Hi, If I want to change a customer order line I use this function: Customer_Order_Line_API.Modify__()   Some times I need to do it it in a background job. Then I would create a new procedure that executes Customer_Order_Line_API.Modify__() and then start that new procedure with Transaction_SYS.Deferred_Call() from an event.   Is there any way to perform this directly without the custom procedure?   Best regards Kresten

Is there a way to find the details related to when was the last time a user password was changed?

When a quick report is published, it grants the Projection to all available permission sets.THere is no easy way to “Unpublish” the quick report.I cannot find any option to select a Projection, and then remove access for this projection for several permission sets at the same time. This would be a most helpful feature.My customer (currently 21R2) has hundreds of permission sets, to go in to every single permission set to remove the grant, would take a very long time.

I am logged in as Technician in the remote build place. Why don’t I see all IFS componets in the azure repo? What permissions am I missing? 

I have access to build place as a technician. I have ordered one DEV environment so I can create customisation solution to develop and test.However Network share field is not visible for DEV environment. What am I missing?

I have just carried out an Apps9 to Apps10 upgrade and inadvertently not specified the instance folder, setting the IFS Home folder to be F:\IFS\IFSMWS instead of F:\IFS\IFSMWS\IFSL.  Is there an easy way to amend this.   Unfortunately, it would cause a lot of upheaval if I went back and removed it then re-created IFS Home again as many steps/processes have been carried out since.  I think this could be handled by create_backup.cmd but haven’t used this in years.Please advise.Thank you in advance.

Hi all,This following case statement is executing successfully in quick reports but it will not work in data source designer. Hello all, Is there a way that we can somehow color indication equipment (both Functional Objects and Serial Objects) in the Equipment Object Navigator - Structure?We have equipment split in 3 categories; In Production (Green), Service Support (Yellow/Orange) and End of Life (Red). It would be nice to be able to see that clear when we look at the structure:Something in the line of below (either text - marker or high-lighted): We are currently in Apps9, would it maybe require an update to IFS Cloud?  Thank you,Michael

IFS print agent is not installed by IFS managed cloud. Can a 3rd party solution provider host the printing agent servers outside of customer network? And are there any prerequisites such as networking/whitelisting concerns?

Hi, We have a customer who is App Dynamics for monitoring. They want to use App Dynamics to monitor business transactions in Apps 10. Do we have any configuration document outlining steps of how to configure Apps 10 in App Dynamics? Attach is the documentation from App Dynamics. We are able to get the URL to monitor using debug console but not able to get the values. Regards,Vikas

I’d like to start using the customer-solution repository in the IFS Lifecycle Experience Portal to replace our current source control repository. This will include such extra things like…Crystal Reports SQL Quick Reports Custom APIs PowerShell infrastructure scripts (for database refreshes, integrations) ACPs Print Agent XMLs etc.What are the best practices around dumping such code and configuration items into Git that aren’t intended to be touched by a delivery installer?

In Cloud, I created a custom event action tied to existing event (PARTS_SUBMITTED_TO_MRB). My event action works and sends a streams message to A user. When I tried to add multiple users (assume User1 and User) via Receiver window, usernames are displayed with semicolon delimiter.Then when I go to trigger event, I get message:The Foundation1 user "User1;User2" does not exist.Does this mean I can only send a streams message to one user?

Hi!We are on IFS Cloud 22R1 SU12 and have performance problems in many parts of the system. We see issues in quite a lot of screens when searching for data. The volumes are not super big, but we have records from the 10 000 to 200 000, which from a database perspective is not huge. Has anyone tried out enabling the Oracle In-Memory capabilities for IFS and what approach have you taken when implementing it? /Per Chr

It appears that with 21R2, there are only 5 Lobby Element background colors available (if you include white as a color), and 1 Accent color that can be defined in the Appearance Designer. Is this correct? While no colors could be user-defined in 21R1, there were 18 options provided, making it easy to group common lobby elements by color.In the case of the pre-defined colors, white is a poor choice, and the other 4 are both commonly used indicator colors (red, yellow, green, etc.) and are such a low saturation as to make it difficult to see them against the default background color.Am I missing the ability to change Lobby Element background colors elsewhere, or to add additional colors to the available palette?If this is by design, what is the use case for this? 

Apps 10 - UPD14Is anybody aware of a way to setup the middleware to automatically remove ‘old logs files’ generated by the HTTP / MainServer / Integration Services?Currently we are handling this by manually deleting the old log files but thought I would ask on the community.  

Hi,I want to use line break for long texts. How can I break to row? I tried with “<br>” tag with “<p>”. It worked. Then I divide the text and I added “<br>”. It didn’t work with “<ifs-data>” tag. Hi, We are using serial objects which have maintenance aware and having lots of difficulty trying to find a way to change them after they have been receipted. I have tried the rename function but due to “maintenance aware” i cannot get this to process and receive an error  Is there a way to remove the maintenance aware temporarily or an alternative way to chnage the serial no. This is mostly occurring upon human error and the vast quantities of data entered. Many Thanks
