Hello, Is it possible to set-up purchase requisition rules based on if the requisition $$ are based on part requisition lines vs. No part requisition lines?  For example:Non-Inventory:Greater than $5k goes to Approver AGreater than $25k goes to Approver B Inventory:Greater than $50k goes to Approver AGreater than $100k goes to Approver B It appears in the configuration you don’t have the option?

Hi All,Im in Apps10, UPD 11 and have the following scenario which needs to be setup. Appreciate your inputs on this.Scenario:Company 801 / Site 815Company 803 / Site 816Company 20 / Site 20Company 801 will buy parts from both Company 803 and Company 20.Customer ‘’AW-CUS-L’’ has been setup to represent Company 801 / Site 815. PRICAT message class is also setup. Suppliers are as follows;    There are 2 price lists.  ‘’AW-PL-L’’ price list contains the parts and prices for product that will be sold from the Company 803 / Site 816. ‘’AW-PL-L3’’ price list contains the parts and prices for product that will be sold from the Company 20 / Site 20.  When either price list is sent to Customer ‘’AW-CUS-L’’ using ‘Send Sales Price List’, we get this error “ORA-20110: ExtPricatHeader.DUPLOURCOMP: Approval denied - Our Id No not unique per supplier”. Questions:1.Is there a way around this? If not, can’t my scenario be accommodated using this?2.Any other suggestions to cater this requirement? Thanks

Hi, We are facing an issue in purchasing that are not able to add additional charges per shipment as most of purchase orders arrive in serveral shipements (partial deliveries). Currently the charges added to a purchase order will be taken proportionally to the received shipment. Only the charges of the shipment is known when the shipment arrive like custom, insurance, freight , others. So at the time of shipment receiving unit cost is incorrect as the charges are added partially to received parts.Kindly is there any way or workaround solution to add charges to received shipment.Thank you.Bilal DrayiMedical & Pharmaceuticals Services Company

We applied 3 patches to our Apps 10 UPD 10 environments last weekend that should not have impacted creating Purchase Orders, but we are now receiving the error message ‘FIELD INTRASTAT EXEMPT IS MANDATORY AND REQUIRES A VALUE’  when we try to save a PO for several US Suppliers (so Intrastat Exempt should not even come in to play. )  Just to see if checking that checkbox would fix it, I tried but still received the error.  Tried with several other Suppliers/PO and about have received the message when trying to save the PO and half were allowed to save the PO successfully. I can not see any differences in the set up of the Suppliers  that worked and the suppliers for whom I received the error when saving a PO.  Anyone else seeing this? Is this a bug? Thanks

Hello, After creating a supplier account, we would like to check, if the bank account number is correct (on Payment tab).. We would like to block the supplier account till the authorizer confirm that the account is right (to be sure that the cash trasnfer is going to a correct account). Also we want to mark the person who has added the account number and the one who has authorized it. How can we do it? Regards, Anna

Hello IFS Community, I am trying to find the part no’s price per material requisition line. According to the help, I can search the Inventory Part or Non-inventory part. However, when I multiple the quantity time Unit Price, the total is different from Total Amt/Base:For example, Material Requisition 337 Screenshot 1 If I search the part no  “16AAE0020” in the Inventory Part, the cost is $49.16 Screenshot 2Total := 49.16 * 3 =>147.48  according to the screenshot 1 the total amount is $84.87 My two questions are:1-how could I find the Purchase Order associated with the Material Requisition 337?2-how could I find the part no’s price “16AAE0020” in the  Material Requisition line? See screenshot 1 for more details.I will appreciate if you could provide screenshot with your answer.  

Hi, We have an issue where we are ordering items - let’s focus on ordering, but same case may come when we are manufacturing them inhouse - which should be order in sets. Lets say that there is set S with part no A & B A & B are different part nos in our warehouse, we need to have them separately Then, if for some reason, we get more part of A than B and there is same demand for both, we are getting a requisition Purchase order only for B but supplier is not accepting this order cause we can’t order a standaalone B product, we must order it always together with A is there a solution for that in IFS ? Like if we have demand for part B we always needs to get SAME demand for part A ? I know that Purchase sttructures can work in similar way but we have had a problem with Dissassembly this Set S into 2 separate products A & B. Like maybe it was doable  but still quite of additional work What do you think about that ?

