If a part has a receive case inspection code of C, with a qty to inspect of 5, and the part has a purchasing control plan, with different inspection codes and qty to inspect, what quantity to inspect amount will get pulled into the receipt as the quantity to inspect.

Hi @Anneemaree,

As I remember it, the highest sample size from the active control plan is what populates the Qty to Inspect field.

Thanks @Yathartha Karunananda so it seems to ignore the qty to inspect on the supplier for purchase part and only uses the value from the control plan data point lines?

Hi @Anneemaree,

Yes. This is mentioned in the product documentation:

Hi @Anneemaree

If Mandatory Analysis is enabled, the receipt initially uses the active control plan's highest sample size, rather than automatically using 5.

Is Mandatory Analysis enabled for this supplier/part, or is only the control plan mandatory?

Thanks,

Gleb
