Can we remove the posting type M277 from the system if the client doesn't want additional entries recorded in the book keeping process?

Hi, By system I hope you meant ‘Posting Control’ window. If it is a completely new one which has not been used even once then it should be ok, otherwise removing a posting type from the system which has been used before might become an auditing issue. But then again I believe M277 is a standard posting introduced with related to Invoice matching process, so no harm keeping an additional record in the window either..