Hi, It seems that IFS is set up more for global purchasing where supplier settings (Buyers, Delivery & Order confirmation reminders, etc.) apply to the group and cannot be set differently for different sites if the same supplier ID is used. Often sites in our business have slightly different approaches to managing and expediting suppliers, and site buyers want the autonomy to apply their own settings for suppliers. I am reaching out to see if anyone has experience, thoughts or suggestions on how this should be resolved? Thanks in advance.

 Hello All, I want to create a custom read-only field on the lines of the "Purchase order delivery status" screen (Procurement >  order > Analysis > Purchase order delivery status,  ( see attachement below ) to display the Receipt Note corresponding to each line (content of the Note field of the "Receipt" screen) (see attachement ).   The screen where we have to get the information notes:   If there are multiple receptions for the same line, the different notes will be separated by a semi-colon . I have tested a select query but it didn’t work, should i pass by Pl-SQL in this case ?  Thank you.

Dear experts, When I perform return on Receipt window for a inter-site purchase order , it throws an error mentioned that 'Location SS does not exist’ . However , this is the location which received the goods already . Is there any other step to fix this error ?  

Would like to be able to search for parts on description like a Google-like interface. Should bring-up closest matches and prioritize, etc. Jeff Kessler said we should do this. 

We have a part showing up in the Inventory Part Availablity Planning screen that no long has open demand on the order.  The order line has been delivered of all quanties already.  How do we get our planning screen to reflect that this order has no demand?

Is there a way to change the views in the Demand Plan Client?  I understand I can select ‘View’ and make selections that way.  However, even if ‘Query’ is selected, that information is not displaying on the screen.  Additionally, is there a manual for utilizing the DP Client?

I would like to know the rationale behind not enabling creation of purchase orders for One-time suppliers in IFS.We want to procure either product or service as a “one-off” with no expectations of using that supplier again. The objective would be to benefit from the control offered by use of a PO (with physical products “receipted” to the warehouse), but without all the Supplier record data housekeeping effort. Is there any way this can be done in IFS?TIA

In Apps 10, how do you move work order to finished status with a canceled purchase order connected to the work order?  The Requisition tab remains in Released status.  Need to close this in order to move the work order to finished status.

When creating a company based  on an existing company. Is it possible to choose which data is to be copied? otherwise what are the data which are copied by default? 

HI Team, Does anyone know how to segregate the purchasing type in PO within order code 1.We have a requirement where client is looking to exclude service Po’s from PO approval process because they are not aware of the Service price when the PO is created (PO’s raised with Zero price).So we need to exclude those PO’s from PO approval process. is there any way that we can segregate such PO’s and exclude service PO’s from PO approval process. Here PO approval process is done in different application via using integration not in IFS.there is an option - Purchase code which give the information about purchase type , but there is a risk user can create PO belongs to different Purchase type with purchase code-Service and zero price and exclude those PO’s from approval process.  Can anyone please suggest me how to exclude service PO’s from PO approval.

Hi We have having real issues with Customer Orders for a new customer not getting picked up on the Batch Create Collective Customer Invoice, we have copied the customer set up to match identically to our other customer where it does work. Does anyone know of some ‘hidden’ area or part of the set up that we could potentially be missing?ThanksHayley

We wish to implement a system whereby if a purchase requisition is raised against a specific CUSTOMER, then the subsequent purchase order that is created will require authorisation by a manager. I know purchase auth rules can be set up for specific suppliers but is there anything for a specific customer? 

Is it possible to cancel or delete a Released Customer Schedule?  I made an address error on a schedule and I need to get rid of it.  Is this possible?
