Hello everyone,I am currently testing Sales and Operations Planning in IFS Cloud and have successfully configured a basic Product Family and S&OP plan.So far I have:Created an MS Level 0 Product Family Created the Planning Structure linking MS Level 1 parts Created an S&OP plan Successfully copied forecast and supply data from MS Level 1 using Copy S&OP FamilyThe S&OP Grid is populated correctly and I can work with forecast and supply data.My next goal is to evaluate capacity using Sales and Operations Planning Load Analysis, but I am struggling to understand the required setup and prerequisites. When opening Sales and Operations Planning Load Analysis, the screen remains empty and I am not sure:What setup objects are required before Load Analysis can be used? Is a Resource Routing required on the Product Family or on the MS Level 1 parts? Does RRP need to be executed before data becomes available? How are Capacity Scenarios created and connected to S&OP? What is the

If a part has a receive case inspection code of C, with a qty to inspect of 5, and the part has a purchasing control plan, with different inspection codes and qty to inspect, what quantity to inspect amount will get pulled into the receipt as the quantity to inspect.

Hi everyone,I'm looking for a way to import opening inventory stock quantities into IFS Cloud using a Migration Job.Has anyone configured a Migration Job for this purpose? If so, could you share the procedure, or an example of the configuration? Thanks in advance!

Hello everybody, what could the problem be if I can’t find the cost center in the manual supplier invoice? The cost center is valid. Thank you in advance.

Dear Team,Has anyone here moved from IFS Applications 10 to IFS Cloud while retaining an on-premises deployment? I would be particularly interested in hearing from long-standing IFS customers in the manufacturing sector. We as company that has been using IFS since Apps 8, subsequently upgraded to Apps 10, and maintained continuity of support. As it evaluates IFS Cloud, we are trying to understand the practical licensing and commercial implications of making this transition.A few questions for those who have been through the process: Oracle: Did your migration require Oracle Enterprise Edition, or did this depend on your existing architecture and licensing? IFS Cloud Foundation / Remote Deployment: Were these additional subscriptions required for your on-premises deployment? Additional tools: Were BPA, Industry Lobbies, the 2c8 Modelling Tool and similar components essential to the upgrade, or were they optional depending on your requirements? Licensing continuity: What happened to

We are currently using PMs with Performed Date Based set to Yes. We have a customer scenario where this setting needs to be changed to No.Our plan is to enable Revision Control and make the change to the active PMs. However, these PMs already have work orders (WOs) generated, and the WOs are in different statuses. When we change Performed Date Based to No, the system adjusts the plan based on the Valid From date and Calendar criteria. In this concerned scenario, WOs have been generated for future maintenance periods as their lead time (30-day in below example). It looks like the system skips the months where the WOs are already in Finished status, as expected. However, it creates duplicate plan lines for months where a plan line already exists with an associated WO in Released status. Please help to understand the best options other than marking duplicated lines Generatable = No

My organization has recently moved to IFS and i am hoping that there are a couple fleet managers out there that are managing multiple sites and equipment types and have some good insights into object hierarchies.

Hi Team good afternoon, I have a situation, I have to log in to the Microsoft screen every time. I close business reporter and reopen it. Even within the same day. I have chosen the option to have it stop asking me every time but it’s still asking me every single time.Do you know if exist a procedure to IFS Business Reporter can save my credentials, please? Thank you!

Business Need / Current ChallengeWe currently maintain forecasts in Demand Planning using Combined Flows because planners forecast at an aggregate business level (product family, product code, customer group, etc.) and rely on Demand Planning to distribute demand to lower levels using established ratios. However, we have not found a standard method to bulk load or mass update Adjusted Demand directly into Combined Flows. Updating demand manually through Demand Client is extremely time-consuming and not scalable when hundreds or thousands of part/customer combinations are involved. QuestionsCan Adjusted Demand be imported directly into a Combined Flow? If yes, what is the recommended method? If no, what is the design rationale for this limitation? Does IFS provide a supported import, migration job, API, or interface to mass-update Adjusted Demand values at the Combined Flow level? What is the recommended approach for organizations that forecast at an aggregate level and need to bulk-lo

