Dears,

I wanted to check if its possible to configure print agent which is not on same network/domain where the application is installed. the remote machine/print agent is connected via internet.

Kindly advise

Regards

Pankaj

Hi @paguin,

As long as the application access point URL is accessible from where the Print Agent is, I think it should be possible. However, the printers need to be on the same network so that the Print Agent can access them.

Hope this helps!

Hi @paguin,

Are you using a reverse proxy in this environment? There was a bug in Print Agent which threw this error and it was fixed in UPD9 via patch ID 153959. If you are in an older version, then this might be the reason.

Hello,

Yes we are using IFS10 UPD7. let me check with Support. thanks.

Any other help is more than welcome

Pankaj

@Charith Epitawatta , you are amazing.

It worked like a charm

@Charith Epitawatta   - Can you share what has changed in this patch. cause seems it does not need SSL any more….Is there any release note we can refer to

Regards

Pankaj

Hi @paguin,

The correction description of the patch says following:

“Change to support tls1.2 security protocol”

Therefore, if you are using TLSv1.1, then please disable it and enable TLSv1.2 in IFS Middleware Server. You can refer to the steps mentioned in the following article:

Thanks a lot @Charith Epitawatta

Great help
