Field Service Management (FSM) & Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO)

I’m hoping I have not missed anything with the answer to my question in a previous thread but here goes.  As we prepare to enter onto an upgrade path for our instance of FSM6, we are looking to incorporate the ability to execute our regression test plan with a degree of load beyond a few testers manually key-ing test cases into the system.  Has anyone found or better yet successfully used any tools that can be loaded with scripting to replicate the day-in-the-life of the business?  Ideally we’d love to have the ability to take a day’s worth of transaction from our production system and replay them into the upgraded test system because as we have learned, what passes in non-production with no-load may not work in the real world.  Any direction at all would be appreciated. Cheers,Richard Spence

Hi All, what are the steps to configure openID ADFS for PSO. For FSM there is a very detailed documentation, can we have the same for PSO. The configuration has the reference but not the actual steps to configure ADFS (Web Api or Server Application, etc) Can you share screens or steps? Thank you,Charalampos

when technician by mistake uploaded the wrong document , the technician is not able to delete it as there is no option available to delete in MWO . Is there a solution for this ? 

Hi ALl, I created a part with a DOP Structure that is 3 levels (top part - 2 sub parts - 1 of those subparts consist out of 2 other components). All of these are serialized parts.I sold the part on a CO line and used ‘Create SM object’, ‘Superior SM object ID’ to create the Serial Object structure, and I used Customer warranty on the top part. After Delivery the Equipment structure is created, all 5 Part serials were Serial objects and received ‘Location’, ‘Belongs to Object Id’, ‘Party’, etc... What I noticed is that the Customer Warranty is also copied to the 2 sub parts, but not to the 2 components on the lowest levels. Why is that? Why is the warranty only copied 1 level down, and not 2 levels down? These are also subcomponents that would benefit from the same warranty deal, right? Best RegardsRoel 

Hi Team,My PSO user account is getting disabled automatically everyday. In FSM Person record, PSO system user is checked and my user is having SSO Enabled. Is it possible to change the colors used in FSM for the PSO Appointment Booking display?

Hello! We are having trouble with booked appointments splitting across several days. We have gotten the feedback from IFS support that the parameter activity_SLA start_based should be set to false but we are unable to find that specific parameter. Does anyone know where i can find it when it isn’t in the list with all the other parameters? Is there another way to stop booked appointments from splitting across days? 

Hi There,FSM6uxWe often fire a notification using the TEXT_LINE_CODE as the trigger to an event that is picked up fires the notification based on that event. We are picking up the values from REQUEST_TEXT.TEXT column in notification message but when receiving the notification in mobile app the value is appended with chr(13).What can I do to remove this chr(13) coming up. Many thanks and Best WishesHarsh Malhan

Hello, The IQA button does not appear on the web client. It seems like the functionality is limited to the Smart Client. I am using release 6 and update 23. There are a couple of FSM client scripts that hide the IQA button (REPAIRCENTER_HIDE_IQA and REQUEST_HIDE_BUTTONS).Is there any chance of this functionality being made available in the web client going forward?  ThanksRegardsNeville

Hi Experts,I need to understand where does the data under “About FSM” tab appear from when clicked on the little question mark icon (help) on top right corner of FSM screen. I have checked and modified the web.config file in FSM root directory, doesn’t work   

Our understanding was that PSO, HTM would only find available routes to locations via road access. We have a clear example of a location on an island, serviced only via ferry, where the ABE has provided offers for appointments. This is not our desired behavior. Are there any parameters we need to review? How can you assist us in looking further into this issue.Thanks

In PSO, one can add a new field to UI using parameter RequiredReason. This enables adding a reason for any manual change to activity done on SWB.We fail to find an equivalent in IFSCloud that would take this value from PSO as part of integration.Is there such an entity field in IFSCloud? Also in PSO, even after setting the parameter, the entry of value is not mandatory. Is there a way to make it so?

Is there any screen in the ARP where RAM_Resource.description is, or can be, displayed?  It seems problematic that a part of the modeling schema is not available in the ARP.

Good Afternoon,Is it possible to put a lock on either Yellow Sticky Notes or Free Notes within a WO to ensure that the user who created the Free Note or Sticky note is the only person who can remove/delete?Alternatively, is there a way in which the WO Journal can be updated to log when a note is added to the Work Order.We have found that there are occasions when notes have been removed, but cant determine by who or why? We have a work order with a material posting that was transferred to a customer order. The customer order has been invoiced. We now need to create a credit from the posting. But when I access the Transfer of Work Order Lines to Customer Order screen, and right-click on the line, the menu option Credit Invoiced Line is greyed out.Any ideas as to why? More information:Work order status = Started Work order > CO Information tab > Cust Order ref = customer order to which it was transferred and invoiced Posting Cost Type = Material Posting Status = Transferred Posting Customer Order No = customer order to which it was transferred and invoiced Posting Invoice Number = customer order invoice it was included on Customer Order Status = Invoice/Closed Customer Order Type = SEO we are using IFS version 9