I was tasked with adding a new Custom Attribute to an existing Entity Configuration in our IFS Cloud 26 R1 Test environment as part of our preparation for upgrading from Apps 10 UPD 19 to Cloud 26 R1. This was also an opportunity for me to become more familiar with the process.I successfully added the Custom Attribute, but when attempting to publish it, I encountered the error shown in the screenshot below. To troubleshoot the issue, I have tried unpublishing the entity, disapproving the Custom Attribute, disapproving the Entity Configuration itself, and then reapproving and republishing everything. However, I continue to receive the same error.Has anyone encountered this issue before or know what might be causing it? I would appreciate any insight into the underlying cause of the error and the specific steps needed to resolve it.

Does anyone have any documentation regarding the IFS Freight Interface for Cloud 26 R1?Additionally, is Pacejet the only known third-party software solution compatible with IFS Cloud 26 R1, or are there alternative solutions available?

I am getting the attached error when trying to specify an Internal Supplier and Supplier Site.  The error seems to suggest that there are already Purchase Parts at this site connected to this Supplier.  Do the parts need to be set up differently or is this an issue with the Supplier set up?

Hello We are investigating the planning logic for an inter-site Distribution Order.SetupDemand Site: AB Supply Site: ZX Supply method: Inter-site Distribution Order Route assigned in the Supply Chain Matrix: Friday only Internal Transport Lead Time: 4 days External Transport Lead Time: 0 Transport Lead Time: 0ScenarioA Distribution Order is created with:Wanted Delivery Date = 27-Oct-2026 (Tuesday)The system automatically recalculates:Planned Delivery Date = 23-Oct-2026 (Friday) Planned Ship Date = 23-Oct-2026 (Friday)We tested both:Customer calendar with weekdays only External transport calendar with weekends includedNeither setup affected the calculation. However, the Planned Receipt Date is still significantly later than the Planned Delivery Date, indicating that the Internal Transport Lead Time is being considered somewhere in the process.Planned Receipt date - 02-Nov-2026(Monday)QuestionIs it standard behavior that the route is evaluated first and the Planned Delivery Date is adjust

I would like some help understanding the scope of Deprecation and Removal Plan (DARP) for Work Order Based Service. I want to start moving processes from “work order” based services to “request based” services, but we’d appreciate knowing exactly what’s coming before we start making big changes:To anyone who has more information on this, please help us with the following questions:1. Will Maintenance still rely on work orders and tasks for things like PM Actions / Programs and Plans after 27R1 with full support?2. Will Serial Objects, Functional Objects (EquipmentObjects) functionality ultimately remain the same after 27R1 with full support?3. Will we still have access to our historical work orders. In other words, will we still be able to pull up the historical work orders page and see what services we completed with all the basic data we currently have after 27R1?4. Will the MWO Service App remain the primary way can receive information from our techs at customer sites so long as the

Hi all, i have a functional demand planner server at 23R2 with some demo data and it accept all kinds of commands.Dashboard also is ok and with running status . Hello IFS Team,we are currently implementing Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) user and group provisioning for IFS Cloud using the SCIM interface. Our environment is operated as a managed service in Microsoft Azure. Each customer has its own Microsoft Entra tenant, while the IFS Cloud environment is hosted in a separate managed Azure tenant operated by us.During our design phase, we identified that the standard Microsoft Entra SCIM provisioning service typically requires the SCIM endpoint to be reachable by Microsoft's cloud-based provisioning service via public IP addresses. Microsoft also provides an alternative architecture based on the Microsoft Entra Provisioning Agent, which allows provisioning to SCIM-enabled applications located in private networks without exposing the SCIM endpoint to the Internet. We would like to understand whether the IFS Cloud SCIM implementation supports this scenario.Could you please confirm the following:Does IFS Cloud support SCIM provisioning through the Mi

