We are currently using Apps 10 and are multi-company/multi-site using the EDI/MHS messages within IFS to pass data between the sites.  Within the Dispatch Advice documentation it states the PRO_NO is for The tracking or booking number for transport of goods. This information is sent out in the dispatch advice, however, we can’t find where this data is picked up within IFS on the incoming dispatch advice. Does anyone know if this data is picked up and stored anywhere? Is there a way to automatically send the customer order confirmation after the customer has been take off of credit hold?  Customer Service and credit would like the order confirmation to be sent when released from credit hold.  Right now there are stops at the Print Order Confirmation, Reservev Order, Print Picklist and Create invoice.

Hello everyone, I would like to know if it’s possible to send a delivery note with IFS maintenance ?Let met explain, we create a rental customer order and sometimes we have to change some parts of our rental item.So we create from this CO a demand service adding all materials we need to change. So all parts goes on initial orders which is perfect, but I canno’t print a delivery note . We can only delivery all parts.Maybe I’m not using the right process for this ? If you have any suggestion it’ll be appreciate for us. Regards,Nicolas.

We are moving over to IFS and were told that there were folks using Zoominfo. Is there anyone who has integrated ZoomInfo with IFS CRM? Also if you can let me know what Marketing tools you have found successful with IFS CRM. Thanks much!

Hi,   Do we have any option to cancel the PO Receipt where PO has been raised from CO in whichsupply code in CO line purchase order direct.   after doing register direct delivery PO has been closed CO is in delivered state and I want to cancel the Receipt of PO.   thanks HA

Any option to cancel pick list in Apps 9 for sales order being used in connection with shipment.

In 23R1 business activity window , under activity type we can only see meeting and task . how can i activate the rest . what is the window to activate the rest .   

The customer has the below query.Can we auto-assign a Sales Charge in a Customer Order based on the customer and their delivery terms? In the Customer > Order > Charges window, we can set Charges to be automatically assigned to the order. How about if we only want Customer Orders with PICKUP Delivery terms to have this Sales Charge?

All, Whilst trying to load available order lines in a shipment the following error message has been seen, we are stil on Apps9, is there an easy way to extend the table space? Or do we need to be looking else where to sort this problem out?

HI Team,Could you please guide me is there any way.Can we define two different GL account to one manufacture part under posting control M1.Ideally this is scenario will arise when business want to buy to manufacture part in the market rather than manufacture on their own.We are thinking to use Control Types C32 -Accounting Group &  C46- Location Type, but the problem is  Location Type ‘Picking’ is available in all the places like during arrival, shop order etc.Regards,TecAlages

When trying to print a customer invoice I got this error:  

I am wanting to create a primary picking and a secondary picking location for my inventory.  I have tried availability controls to mark as “over stock” and have that availability control set to not auto reserve.  This works somewhat, but if the pick ticket is over the quantity in bins with out the availability control we struggled.  Replenishment happens daily to the optimized pick paths, but sometimes that isn’t fast enough and I would like to direct picking according to availability as well as FIFO.  Any options outside of availability controls?  

Hi,Is there a way to have a picklist generated and reported for a shop order but not have it automatically issue to the shop order? We have distinct separation between the operators who pick the stock and the operators who use the stock.We would like the responsibility of issuing to the shop order to sit with the person using the stock.

Am hoping someone can give me some guidance on how they manage price lists that are no longer valid. We operate on a system where haulage is included as part of the price per part. Which means that each price list has to factor the distance from the source to delivery point. As a result, we have a price list per delivery post code, per pricing level for all of our customers. Currently 22k price lists. We revise our prices approx twice per year, so the number of lists are growing. The update procedure we use (Migration scripts from CSV) takes a long time to run as it performs checks on previous lists. I would like to remove the price lists that are no longer valid to speed this process up. Is there anything anyone can suggest to remove those price lists or archive them perhaps?

Please help with Outlook Calendar Sync from Outlook to IFS.We configured Outlook synchronization with IFS Cloud and it works in one way(IFS->Outlook), but it doesn’t work in other way (Outlook->IFS). When exporting  quick report to Excel I get the error listed below.  This is a Crystal quick report. Hi All  What is the basic data setup for Inter-Company order flow ? Any document to follow ?

We are using Apps10 Aurena and we have successfully installed CRM Panel into Outlook for one user to carry out tests but it is not installing successfully on my machine.I am able to install the Add-in and it is showing as installed in 365 but it is not showing in my Outlook client.I am on the same version of Outlook as my colleague where it has worked, I’m using the same XML file too.Has anyone else had trouble with this? Are we missing something?

This is more a general Aurena question than Distribution, but it has to do with the Customer Order page specifically.  Attempting to set a Subscription on a particular order, the Status field is not an available selection - which would be the most commonly used purpose for a subscription, yet fields like Site, Currency, Order Number, Order Type are all listed as possible selections - yet those are fields that can never change on an order. It also doesn’t have our custom fields in the list.  Can they be added or can the projection configuration be changed to select or exclude items in the list? Is the Subscription process really this poorly designed or am I missing something to configure it better so it can be used effectively?  In its current state, it is pretty useless for the things users would want to see.

Hi, One of our existing customers have changed their name and keeping the same org number. This is an old customer with many transactions (projects, invoices etc).I dont know the best way of doing this, change name or add a new customer Id? Will it cause problems with old transactions if we take the easy way and change the name?

Hello,running this window: Access → All (after searching for any business activity) causes a complete IFS system freeze.It refers to the view rm_acc_priv_all. Executing an SQL query that counts the rows in this view takes almost 40 minutes for me (select count(*) from rm_acc_priv_all).Is there any way to fix this issue? Best regardsMartinator
