What is it? The E-sign feature is available from IFS Cloud 23R2 (Cloud deployment only, Remote currently not supported). At its core it's an integration between IFS Document Management ("Docman") and Adobe Acrobat Sign.In order to send a document for signing you need to first upload it to Docman, release it, and attach it to some screen/business object. Hi We have a client and when she open the “Customer Order Lines” page IFS automatically trying to run a query.  User is not clicked the search but it runs and end with an system error. There seems to be something loaded with the advance search but its empty when I click on it. I cleared the cache and cookies but everytime when I open that window as a new page even its trying to load some data.Have anyone come accross with this kind of issue? 

Hi Guys,I am trying to attach the documents or view the documents through the cloud CRM companion App.I reviewd the technical documentation and documents are enabled through object connections for both Lead and Business activity. But I cannot see the attachment section in the companion app. I added the security grants for the CRM companion app. Not sure If I am missing any specific permissions  Any idea how I can use the document management functionality in CRM companion app please?

Hellowe are actually doing a migration dryrun from ifs v8 to ifs cloud 24r1we got issue with projections acp deployment.We successfully imported the ACP, but we can not publish our custom projections.We got the following error : invalid or missing procedure, function, or package name Debugging the database package workflow leads me to this :CUSTOM_PROJECTION_UTIL_API.Generate_And_Deploy_Projection___ try to generate and deploy projection.It calls a method to generate the projection header based on the projection object from custom_projection_tab which not exists in it.It result in a package header without lu name, and it must be the reason of the failure.But how can I get the projection registered in custom_projection_tab as I perform an import and not a creation.I had not this issue merging from dev env to cfg env.The acp come from cfg env and we deploy it into a production environment (dry run).Any idea ?​​​​​​​

I have added some criticalities to the screen Equipment Basic Data - Object Criticality and thought that they will be available from the list of values on the Prepare Work Order screen. The list of values is not available and the criticality cannot be selected from the Criticality screen when I zoom in from the Prep[[are Work Order screen.Please, could you advise if there are other settings in IFS that need to be completed to make criticalities available for the end users. 

We are upgrading to Cloud soon and I was under the impression ALL USERS will have access to Excel Migration - need confirmation and also need to know if the set up is still the same as in 10 - have to set up each user in Data Migration Users table

Can someone confirm what tables are not copied from Prod to UAT/CFG during a database clone? We are on 23R2 upgrading to 24R2 and I noticed that the database clones? I created a support ticket to learn this but they said I should post it in community instead. Thanks!

Hello,When creating an integration schedule, there is an option to ‘Generate Result File’.  If this process is being executed by a system integration user account (in our case ‘INT_ADMIN’), where does this result file go and from where would we be able to retrieve it?Thanks,Richard

Does anyone have experience in overriding the connector instance (mail) on report rules?On the report rule, Route to Connect, I can’t get this to work.If there is a mail sender that is marked as ‘default instance’ it will be used when sending the mail. If there is no default mail sender, IFS will select the first mail sender in alphanumerical order. Which means that if you create a mail sender with name ‘AAA’ it will be used before ‘BBB’.On an event action, of type E-mail, it is possible to override the Mail sender.Is this a bug or am I missing something?In  my testing I have created a very simple report rule, that will trigger each time a specific report is printed - and mail it to me. Not a real world scenario but a simplified example that is easy to test. If I select action ‘Send Email’ I can’t override the mail sender at all, seems to only be available on ‘Route to connect’. 

Hello IFS Community,Does anyone know how to send an email via a report rule using a custom sender instead of the default “ifs_noreply”?I’ve already created the custom sender and have successfully sent emails using the PDF_REPORT_CREATED event action. Hello, we sometimes have an issue about calling a specific event which runs an http request, sometimes, IFS takes a lot of time to execute the event. How can we reduce this time execution? Thanks

Hello all, does anyone has experience how it is possible to modify existing sales contract revision line items using Contract Change Order in IFS Cloud (25R1)? The only thing I am able to do with Contract Change Order is to add new line or new items to existing sales contract revision. According to IFS Documentation, it is CURRENTLY not possible to change existing sales contract items by Contract Change Order - since there is the word “Currently”, I understand that this functionality was available in the past releases or even IFS versions. Does anyone know if this funcionality is planned to be added again within future release of IFS Cloud?   In general, if you are using sales contract and you need to let’s say change/update data on existing sales contract revision line item (e.g. quantity, sales rate...) or you need to delete any sales contract revision line item, what are the steps you include in your process? Do you use new sales contract revision version to execute such changes?  T

Hello there,we have a scenario where employees record time to a general project code. The hours relate to more general tasks that cannot be easily identified to specific customer projects.But each month, we would like to allocate this general time across the multiple customer projects based on a % calculated.This is currently handled very manually - exporting general hours, deciding which projects are in scope for allocation, calculating the factor and then importing hours (cr. general code; db. multiple customer projects).Does anyone have a similar scenario and how do you handle this?Is there any standard IFS functionality that could cover this kind of allocation? Or has anyone got a custom development to automate such a process?We are currently in IFS10Thanks in advance!

Hi.We’re successfully created a custom note field on the Standard Operation page, with it being brought to other pages via expression/reference custom attributes as well. The field is called Cc Operation DefinitionWe’ve noticed the field only accounts for the data put into it when we use the “Reference” option with “Add Standard Operation” on the pages though, using “Copy” leaves the note field blank. In Shop Order, the assistant doesn’t give you the option to select between Copy or Reference, and the custom field appears blank: On the Routing page however, where the Add Standard Operation allows you to choose between Copy or Reference, choosing Reference populates the custom field with the data thats been added to it: How should we go about making the field populate via the copy option and in other windows as well where the option between the two isn’t offered? Thank you in advance!

We copied to cost set 1, had long list of items with the below warning!!**Part 00000 on Site 0000 has been manually removed from Inventory Part (Inventory_Part_Tab), but it still exists in Costing! Hi experts,We’re facing a strange issue with a custom report layout in IFS Cloud (created using IFS Report Designer). The report is designed for portrait orientation with fixed width and height. When we preview the report in IFS and then print from the preview screen, it comes out perfectly in portrait as expected. But when we print the report directly (without preview), it is always printed in landscape. We are using an Epson LQ-310 printer.So far we have: Verified that the report’s page size (width < height) is correctly set in Report Designer. Checked and changed the printer settings  Has anyone else experienced this mismatch between direct print vs preview print orientation? I saw several posts regarding the same issue.Is there a recommended fix either in the layout properties or in the print agent configuration , to force IFS to always print in portrait mode?Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Why do Barcodes and Fonts shrink using Crystal Reports in IFS APPS10? Is there a fix for this issue?Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? We are on APPS10 using Crystal reports to create parts labels. When we view in Crystal the barcode is fine but when we print through IFS the barcode/fonts shrinks. The samples show the differences. Thank you,
