I’m encountering the following error when trying to log in to the customer use place environment via the Scan It app:"An error has occurred. Exception of type 'android.content.activitynotfoundexception'  was thrown"All the necessary Wadaco client settings have been correctly configured, and the required permissions are granted for my user. Additionally, I have downloaded the latest version of the IFS Scan It app from the App Store.I’d appreciate it if you could provide a resolution or guidance to resolve this issue.

Hello,I am trying to trace values before and after a super(...) call using Trace_Sys.Message, like this: Trace_Sys.Message('BEFORE super: old=' || oldrec_.rowstate || ', new=' || newrec_.rowstate);super(objid_, oldrec_, newrec_, attr_, objversion_, by_keys_);Trace_Sys.Message('AFTER super: old=' || oldrec_.rowstate || ', new=' || newrec_.rowstate); However, I’m not sure where to view the Trace_Sys messages. IFS Cloud 24R1 doesn’t seem to have a Debug Console.Could someone please show me where these messages can be found in IFS 24R1? If possible, I would really appreciate a screenshot for clarity.Thank you in advance for your help! JL 

I would like to use the notify me app, I have it installed on my mobile phone I can log with my credentials, I do not know if there is something I need to do on IFS Cloud side. Thank you  Christophe

Hi Community,Does any one know how to navigate from one cell to another vertically.Ex: Project Activity Progress needs to be manually updated. I am trying to find how can I use the keyboard to move to the cell below my cursor. Usually down arrow key takes you, but in Aurena that doesn’t work. Especially for a data entry person like (finance / AP / Accounting) this is going to be challenging without  a keyboard shortcut.Version Apps 10 Upd 15. Thanks in Advance!Malik

Hi, Scenario:We have an employee not working on a set schedule and project time reporting.Reality could look like working 10 hours on a Monday, 4 hours on a Thursday and then not working again for two weeks.   I’ve tried different schedule scenarios and Time Base, Time Registration Base, Rule Types, Parameter List, Wage Codes – you name it. No matter what I do we can’t seem to get more hours than 8 to Results (unless I change Work Hours Sum in Day-by-Day schedules) while reporting 10 hours project reporting. We want this employee to be able to report his project time without having a set schedule with already defined hours. Is that even possible? We want the project reporting hours to match the hours going to Results. If possible, what needs to be done to set this up? This Employee is not entitled to Overtime compensation. /Anna

Hi Team, Is it possible to invoke IFS Cloud aurena pages from External system. At high level the user will login to external system select a record (customer, address) and click on link to IFS Cloud aurena page to raise a new service request. Expectation: IFS cloud ‘Create new request’ should open up with prefilled data say customer and address details. The user will then submit the page after adding few more details.

Hi we are looking into standard lead times automatically being added to promised dates when entering Customer Order Lines.Currently, even if the Expected Lead Time has a value, the initial Promise Date will still be sysdate. We do get an informational text stating that the suggested date should be sysdate + Lead time, but it allows the line to remain at sysdate.Based on what we read from other forum posts, it seems like this is the opposite to how standard practices work, but we are not sure why our system allows this. Why does the first promise date (during new line creation) not automatically include the Expected Lead Time?

When trying to create a pick list from the Maintenance Material Requisition page, we’re receiving ‘The Inventory Part in Stock does not exist’. We’ve confirmed that every part record contains an IPIS record and all parts are currently reserved with available inventory. Does anyone know what would be causing this error and preventing us from creating a pick list and picking the parts?? 

Hi,   Is there anyway to default this (see yellow highlight) as FALSE - “Create Quotation  in Released Status” when creating a Sales Quote from a Business Opportunity? I know it’s possible to do this for Customer Orders from the CRM Basic Default Values but can’t see an option for Quotations. I always want my Sales Quotations to be created in a Planned State. Can’t see anyway on CRM Default Values or Site Settings to change this have I missed something or is this a limitation?   ThanksTom

Hello dear IFS Community, I was wondering if there is a possibility to link a sales part to a customer. Our issue is as follows:We are creating a new part number for an existing product that will be updated. Some companies have a very long and complex process of adding our new part number to their system and will therefore keep buying the old version for a while.  Is there a way that we could sort of “phase out” the old Part number for most customers and still allow a few to order it? Our workaround would be to enter a “replacement part” in sales part and every time a customer has to order the older version we would have to manually remove and re-enter the replacement part.  Any ideas are more than welcome! Hello I’m getting a weird error which I can’t fix.On IFS Cloud 24r1, I added a command Execute Action on Non Conformance Report page.The action is a custom one on a custom oracle package, referenced into IFS throught metadatas.So I can pick the package / action on the NonConformanceHandling Projection. When I click on the command, I got the following error : NonConformance/Form (server error)Illegal operation.Server stack trace error(s): Client Warnings are not supported for the action [Cf_Release]. So 'X-IFS-Accept-Warnings' request header cannot be set to 'true'.Method: POSTUrl: /main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/NonConformanceHandling.svc/Cf_ReleaseResponse Code: 405 - Method Not AllowedThe InitAndEstimate action works fine, it’s also a POST call, but I can see there is no header “X-IFS-Accept-Warnings” on the InitAndEstimate call.I checked in the oracle package, we don’t use any warning, we don’t play with request headers, so I don’t understand what’s wrong.I cannot debug with db

Could someone explain under which conditions these postings are created? We have some trouble understanding the mathematics of these postings and I have tried to provoke the system to produce them in a test environment. But so far I have failed.  My test cases are built upon serial tracked parts with Weighted Average, Cost per Part or Cost per Condition, and Distribution Orders between sites in the same company. NB that the same parts and sites have resulted both in INTORDTR transactions with ORDTREVAL postings and without such postings.

We are experiencing an issue with IFS where customer orders are being placed on credit hold during shipment completion by the logistics department, preventing them from closing shipments. Our standard procedure is for credit limit checks to occur during order release by customer service, followed by credit team review and release if necessary.Recently, however, logistics has reported frequent instances of orders being blocked upon attempting to complete shipments. Could you please confirm if there are specific settings within the customer setup that determine when IFS performs credit limit checks and applies credit holds? Hi, We discovered an issue with a RMA of an order line of a serialized part. (We work in IFS-cloud)We sold a serialized part which now has been returned and we need to dismantle into components (some of them serialized too).The RMA was received into arrival and now that we want to identify the Serials before moving it to stock, we get an error “The current position Xpart_noX, XserialX is issued.I think in this case that the RMA is connected to a CO line that has a serial delivered to it, should recognize that the serial part is being returned and not asking for a new serial or saying that the serial is not possible to return.Do you guys have an idea why would this be happening or/and a workaround to solve the issue? Thanks in advance.
