Hi  Why doesn't the Address1 field of the Supplier, Customer, and Company screens auto-populate when we select a Zip Code?I set up the Zip Code on the screen itself, linking the country, state and city and even so, the system still doesn't fill in Address1.

Hi, We are migrating data from Apps8-Support Issue (Module-SCENTR) to IFS Cloud. But in the IFS cloud we couldn't find the module-SCENTR and a page called ‘Support Issue'. Data is not there in the IFS cloud’s "Case Issue" either.So we would like to know how the Module-SCENTR is mapped to the IFS Cloud. Thank you and best regards,Rashmika.

Hi All,  A client of mine has similar IDs for Account CRMS and Leads : for instance an Account CRM ID 94 and a Lead ID 94. The problem is that when I want to associate the Account CRM ID 94 to another Account as a Child / Parent Account to create an Account Structure; ->  the system automatically select the Lead ID 94. I cannot find any way to block this, and it happens a lot with this client, who has many leads and account crms with same No/ID. Would anyone know how to prevent this ?  Thank you   

Hi AllWe are finding that searches for customers and contacts are taking between 1-2 minutes to return the results.Examples:‘Customers - Sales Specific Information’ screen Search on ‘Post/Zip Code’ Results take 1-2 minutes to return   ‘Account Contacts’ screen Search for part of a contact name Results take 1-2 minutes to return   ‘Customer Order’ screen Click on ‘Customer’ drop down Click ‘Find’ In the slide-out screen, search for full or partial Post/Zip code Results take 1-2 minutes to returnThese times are not acceptable in general but additionally not acceptable when you have a customer on the phone waiting 1-2 minutes before you can even find their account. What can we do to improve the speed? Are others facing the same? Thanks

Hello,I have a customer that is curious if there is a method to leverage the “Approvals” in the CRM - Sales Process - “Action Steps”, and create the Approvals in such a way that a hierarchy can exist. For example: Line Manager approvals first, and then the Director approvals second.Their requirement reminds me of the Purchase Order/Req Authorizations functionality with the “Routing Steps”.For what its worth, they are running Apps 10 “Aurena” on Software Update 19.  Thank you,Alex

Dear community,I wonder if we can export a product catalog (in xml) from IFS for customers.Does anbody have an idea?How to use it? 

When I select this particular customer for the sales Quotation, I do not get any list of values to show up when I choose the option. The resulting window has no items.Other customers are okay. I can’t seem to figure out the linkage as to why the dlgDynamicLov isn’t loading.Thank you.

Does anyone have documentation of this functionality in terms of what data it copies from the customer template? I’ve looked on the IFS documentation website but I can't seem to find the details on it. 

Hello, hivemind.We receive hundreds of enquiries in our “info@” account every week. Our receptionist creates Opportunities or Leads for our Business Development Team, based on whether or not they appear to be an existing Customer. Our Marketing Team needs to trace where our enquiries come from.I really hope that I’m missing a trick, but I can’t see any way of monitoring where an enquiriy came from when it’s for an existing Customer or how to follow that enquiry through to fruition? TIA.

How do I calculate tax on a customer order based on the original, undiscounted price rather than the discounted price? In the below example sales tax is calculated on discounted price. Customer order screenshot attached for reference.  

We have 1 customer that we must collect and remit sales tax for.  i have looked through the documentation and have successfully set up the collection portion.  I have been able to  capture and report over the collection piece.  However, what is the mechanism to remit these taxes?  I tried just entering a supplier invoice but the collections are held in a ledger account so I cannot clear the collections that way.

Hi,I have implemented a outbound (POST) request to 3rd party to transfer some information from IFS to their system, but to access their system I need to generate a token and then need to send the outbound request authorization as Bearer using that generated token.Can I fulfil this requirement only using Routing Rules and Addresses?Token Generation I’m getting a token as a result of above. Outbound RequestI should be able to use the generated token here to send the data.Please share if you have any sample setup for this..

Hi, I am trying to set up an event to notify customer order’s salesman about rejected approval process. We have set up approval process on customer order line. When one step is approved, the next step’s approver corretly gets an email about next step approval information.But when one approver reject the step, noone gets email.I tried to set up app. defined event STEP_REJECTED_NODOC (i didn’t use APPROVAL_ROUTE_REJECTED event, becuase it is supposed to be dedicated to Documents only). When I put my username in section “Mail to” (let’s say IFSUSR user) i correctly receive email with reject info. But i need to send the info of “rejecting” to salesman of customer order. I tried to put to “Mail to” this API: customer_order_api.get_salesman_code(&KEY03) that gives me back username of CO’s salesman, but in the “Application messages” i see error “Mail address ‘To’ field is not specified”. When i run the API in s

Hi everyone, We are currently studying how we could use the Call Center for our internal and external support to replace our old external call center system(s). At the moment we are using Apps9 UPD14, but we are planning to go forward with upcoming IFS version.What we are curious about, how others are actually using the system (in Apps9 or Apps10).How are you sending case report to customer? Are you using “Send e-mail message” function and writing/copying the resolution to customer or have you created custom printout that will be attached to case? Something else? Our customers are requiring quite extensive report for the cases, with dates, locations, all communication, resolution, hours used etc.. Where “sensitive data” e.g. software code changes, of the case could be saved that way the customer cannot see it. “Our Description” or “Our Resolution” could be one place as we are only offering support in English.And in gene

Hello,On the Representative 360 window, there is checkbox “Only Not Accessible by Representative” which is there in IFS Apps 9, but it is not available in IFS Cloud. Any idea if it was officially removed and why?

We have employees with apostrophe’s in their email address who need to receive emails from IFS App9 .  We receive the Application Error Message: Error while sending data... Caused by: javax.mail.internet.AddressException: Local address contains control or whitespace when trying to send emails to the recipients.  The recipient email works fine outside of IFS.  Is there a way to allow these emails to work within IFS??  We have even tried setting up a Distribution List with only that employee but ultimately the email needs to go to the individual recipient.  Examples in attached Word document.There was previous posting related to FSM but it is older and am not able to access any of the replies which is rather inconvenient since I now have to pose a new question.NOTE: we are just starting the upgrade to Cloud version but that is several months to a year before that happens and need to see if there is some sort of work around for this issue now.

We have an invoice PDF event set up to e-mail invoices to our customers.  Each customer has their own event.  Can we have one event and connect/utilize data from the Customer Master File to e-mail invoices to our customers.Event per customer time consuming and not as easy to manage.Appreciate any information. Gena
