In an effort to fix a Person ID creation error - our HR Department terminated an employee in IFS. After advising them we could not do what they wanted to do as far as the PERSON ID being tied to the same Employee ID on a new person ID.When we attempt the rehire process we are getting an “overlapping date intervals” error message. In this example the employee was originally hired on 12/09/2024, Terminated on 2/16/25, we are trying to rehire as of 2/17/25 and this is when the error populates 

Hi ,We have noticed a problem with our Shop Employee’s time sheets. For some reason, the Authorization of Monday – Friday seems to get removed.In the below screenshot we can see that only the Weekend days remain authorized. The green seems to have been removed from the workdays.We have confirmed that on the Friday of the week, that the hours were all Authorized. But by Monday morning, only the weekend remained Authorized.  This seems to be a problem weekly.We suspect that it might be this schedule job doing this, this job is set to execute every Monday, Afte this job gets executed the hrs get un authorized? Does anyone face this issue?? The display of attendance bookings should be visible in the Team Calendar display.For this purpose, a display layer for “Presence” should be defined in the template configuration, where the booking display can be controlled.Possible would be: first and last booking                               only bookings of type “Normal                               etc. 

Hi HCM experts,Does IFS provide an integration API to terminate an employee via a REST API?We have a third party HR system and when they terminate an employee , we need to call IFS REST API and then terminate corresponding employee in IFS.I know IFS has an assistant called ‘Terminate Employment’ to do this process by a user and an associated REST API for the assistant specific operations however utilizing assistant specific APIs are in most cases not possible or complicated for integations.

In the new Team Assignment functionality we can set up a structure of managers and team members under a team id. There is however no way of looking at the full structure to easily see how the team is built up. For example, User3 has User2 as a supervisor, and User2 has User1 as supervisor. There is no page to see these three users in a tree, similar to how Project Deliverables or Project/sub project works with the expandable navigator.Are there future plans to enhance the Team functionality to include a screen like this?

Hi Experts I would like to understand why my screen not displaying the “Valid Data Processing Purpose” checkbox & menu?I’m trying to find the menu as I see from a tutorial: Note: I have tried to set up the Personal Data Management configurations such as Data Subject, Anonymization Setup etc. But I think I need above menu to proceed further.

Hi, I’m trying to set up use of Employee Cards to register employee attendance clockings in IFS 10 IEE via Time Clock. As an example, I’ve set up the employee/person with the Card No. below, and set up the card parameters to match (I think): The time clock detail for the button is set to Card Driven Execution, but when I attempt to scan a barcode (with characters 0000001590) using a barcode reader after clicking “In”, nothing changes and the terminal still reads “Clock In: Swipe the Card.” However, if I use a standalone time clock client, I get an error saying “Employee    not a time clock user.” Scanning the barcode into a text document or other fields in IFS gives the expected result (0000001590). Unfortunately, the debug menu shows nothing when I click the button or attempt to scan the barcode. Has anyone else encountered this behavior or a workaround for it?

Hello Community!I’m trying to create a schedule and rule which includes a 50 hr weekly limit after which ALL time is converted to DT (double time).  The problem I’m having - the conversion order.  The requirement is to convert (reduce) OT time first, then reduce Normal time.  IFS is taking from Normal time first - I need the opposite.  The Conversion Default Check box doesn’t seem to change the order of conversion.  Any experience out there?  Schedule:5Dx8H MTWTFBalance Definition:Cheers, Troy

I am trying to do a null check when creating an event action, but null check does not work for a null value. But if i check a string value it work very well.  

We are getting below warning message all of a sudden when registering absence. “Authorized absence request will generate balance AHOL. You might exceed the allowed values for this balance, resulting in shortenning or removing of the absence.” Does anyone know what that means and how to stop prompting this? Thank you! 

Hi,The current annual absence limit of the employee can be corrected using ‘Current Employment Correction’ under 'Absence Limit Parameters'.However, absence limits that are carried over in a carry forward absence type (unused absence hours of the last period) cannot be corrected.How can we correct absence limit of a carry forward absence type?We are using APPS10 UPD18.Thanks and best regards,Madeleine

How can I check an employee’s status for a specific date in a PL/SQL script? Is there an API call that will provide that information? I’m struggling to find it. I can find the call to see their current status, but what about a previous employment period?

Hello,we have in our company some employee that reports there activity in reality between 2 Organization Unit.For exemple 20% on organisation A / 80% on organisation B Looking at the Assignment view in Oracle, it seems that is planned to be able to split the Employee on several Organisations.  Looking into IFS, it is a bit strange, because we can not partially assign to a specific Organization Unit. (as suggested in the Oracle view) So the Question is if anyone knows if we can share an Employee on several Organisation Unit  as Primary ?Thanks in advance to the community for the support.kind regards,/ Anthony

Hello Community,I am willing to restrict the view on the employee’s bank details.There are registered in the properties (for expenses payment) and in the employee file.I was thinking than an attribute could restrict the view on that data but none already available seems to work as needed.Have you experienced this request before?thank you!

Hi community,I want to setup for one employee to authorize himself the time registration.I have created  a new attribute with self-access.Assigned to a new role created as welland then assigned this role to the mentioned employee.But when I try to authorize the time card the option still not availableAlso, this employee have a supervisor access HR.What am i missing?Regards, 

Hi community, It’s possible to have in the organization 2 roles with the same attribute assigned but with different Data Operation Type? For e.g: Management and HR executiveWith this attribute assigned For role HR Executive grant all the data operation type: Active, Registration, Modification and Removal.But for role Management only: Active and Registration (don’t want to allow edit the absence or removal).The issue is that I just want to give the permission to the supervisor to approve the absence request but not edit or remove it.Regards,

Hiho, currently I am setting up an employee survey where I want to have a question like: would you recommend this company as an employer? If the answer is No (depended question), a follow up question of type “open ended” as a free text should show up. This is all working fine, my problem now is, that the free entered text of the follow-up question is nowhere shown in the analysis. Furthermore there is apparently no possibility of analysis questions of type “open-ended” at all or do I miss here anything? Thanks and greetingsDavid

Hi, This is related to error when generating absence for people who has change of position/assignment. Context: Take this example - Employee E103111 has change of position multiple times within the company but his employment start date is 15/12/2022. See below screenshot:  What the HR person normally do to fix this is to temporarily change the latest assignment of a person to match with the person employment start date. Which is super inconvenient for them.This thing has been an unproductive issue for a long time, but we do not know any better solution exist.Imagine if there is more than 100 people to generate absence and half of them need to do this temporary change, it is a nightmare.Please share or propose any better solution for this problem. 

Is it possible to report project time and see at the same time the start and end time?We currently have setup the system to report the number of hours spend on project time transactions, but we would also like to record at what time those hours are spend.

Good day.  I would just like to confirm - Approval flow for Expense Sheets (Travel Related Expenses and General Expenses) is to the direct Supervisor of the Employee registering the Expense?  Thus one level of Approval?  Authorization normally done by Finance.Additional setup required is Position Access as well as Supervisor Access?Thank you.Anya  

 I noticed an issue regarding the Time Registration and Employee Result Screen. Wage Code:Created OT time in time registration screen This was automatically transferred to the employee result screen I deleted the OT time in Employee Result Screen  The OT time was automatically removed from the time registration screenWork Order/Task:I created a Work/Task time in time registration screen This was automatically transferred to the Employee Result Screen, under wage code 'REG' I deleted the REG time in the Employee Result Screen But when I checked in the Time Registration screen my Work/Task entry was still visible.Any reason why this is?
