A week ago, I successfully installed UPD5 to Apps 10 in my DEV environment with only one error reported in the installer.log and no errors reported in the IFSDEV10_configuration.log. Is there a smarter way to grant permission to database objects besides doing a rmb on 200 folders one-by-one?

In IFS Middleware Server Admin Console page all the services are in GREEN state but Http Servers which higlited in RED is in ORANGE state. What is the meaning of this difference, to overcome this issue what is the action need to perform. Is anyone of you faced issue similer to this, If YES please advise way to resolve. Common Tab→  HTTP Servers →If we select the option, it is in loading state and page went greay-out. Regards,Vivek NR.

Does the IFS client (we are Apps 9) use the JAVA runtime (JRE) environment?  If so are we required to license it?  This question has come up with the announcement of the JRE licensing requirements that were announced earlier this year.

What is the significance of the No of processes in the batch queue configuration? 

We're upgrading to IFS 10 from IFS 8. I need to verify all the saved searches came through intact. If I navigate "My Administration" -> "Saved Searches", I can see the list. How do I export it so that I can compare the IFS 8 list to the IFS 10 list? Alternatively, what table or view can I use to see this information in SQL?

Does anyone know how to publish changes to a lobby in Aurena? I've made some changes to one and they are active in EE, but not on Aurena. Also wonder how to change a Lobby in Aurena. We want to make a local copy of My Self Service and do some changes to this. Bjarte

I want to add a second application server, do i need to i stall all of my patches on the second application server?

Is there any customer out there that has this working in v10 - that are able to produce operational reports (like POs and such) inside of IFS? Also, I think the attachment is from version 9 - it refers to Simple LDAP which is not supported in v10. Is there a version of this document updated for v10?

End-Customer needs secure access for +300 end-users. They are using hired equipment by OEMs where they can't install VPNs nor register them into Azures or similar Active directory structures. Simpe user name/password to access into Aurena is not enough. They should use also second authorization through tokens or similar technology which ensure personal access into Production environment of IFS Apps. Equipments are running on different OS like Android and iOS. Therefore they should use Aurena client for limited functions like Time reporting, Absence registration and Travel Requests/Expenses. I would get some "white papers" how to setup two stage authorization. The aim is to prevent second installation for "reporting" environment with replication into PRODuction env.
