We are running IFS10 with MWO Service app version 10.

  • ✅ Login works fine on newer iPads (iOS 18.5).

  • ❌ On iPad 5th Gen (stuck on iOS 16.7.11), login fails with “Service not reachable.”

  • iOS cannot be updated further on these devices.

Business Impact:
Our field engineers widely use older iPad 5th Gen devices. Replacing them would mean significant hardware costs and logistics challenges. We need to know if there is a planned MWO v10 update to restore compatibility with iOS 16.7.11, or if an older working IPA build can be used temporarily.

Hello Community team,

I’m following up on my earlier message regarding the MWO Service app v10 login failure on iPad 5th Gen (iOS 16.7.11), where the error “Service not reachable” occurs.

Recap of issue:

  • Works fine on newer iPads (iOS 18.5).

  • Fails on iPad 5th Gen (stuck on iOS 16.7.11 – cannot update further).

  • These devices are widely used by our field engineers.

Business urgency:
This issue is now becoming critical for operations. Replacing the devices would involve substantial cost and logistical challenges, and it impacts daily field service work.

Request:

  • Please confirm if there is a planned MWO v10 update that will restore compatibility with iOS 16.7.11.

  • If not, advise whether an older IPA build that supports iOS 16.7.11 can be deployed temporarily.

We would appreciate a prompt response so we can take appropriate action and minimize service disruption.

Thanks,
Hardik

@hardik From RND side, we tested on a iOS 16.3 device and we didn’t encounter any login issue. We could log into the app without a problem.

To help us support you better could you please let us know a bit more details about the issue you observed?

  • At what point in the login process did you get this error? Were you able to add the login credentials? Did the initialization start or did the issue happen before that?

@Gayani Dissanayake
User had reported below:-

“Yesterday (after a long time) I wanted to start and sync my MWO app. It took a very long time and I had to restart it several times. I thought about disconnecting from the app and logging in again, but now I can't connect anymore and, of course, can't log in”user is using IPAD 5th generation (iOS 16.7.11)

MWO version is 10.27.1535.0
