Hi @horst00c , below text is from online help for the activity “ Enter Basic Data for Customs Statistics Number”
“Use this activity to view, enter, and delete customs statistics number records. These numbers are used to classify goods for customs declarations. This optional task is to be performed by a system administrator or equivalent person.
The TARIC classification, consisting of approximately 20,000 statistical codes enables coordination of customs fees between EC members. The Harmonized Commodity and Coding System (HS) is used by most countries for transportation, customs, and trade statistics. The European Community has extended the HS and established a coding system used in combination with the TARIC (Tarif Intgr Communautaire) classification system. If you use this functionality, you should use the standard statistical numbers for importing goods to or from the European Community.”
According to above text, Custom Stat Numbers are common for all EU countries. Hence I believe it is entered as basic data, without relating to individual countries in IFS. Thanks.
Hello Ravinatha,
thanks for your response. Yes it is true, that within the EU this is probably all the same. However we have sites in non-EU contries like USA, Australia to name a few, that use their own numbers, therefore the inquiry.

Agree with @horst00c , while most EU countries use a similar class, that isn’t helpful when there is a site in US, UK, Italy, and China like we have, which means we have at least 4 different classes and types of numbers.
Unfortunately we don’t have a way to shorten the list or make it site specific either.