Hello everyone,we are currently planning a new on-premise IFS Cloud High Availability installation.According to the IFS documentation, a customer-provided hardware or software load balancer must be used in front of the Middle Tier cluster. IFS does not provide a dedicated load balancer solution and the load balancer must support session stickiness. [docs.ifs.com], [docs.ifs.com]We are now evaluating possible options and would like to learn from other customers' experiences. Some questions:Which load balancer are you using with IFS Cloud HA? Are you using Citrix ADC, F5, NGINX, HAProxy or another solution? Is the solution vendor-supported in your environment? How long have you been running it in production? Have you experienced any issues with session stickiness, WebSockets, SSL termination or upgrades? Would you recommend your current setup? We are particularly interested in customer experiences from Europe, but feedback from all regions is highly appreciated.Thank you in advance for sha

Background and Findings1. Reflecting changes from a Site 2 customer order to a Site 1 customer orderIn the inter-site order process, changes made to a Site 2 customer order are reflected in the corresponding Site 1 customer order.→ Confirmed that this works as expected.2. Reflecting changes from a Site 1 customer order to a Site 2 customer orderIn the inter-site order process, changes are made to a Site 1 customer order, and the Send Order Confirmation command is executed.→ The changes are reflected in the Site 2 purchase order, but they are not reflected in the Site 2 customer order.QuestionsIs it possible to reflect changes made to a Site 1 customer order in the corresponding Site 2 customer order using standard functionality? If so, could you please advise on any required settings, processing conditions, or actions that need to be performed? If there is a separate standard process for reflecting changes from a Site 1 customer order to a Site 2 customer order, could you please provide

Can Azure API Management be used as an API Gateway in front of the IFS Cloud APIs, providing source IP allowlisting, additional authentication/authorization, request logging/monitoring and rate limiting? In addition, can direct API access to the IFS Cloud endpoint be restricted so that API traffic is accepted only via the customer's Azure API Management gateway?

Hello all,We want to use the supplier calendar to reflect the impact of Chinese New Year in the planning leadtime. But for some reason I cannot seem to let it work. The steps taken so far:Created calendar; Entered exceptions to the calendar (start of CNY + start up time); Generated the calendar; Added the calendar to the supplier; Run Calculate Purchase Leadtime.I would expect the expected leadtime in the inventory part would be updated. But I do not see a change. Is the correct way to set it up? Any idea's, tips and tricks are highly appreciated.

Hi All,As mentioned in several community posts, IFS is phasing out the shared document repository type with the introduction of support for file storage across multiple locations.According to the IFS documentation, although shared repositories are being deprecated, it is still possible to enable them manually. Customers may continue to use this functionality until IFS releases full support for multiple file storage locations.I would like to inquire whether any other customers or partners have manually enabled shared repositories and are currently utilizing this setup. Any insights or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Chamath

We have some historical proj trx with Job Costing Updated enabled.I want to exclude these transactions from job costing. Means Job Costing Updated to be N/A.How can I do this, please?Thank you.

Hello,I am trying to understand the standard date logic in the Purchase Order screen. In our Purchase Order Line screen, we have the following date fields:"Wanted Delivery Date" "Planned Receipt Date" "Planned Delivery Date" "Promised Delivery Date"I noticed the following behavior:When I change "Wanted Delivery Date", "Planned Receipt Date", "Planned Delivery Date", and "Promised Delivery Date" also change. When I change "Planned Receipt Date", "Planned Delivery Date", "Wanted Delivery Date", and "Promised Delivery Date" also change. When I change "Planned Delivery Date", "Planned Receipt Date" changes. As far as I understand, these are standard IFS fields, and there does not appear to be any conditional field/customization causing this behavior. My main question is: Why does changing "Planned Receipt Date" cause "Wanted Delivery Date" to change as well? What is the standard IFS logic or calculation behind the relationship between these dates? This creates a problem for our purchasing proc
