already have a start and end date of the resource)  The system takes the start time, when the job startsThe system takes the start and end date  From the task I can record the hours of use with that option and these go to the sales lines   Should this work better automatically, taking the start time (start Work) and the end time (complete) from the resource card, what configuration should

Could someone please confirm whether reconfiguration is no longer necessary for applying SSL renewal in the IFSAPP 10 environment? Freight charge disappared when i changed delivery address to Single occurence. Is it designed like that? Or what should i do differently? 

Hi Community, I’ve got a customer who purchase serial tracked parts to a a supplier, to do so, he delivers to his supplier  manufactured serial tracked parts. When supplier delivers purchased parts, he gives for each delivered serial the list of components used Part & Serial (PN/SN). Is there any way to register this traceability structure in IFS Apps 10 ? At this time, the best I’m able to do is knowing on which PO the components were used (PN/SN), even if all parts are in multilevel tracking. NOTE : if possible, we would like not to use Shop Order with external work centers. Has anyone had an idea or a lead ? Thanks in advance, BR, Jean-Christophe

We are currently using IFS Apps 9. As a new ERP analyst in the IFS environment, I am exploring the various views associated with different objects/modules such as Document Management and Customer Orders, etc. Is there a comprehensive list available that could assist me in identifying these views?I understand that views are typically accessible through the System Info tab on each page. However, some views, like APPROVAL_CURRENT_STEP_DOC, may not be immediately visible. This specific view provides a list of all pending or rejected approvals for Document Management. How can I find more information about what each view does? Is there a help document that covers all available views for each object?Any guidance or assistance you can provide on this matter would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

I have a Resource Assigned to my Project Activity and the internal pricing setup is:Standard Internal PriceMy Resource, PROJECT MANAGER, only has General Cost setup of $133.33.  When I report an hour using the DWTT1 report code, the Internal Cost of the Project Transaction is $133.33.  This was a shock to me.The priority, as I know it is: Priority of Pricing LogicSince I have a report code defined, I believe the system should be following Priority 4.  Am I reading this wrong?  Is it because I have the Resource Defined as % that it does not follow Priority 4  and follows Priority 6?Does this make sense that the system does not recognize the Standard Internal Price if it is setup with a Report Code but with % as the Resource ID?Patrick

 Hi everyone,I wanted to discuss an issue we're facing regarding the WT addresses. When we add a customer to a WT, the WT address automatically fetches the customer’s address. However, it’s possible to manually change the WT address to something else.Recently, we've noticed that someone changed the WT address back to the customer address. Hi.When perform billing is done on a request, we sometimes have zero cost non-parts and parts.This creates vouchers that go into error because the cost set to zero. For Non-parts I made a workaround to delete zero cost lines on the non_part_usage table. However I can not do the same for the parts, because it needs to stay as is for various reasons. My question: Is there a built in function to stop vouchers from being created for something that obviously is going to cause an error by not costing anything? What is the default method for handling this?

Hello,I have a issue here that I would like some guidance on.  Let me explain the story before the question:We have recently started using IFS, and in our previous HRIS system we used to store car details, (Make, Model, Engine size, Registration details, etc), and these details were entered via the employee on their “Self-Service”.    I have recreated this the best i can using Properties and making them available to the employee in their IFS Self-Service.  I would like the employee to be able to maintain this data in their Self-Service, along with other properties i have created (ie. “How do you identify?”).However, I have noticed that the employee cannot edit these values from self-service, which then leads me to the following question: 1: Is there a way to make the Properties editable in Self-Service?2: (If the above is not possible), based on my explanation of the issue, what are the options available to me to achieve my outcome? Thanks in advance.  Regards,  Noel

Hello everyone,I got an issue and I would like to know if someone here faced it and got a solution.The issue concerns the value in “Stage Payment” column which is always “0” when we use “CLP” currency in our purchase order. In that column, we can edit the percentage, but we have to click twice on “Save” button in order to update our milestone payment information. when we click on “save” button, this is what happen:First time, all the stage amounts are updated according to the percentages we set but the buttons “Save” and “Cancel edit” don’t disappear. Second time, the buttons “Save” and “Cancel edit” disappear, all the values in “Stage Payment (%)” column change to “0”, all the stage amounts remain the same. But when we change and use “USD” currency, we don’t have that issue. it seems that maybe the cause of this issue could lies in the configuration of the “Currency codes” (USD and CLP) in the “No of Decimals in Amount” column. Thanks.

E.g. - Payment Method is CHK, but Cash Account of Payment Institute BANK NEW appears, even though the CHK Payment Method is not attached to BANK NEW   Business Impact: All cash accounts appear for all payment methods, even those that are not set up to the cash account

 Hello,I need your help, we have service contracts in invoice plan with periodic prices that we want to change into resources used, but as soon as I want to delete the periodic prices, I can't. I think it's no longer possible because I've tried everything with dates, but nothing works.Can you tell me if you've encountered the same problem? Thank you for your help  

I have E-Invoice setup & I create an Instant Invoice & sent it from RMB-> Send Invoice. Now I need to Resend the invoice again, but RMB-> Resend Invoice is disable. Please advice how to Resend the E-Invoice.

Hi Team,We have processed few of credit notes via API ( Receive E invoice ). The status is shown  “Message 41191 has been posted to queue IN1”,  but the user is unable to see the credit note/invoices in the External Supplier Invoice Load Information. Can you please help to fix this. Thanks in advance.

We are struggling with assigning users under “Assign Work” from the Prepare Work Order screen, under the “Allocate To” for users who perform work at multiple sites. We have the users set up in the Resource Detail with Companies and Sites assigned to them under the Connections tab. We also have their site assigned under the General tab. However, when we need a user to perform work at a site other than what is listed as their Site under the General tab, they are unavailable to be chosen under the LOV “Allocate To”. Has anyone else found a way around this other than changing the Site under the Resource Detail → General tab each time a user needs to perform work at another site? We are running APP10.

Hi,Is there a proper way to block users from using mWO S/Engineer Windows app to access IFS (Cloud 23R2), and only allow the Android app. I know we can disable the device after, but can we configure something so that they can’t even activate the Windows app in the first place? TIA
