Hi,I have a JSON Connection which is 99% there.The extract column ‘channels’ needs to be passed as an array, extract from the API Guide.What do I need to set and where on the XML Mapping so the ‘channels’ extract column is passed as [“SMS”]. Currently it missing the square brackets outside the quotation marks. I cannot add the square brackets to the value as it passes them inside the brackets when triggered. Any suggestions? Regards Ady

Hi All,  Struggeling with the following. I have a custom view and created sync rules. It all works fine, until the sync rule can't find a record in the database. The issue is here that when no record is found in the database, the sync rule won't create a record in the mm_message_out table, which says "this table is empty”. The result is that old data isn't removed in mobile, because no "delete” or "null” message is send. Is there a way to 'clean up’ the mobile database somehow?

Our Android devices sync fine you go to the sync screen and the device syncs it clears the headers but our windows app seems to have to be forced constantly, closed down paused sync  to try and sync the items waiting or ready - Would there be a reason why for this  

Hi All, I would like to push data from a custom table to the mobile. I created a sync rule with a extract rule.Set a Frequency on the sync rule, but nothing is getting pushed and the app isn’t updated.I have to push the sync now button, in order the push the data. Is there a way to send the data to mobile on a frequent base, without a update trigger? 

Hello everyone! Me and my team are trying to create an FSM developer environment. Firstly I initiate the Oracle database installation process through the setup.exe file provided by IFS and the GUI is running normally at first. When asked, after some steps, to enter the credentials provided to us to create the DB, ba powershell windows appears beginning the installation. After some run time, I get the ORA-06550 error. I have attached a log file with this post, as taken from windows powershell, any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated! Thank you!Dimitris

Hi,To restrict the view of tasks and person in FSM we are using Access Groups. If a user has Access Group "X", they can only see the tasks and person with that access group. If a user doesn't have any Access Group they can see all tasks and person.In PSO, we use Object Groups to achieve the same behavior. We expected that a user who has no object group defined should be able to see all tasks and persons. However, this is not the behavior that is happening in the PSO.Can someone clarify the behavior of object groups please?

Is it possible to increase the resources row height on the Resources Workbench? In order to view multiple days work, we lose sight of key information on the Activity icons on the workbench. If the row was higher, we could increase the icon size, and therefore display more info.

Dear All, I need to populate some specific selected global code values in a drop down fields in web client.  Lets say in Global code I have code values likeCode_Value1,Code_Value2,Code_Value3,Code_Value4 Some time I need to display  Code_Value1, Code_Value2  and some time Code_Value2, Code_Value3,Code_Value4.  Can anybody help me on this to achieve the same. In Mobile there is a populatelistQuery  function . Hi All,We have created an extension table for PART_NEED table as PART_NEED_EXT, for just populating the existing data from Part_Need table we created an alias table for the same, but we need to define a child relation in UI Designer with the Part_Need alias using a field of PART_NEED_EXT table.Our major challenge is to bring the columns of PART_NEED_EXT table to the alias table to define a child relation.Please suggest any solution for the same. Thanks in Advance!  

There is a requirement where I need to send below formatted message from FSM to external system.Mail Bodyin above some information are directly available in FSM database. some text and information are fabricated with Database values to look like paragraphs (Email Body).How can i send this information in Outbound Integration on XML maps? is it possible to send the Fabricated Mail body in XML maps?

Hi everyone, I have a customer requirement that  files outout from FSM via integration should be sent to a customer hosted SFTP server. Can this be done using Integration schedules?When configuring a Monitor Schedule of the type ‘Process (S)FTP Upload’, the 'File and Folder options’ appear to refer to local client locations?Can this point to the attachment container? This is an IFS Managed Customer with FSM / PSO / CE Thanks

Hi,We need to have more than one dataset in PSO and we did the following steps: 1 - Created two datasets;2 - Created a team for each dataset;3 - Created Integration Schedules for each dataset.4 - Created a resource and associated it to one of the teams. Expected result: The resource only exists in the corresponding dataset.Actual result: The resource exists in both datasets. In our understanding, the resource should only exist in a dataset (the dataset associated with his team). Does anyone know how to solve this problem or if this is a already known issue? FSM Version: 6 Update 18PSO Version: 6

We have to create a new user-id for a technician.  The old user-id was set to inactive.The technician only has MOBILE license. When completing a task, we set a BR to send email with attachment (a report.  PDF file).Another BR is also setup to attach the report to task when task is completed.  (we have customization to attach report here). After using the new account, the emails by the technician do not contain attachment anymore.On task there is no report attachment either. I have checked to task_attachment, and attachments tables, no record is created by new user-id since it was created. User connects to mobile app using SSO login. The issue doesn’t happen to other technicians. Any idea what to check for this new user-id? Thanks in advance,~Juni 

Hi Experts, One of our customers have raised a question on the Apple ABM process required for FSM iOS app distribution.“I would like to know whether we can utilize the direct link download mechanism mentioned in Apple distribution methods (link 1 below), as Electrolux have a business case where there are technicians (3rd party) who does not have an Electrolux account, but wants to install the FSM iOS app. Since they don’t have an Electrolux account they won’t have access to Microsoft Intune (ABM), so they will not be able to download and install.For Android, we are able to sideload the application as it can be downloaded from the FSM Server URL, problem occurs for iOS. Hi team, We have iframed other application url inside FSM Smart Client. We are passing task parameters in the iframed url using the format {{task.task_id}}. It is working fine in smart client. But the same is not working in webclient. In webclient it takes the parameter value as {{task.task_id}}Can you please advise how to fix this for web client or workaround for this? We need to construct urls through metrix browser as iframes in web client. Basically it should work in webclient rather than smartcliet for us. The URL is unable to substitute e.g. {{task.task_id}} in web client.  Regards,Ajay

We have setup all the parameters for PSO in our application, however when the Service request is initiated and the scope is added to the service requests and the tasks are getting generated based on Service Catalog, we do not get the option for Appointment booking so that Appointments can be retrieved from PSO. Could anyone please help us with the reason for of us not getting the Appointment Booking button?

Hello,I’m trying to create a lobby tile with a scripted data source. (FSM 6.5)My Client Script SQL and Client script are both working.  I can preview my data source from the data source designer screen and see the result from my script.  The script is returning a single number and appears to be in a column named “return”.I’m struggling to get the number returned from the data source to be displayed in the actual element tile.  There is just a big X where the number should be.Since this is my first scripted lobby tile I must be missing a step somewhere. Anyone know what it could be? Thanks!
