Condition code setting to default

When a new inventory part is added in a customer order line, the condition code by default is being set to "Normal" in the new 23R2 upgraded version(CFG).

Couple of questions 


1. What is the significance of the newly introduced condition code?
2. Does removing this condition code from the basic data, create issues in any of the existing modules?

 UIsers do not want the default to be set to Normal.

Hi @Hashane Bolonne,

 

Condition Code should appear only for parts with “Allow Condition Code” flag enabled in the master part record. 

 

The default Condition Code can be change from Part Condition Codes basic data screen.
