We have a situation where invoice is needed to be emailed as its printed. event action has been created to event pdf_report_created and triggering conditions has been given to match with the report ID.

 

Although report is printed without any issue email is not triggered (Cannot see anything in application messages) 

what can be the reason for this?

 

Is a PDF file actually being created?  Check the Print Manager screen for the print job in question and see if you have a right-mouse / Show Document(s) option.

It might also be that either your Event or Event Action are not enabled.

Lastly, for testing you might want to remove the triggering condition and retest in case that is somehow not working as expected.

Yes PDF file is created. (Can't see any record in print manager but from report archive can view the pdf).

 

Event action is enabled.

I tested by removing the condition but still cannot see any email in application messages.

Can there be any other reason for this?

 

 

 

 

 


Are you “printing” it to the No Printout printer?


What is the trigger based on ? Could you post screenshots of the Event and Event Action(s) ?
