In IFS Cloud 23R2, I created a fixed asset and posted an acquisition value using the Acquisition Value Adjustment per Book screen. The transaction posted successfully, a voucher was created, and the accounting period is open. The asset has a depreciation method assigned with start year and period entered.When I attempt to run a depreciation proposal for this asset and period, I receive the error:“Not possible to post an empty depreciation proposal”I need help identifying what is preventing the system from calculating depreciation.

Hi All,We have a business case where the Business Development (BD) department have the responsibility of managing company assets used in exhibitions, trials, training and testing.The assets are a mixture of purchased and internally manufactured parts. Each asset that needs to be managed is allocated a unique asset number by BD and held on a register within BD.  What is required is the following: The ability to schedule the allocation of an asset to one of the above activities (exhibitions, trainings, trails, testing etc)Allocate an asset to a responsible person for the duration of the activity Record its location Have a record of any applicable servicing and calibration intervals Any insights or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. How can I create a single work order for a parent object with multiple work tasks linked to individual child objects using a PM? For example, multiple child pole structures should be associated with a single circuit structure. The goal is to have the circuit as the main object in the work order, with the poles represented as objects in the corresponding work tasks. 

I have an operator trying to set a work task to work done and gets the error:“The Pm Action Calendar Plan “1” is used by 1 rows in another object (Pm Action Calendar Plan).We have tried regenerating the calendar and no luck.  Any ideas??? 

I am looking to add technical information of equipment that we are managing. Information like software state, firmware versions, etc. Where is best to input that info so that it can be searched and shown when looking at Part Serial or even in Inventory? I know there are fields like Technical and Characteristics but not sure how I add those or what level of access i need on my profile.

Hi Experts,When I try to update Task Priority, the following error will be there.“Task Availability Pattern already exists”.  I can see some Availability data under Scheduling information But I dont undertand the connection between Prority and Availability??I can only update the Prority once I deleted Availability line then if I update Priority again it will create this Availability line??Availability is Setup againt the Customer Location linked to the Object. Please clarify this behavior?  Thanks,KM

Hello,I’ve created a custom reference field in the Functional Objects screen in IFS Cloud 23R2. The LOV linked to the custom field is ‘EquipmentFunctional’. I’m able to add the custom field to the screen and values are populated as expected from the LOV.But when I click on the data (since it is an hyperlink), it does not navigate to the respective functional object record. Using the Page Designer:If we leave the custom field as ‘Editable’, when we click on the data, the screen just refreshes and stays on the existing functional object screen and does nothing. If we leave the field as ‘Read-Only’, it opens a new window and redirects to the functional object screen but does not display the relevant record to be viewed. For example: it needs to display the functional object ‘01010170’.I would like the reference field to be editable and should be able to navigate to the respective functional object record. What am I missing in this process? Please let me know.

Hello,maybe someone can consult me how it is possible to design through Page Designer the dialog window “Pre Posting” in the form “Prepare Work Order”?Need to hide one field and cannot find where to do it.I open Page Designer but cannot find the place where to do it. There is no such dialog between listed Dialogs, also cannot find it between the lists and in other places:Where could I modify Pre Posting dialog window?Thank you beforehand:)

ERROR: The Inventory Part in stock object does not exist.I’m in APP9 and have 2 work orders that are project connected. We have used move serial to inventory functionality to move the serial object into stock. I’ve confirmed they are in stock and project connected. The work order status was reviewed, all postings are authorized and all lines are not invoiceable on the transfer to customer order screen. When the user tries to change work order status to Finished, this error is received. I’m unsure how to resolve this issue and didn’t see anything in other posts with this same issue that would help me.

Hi All,I have a scenario once the workorder has been created from the PM schedule, the workorder completion date must be within the particular period. One of the Maintenance department’s KPIs is to perform the work order within that particular time period. If it’s going beyond that period, it’s considered as ‘Over due’. Then that will impact their KPI. In IFS, do we have a method(either lobby or field) to track this work order completion Overdue. Any suggestions for this scenario?Thanks & Best Regards,Nipun

Hi,I am bit confused about the replacement PM’s,Suppose I have 3 Pm’s. P1 P2 and P3.P3 is replaced by P2 and P2 is replaced by P1. Now if we generate work order having same planned week, consider w1 as work order for all PM’s.       1.If I cancel related work orders in P2. What happens to the P1 work task?        2.Does work task of P1 only depends on P3 not on P2?

When a work order is created from the PM, the map position (latitude and longitude) is populated based on the functional object linked to the PM. However, the technical class is not being populated. 

We are having an issue where when we try and register arrivals - Receive with Serial / Lots this error appears. Has anyone come across this and can help point me in the right direction? I have raised to IFS as a potential bug following the release of UPD28 as that is the only change we have introduced recently but wondered if anyone was able to help resolve it whilst I wait for an update from IFS as this is having a massive impact on our business. Thanks,Lisa

Hi, We’re trying to understand how the replacements by PM actions works. Is there any good documentation on it? Couldn’t find it. We’re wondering if it will still work if the PMs that would be replaced are on different dates. Do you need to ensure that if PM_1_Yearly is replaced by PM_2_Yearly,  will it do that if PM_1 and PM_2 have different dates? Thanks

Hi All,Can someone explain me, the relation between Transaction code CO-WTISS and the Object ID in ‘Inventory Transaction History’ window? Object ID is visible for WTISS transactions, but not for CO-WTISS. Also, not sure why the Object ID column is not visible from Inv. Transactions History in latest IFS versions (eg: 24 R2) Expecting your thoughts on this. Thank you.
