CRM Companion | Create Contact & Person

Hi All, 

I want to create a new CRM Contact from the Application CRM Companion, but I can’t without selecting an existing “Person” first, which is obviously a very constraining problem _ because I don’t have access to “Person” on this app _ and most of the time, the sales rep using this app wouldn’t have time to create a “Person”

Do you know how to get rid of this issue ?

Hi,

I don’t know which version of CRM Companion you are referring to but it should be possible both in Apps 10 and in IFS Cloud to create a new contact withouth adding a person first. In IFS cloud, you have different commands in Account screen to select if it is a new contact person or an existing person. If you add a new contact person, a person will be created automatically and added as a contact for the selected account. 


In Apps10, you can add a contact e.g. from the Customer Contacts screen. If you select the New Person option, a person will be created automatically and added as a contact for the selected customer.
