Can anyone tell me the minimum standard IFS permissions needed to give someone access to a forecast in the Demand Planner?

Hi, I want to add a custom field to the Purchase Requisition Lines view, which is based on two criteria to make the search unique.I've made a Read Only Custom Field with one of the key variables, but make it work for each line I need to add a second variable to my select statement. Problem is: I get an error when I want to finish creating the Custom Field.This is the field I want to add to Purchase Requisition Lines:Operation_DescriptionThis is what I got so far. SettingsSelect Statement:SELECT Operation_Description FROM Shop_Order_Operation WHERE Order_No = :Demand_Order_No AND Outside_Op_Item = :Part_No This is the Error that appears after clicking on ‘Finish’: And these are the results when I only use the Shop Order number as criteria:1) Description of the first line on de Shop Order 2) second criteria to make search uniqueDoes someone know what I am missing here?

Hello,We have a scenario where we need to transfer some of our inventory to be held in long term storage using a third party storage facility. We would then transfer some of that stock back to our location on an annual basis, based on forecasted demand. We will still own the material, and we want to be able to see the quantity of parts held in stock at that location so that MRP doesn’t try to plan any new purchases. However, we would need to allow a lead time of say 2 weeks to allow the transfer of any material back to our site. If we had some unexpected demand pop up, we wouldn’t want the stock at the off-site location to show as immediately available.I was looking into the use of remote warehouses & transport tasks to cover this. We have never used these so don’t have any experience with the set up etc. We are a single site company and have always maintained our inventory on site, as company owned material.I created a new remote warehouse with an availability control & transf

Hello Everyone, Is it possible to exclude a Purchase Order in status “Confirmed” from MRP supply calculation?  This is a very unique situation where we need the supply information on the PO to be excluded from MRP.  It seems the freeze status in the PO header might be an option but the user has already Confirmed the PO which makes this option unavailable.  There doesn’t seem to be anything available on the PO line either. We have considered cancelling the current PO and re-issuing with status freeze but it’s a very large PO with several hundred lines. We are in APPS 9.   Thanks

On the Purchase order Change order - What is the filter condition behind “Show Only New/Changed Lines”  

Hi,We have created some interco flows on IFS V10: PO from the affiliate client send to the affiliate supplier in order to create the customer order automatically. We have multi lines on internal PO and CO. When we released the Customer Order with the supply code "Purch Order Trans", an external PR is created per customer order lines but we need to generate only one external PR. is ti the standard? or there are some setting to generate one PR with muti lignes (same lignes of internal PO or CO) ?? could you please help me :) Regards,Sana

When we find quality issues on parts after they have been inspected and put in stock, how do we cancel the receipt in order to register a new inspection with rejected quantities? We have heard that we have to put the parts back to the arrival location to be able to cancel the receipt, but we cannot move inventory stock to the arrival location again. (not possible to select the arrival location as destination. Or when changing a transport task we can select the arrival location as destination but it is not possible to save since there is no PO reference and we cannot add it manually. We want to achieve:Correct PPM data/quality statistics Ability to send parts back to supplier or scrap Please help us find an approach to this problem.

Hi, I have several customers who want to reprint an invoice for a customer order because the price is not right, with the sales part.here is my feed: creation of the customer invoice debit ---- customer invoice credit  --- reprinting of the invoice by modifying the price of the items .in ifs it is not possible to reprint an customer invoice with the same sales parts  by modifying the price ... so how to do?

Hello,I’m looking into setting up the Intersite automation and have a question. You need to set an Internal Customer and Internal Supplier in the sites. I want to use an existing customer/supplier to do this as we already have that set up, it’s just manual. I can only find an option to “Create Internal Customer/Supplier” in the site, I can’t choose an existing one. Is it possible for me to do this?Thanks,Mike

Every module in IFS has the logic - first status planned and when ready to process release (purchase requisition, purchase order, sales quotation..) Apart from Customer Order whose lines are always in released status. That is causing our business troubles, parts not meant for MRP are considered by it, purchase requisitions are generated without project connection etc. We have to constantly search for ways to “trick” the system while our problems would be solved if also CO follows the general IFS logic. If there are business which want even planned lines to be considered in MRP, there is Release for MTRL planning option. Is there any way to preset CO having first planned status?

Hello Community, When raising a Purchase Requisition or Purchase Order, is there no way to consolidate the view of all lines in the document.  Having to toggle between Part Lines & No Part Lines tabs is problematic when you have high volumes to deal with.   What is the best transaction to view / manage these?

Hi Folks, Need your guidance here:Is there an option in IFS to not change the price on a line item if quantity is changed? We have a situation where an order line is entered with a certain price. The order takes a long time to fill and then the system reflects the new price when they try to change the quantity since now the price in IFS for that part has changed. I would like to know if there is a way to “lock” the price on a line item.  Thanks.

Hello, We are seeing this information message when a user manually receive/issue parts from a standalone material requisition. The message does Not pop-up when materials are receive/issue automatically. No expiry date is set up for the part. no availability control ID is set up at any level of the warehouse. the Asset class connected does not have an expiry date set up. No shelf life is defined for the part. revision is not phased out. Anyone knows what’s causing this?---------------------------IFS Applications---------------------------Reserving from expired quantity. Hi, I would like  the approver rules for a Puchase Order being derived from which parts that are ordered,  Like you can do with the Pre Posting tab in the Purchase requisitions rule. We now have a workaround using the coordinator, but this is prone for error. Any suggestions?

Hi, Anybody know where you can find back the supplier bank account a supplier payment was paid to?With payment method and payment address id I can go and check on supplier payment details but this could have changed in the meantime so would like to find the account used when payment was made (account included in payment file). Thanks,/Anna
