HI Team,Could you please guide me is there any way.Can we define two different GL account to one manufacture part under posting control M1.Ideally this is scenario will arise when business want to buy to manufacture part in the market rather than manufacture on their own.We are thinking to use Control Types C32 -Accounting Group &  C46- Location Type, but the problem is  Location Type ‘Picking’ is available in all the places like during arrival, shop order etc.Regards,TecAlages

When trying to print a customer invoice I got this error:  

I am wanting to create a primary picking and a secondary picking location for my inventory.  I have tried availability controls to mark as “over stock” and have that availability control set to not auto reserve.  This works somewhat, but if the pick ticket is over the quantity in bins with out the availability control we struggled.  Replenishment happens daily to the optimized pick paths, but sometimes that isn’t fast enough and I would like to direct picking according to availability as well as FIFO.  Any options outside of availability controls?  

Hi,Is there a way to have a picklist generated and reported for a shop order but not have it automatically issue to the shop order? We have distinct separation between the operators who pick the stock and the operators who use the stock.We would like the responsibility of issuing to the shop order to sit with the person using the stock.

Am hoping someone can give me some guidance on how they manage price lists that are no longer valid. We operate on a system where haulage is included as part of the price per part. Which means that each price list has to factor the distance from the source to delivery point. As a result, we have a price list per delivery post code, per pricing level for all of our customers. Currently 22k price lists. We revise our prices approx twice per year, so the number of lists are growing. The update procedure we use (Migration scripts from CSV) takes a long time to run as it performs checks on previous lists. I would like to remove the price lists that are no longer valid to speed this process up. Is there anything anyone can suggest to remove those price lists or archive them perhaps?

Please help with Outlook Calendar Sync from Outlook to IFS.We configured Outlook synchronization with IFS Cloud and it works in one way(IFS->Outlook), but it doesn’t work in other way (Outlook->IFS). When exporting  quick report to Excel I get the error listed below.  This is a Crystal quick report. The computer was just given to a different user and new user profile was added and it seems that something needs to be pointing to the new use.  Any suggestions? 'CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.PropertyBag CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ReportDefModel.ISCRExportOptions.get_ExportOptionsEx()'.

When adding a view to a custom field, an error pops up when synchronizing.The customer follows the below steps.Create read only custom field for Purchase Order Lines Select statement using arguments order_no,line_no,release_noSELECT MAX(ifsapp.receipt_info.arrival_date) FROM ifsapp.receipt_info WHERE ifsapp.receipt_info.source_ref1 = :ORDER_NO AND ifsapp.receipt_info.source_ref2 = :LINE_NO AND ifsapp.receipt_info.source_ref3 = :RELEASE_NOData type of custom field: Date and format: Date Click on detailed views and add receipt_info_alt Approve and publish/synchroinze  Synchronize and it errors. Any solutions?  

Hi All  What is the basic data setup for Inter-Company order flow ? Any document to follow ?

We are using Apps10 Aurena and we have successfully installed CRM Panel into Outlook for one user to carry out tests but it is not installing successfully on my machine.I am able to install the Add-in and it is showing as installed in 365 but it is not showing in my Outlook client.I am on the same version of Outlook as my colleague where it has worked, I’m using the same XML file too.Has anyone else had trouble with this? Are we missing something?

This is more a general Aurena question than Distribution, but it has to do with the Customer Order page specifically.  Attempting to set a Subscription on a particular order, the Status field is not an available selection - which would be the most commonly used purpose for a subscription, yet fields like Site, Currency, Order Number, Order Type are all listed as possible selections - yet those are fields that can never change on an order. It also doesn’t have our custom fields in the list.  Can they be added or can the projection configuration be changed to select or exclude items in the list? Is the Subscription process really this poorly designed or am I missing something to configure it better so it can be used effectively?  In its current state, it is pretty useless for the things users would want to see.

Hi, One of our existing customers have changed their name and keeping the same org number. This is an old customer with many transactions (projects, invoices etc).I dont know the best way of doing this, change name or add a new customer Id? Will it cause problems with old transactions if we take the easy way and change the name?

Hello,running this window: Access → All (after searching for any business activity) causes a complete IFS system freeze.It refers to the view rm_acc_priv_all. Executing an SQL query that counts the rows in this view takes almost 40 minutes for me (select count(*) from rm_acc_priv_all).Is there any way to fix this issue? Best regardsMartinator

Hi, we are using IFS App10.It happens that some sales prices need to be changed at the stage of registration of the order. The customer order is then in the PLANNED status. We noticed that a change in the sales prices - prior to RELEASE of that order -  had the effect of feeding the CustomerOrder>History tab with the mention "Released" whereas the status in the header remains well in "Planned". We find that confusing. Is this an IFS bug?    

We are using IFS Cloud 23R1.  We have a customization that looks at the Business Opportunity Revision and performs a function based on the Active revision.  If the user forgets to select the Obsolete slider when creating the new revision and has two or more Active revisions, the custom action can’t perform the action. I don’t see a way to change the revision to Obsolete after it has been saved.  Has anyone else come across this problem?  Has anyone created a custom action to change the status of a revision?

Hi,Is there anyway for a user to control the numbering of the lines under Line No in Customer Order Lines in the Cloud?  At time of entry, the user can populate the Line No and Del No, but once they save the lines, IFS takes over and the lines are put into a different sequence.Thanks,Jo

Do we know, Pick by choice extended to functions other than Customer order and Shop Order. Functions like MR / MMR / Transport task etc.

We are using Apps 9.ScenarioWe have a customer order line connected to a negative charge line. The customer order line has two staged billing lines. An invoice was created for one of the staged billing lines. That invoice includes the negative charge line. The customer order line has been reserved and picked.IssueWhen trying to deliver the customer order line, we receive a message that Negative amounts are not allowed.Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to deliver this line? We are unable to disconnect the negative charge line from the customer order line because the order line has been partially invoiced. Or, does anyone have any suggested work arounds to resolve? Thank you!

Is it possible to mass update customer order lines Discount percent? The update would only be on open orders. Some orders we need to add a discount % but some custmers have 1500 open orders. Any suggestions?  

Below is a question raised by a customer. Is there a setting in Manual pegging that we do not have access to that would allow IFS Users to peg parts moving on a transport task?  Right now the only option is to peg to a customer order.

We have a 3rd party configurator that creates sales quotes from manufacturing site for sales site with one configured part with a price and more not configured parts with price 0. The structure is necessary to create a DOP order.Does anyone have experience / ideas how to create a purchase order out of this in the purchasing sales site? One line with the total purchase price would be fine.Thank you for any feedback!Regards Martina
