Dear Community, I hope this topic finds you well. I am facing a problem. I would like to extract data from several different screens in one IFS environment and Load it another IFS environment. Is this even possible? How is this done (Standard tool, ETL tool)?Best regards,Jakob

Hi,We are currently working on IFS Apps9 ( physical ) but for DR purposes I’m investigating the possibility of moving both the database and application servers to virtual ( Hyper-V ).Has anyone done this, is there anything ‘special’ that is needed to be done to Oracle ( or IFS for that matter ) I was going to give this a go but thought I’d ask here first.Thanks,Mick.

Our Staging environment is currently being used to train new companies transitioning to IFS later this summer and contains data necessary for the upcoming AST.  We are receiving an error message when trying to create a new customer. The error message requires the Print Withholding Tax box to be checked. However the check box is not visible. The check box is not manually suppressed.  When printing reports, we receive an error for missing or mismatched components.     Upon further investigation it appears the Application Server is at UPD8 and the database is at UPD11.  We believe this is the source of the errors.  How can we realign the Application Server and Database to be on UPD11?    

All, We are currently on APPS10 UPD8 upgrading to UPD11.  Where can we find the updates for Demand Planner?   Thanks

HIOn Abbot (test environment ) I changed the mobile version from u6 to u17. The data on the Overview screen does now seem to be blank ( even using the default Field Service design ). Can you think why this would be. Any actions that normally have to happen on a big upgrade jump?Note : Smart client is still on the old version - R6 U6. Maybe that is an issue? thanks David 

Hi  We currently run IFS V.9. Can anyone tell me the actual date that this goes end of life please / out of support. Also, is there a date for when V.10 also goes EOL please? Trying to decide whether to migrate to V.10 and how long we would be on it before needing to migrate to IFS cloud.Many thanks, David

Hi All,We’ve received UPD 14 from IFS which includes JDK 1.80_321 for the middleware.  Does anybody have a list of what JDK 1.80_321 provides to the middleware as updates?

Hi FriendsIn previous version Apps8 you can clean and drop an ifs module for example Accrul calling to AccrulCl.sql or accruldr.sql. I can not find this king of files in uppers version example Apps9 and Apps10.How can I remove a module from IFS ?Regards

Hi Community,  Does anyone know or use MDM in IFS 10 .   Is this a separate license tool or created with existing IFS.    How can I use MDM in IFS Application?   What is the configuration of this MDM tool?   Please advise us and suggest any open source MDM tool to use with IFS applications. Thanks in advance

In our upgrade from 6.7 to 6.15, some of the ad hoc reports upgrade without issue and some do not respond when the upgrade option is selected. Short of recreating the failing reports, is there some expertise around what may be getting in the way of the upgrade? 

in our upgraded version of FSM mobile(iOS 15.4.1, FSM 6.15), product and product serial are set as hyperlinks on the Debrief overview and open options to copy, add to contacts or open iMessage. is this an Apple thing or something that can be turned off?I’m hoping this is something that comes with an “Oh, yeah, go to x and do y and it will stop that from happening.”

When attempting to setup the account in Account Manager 10 for our test environment on my android pad, I get the error:  Exception:  Offline.  The steps that produce the error are: Load Account Manager 10 Click ‘Create account’ Type in the System ID Type in the TAS URL Click ‘Done’ This routes to our SSO login page Type in UserID Type in Password Click ‘Done’ And that is where I receive the error.  I have successfully setup the Account on my Android phone without any issues.  My pad is Android 7 (fully updated, can’t go to a newer release) and my phone is Android 10. I have checked and verified that the System ID, URL, UserID and Password have been entered correctly.  If I go directly to the URL I login without issue to the customer portal. Any suggestions on what it might be?

the release notes are somewhat vague and I don’t use iOS in my real life, so I need to ask what I’m doing wrong even though I feel a bit like an luddite even asking ...Release 14 says iOS multi select is available for Photo Library now along with access to the Attachment card to add details.  Release 11 says that iOS multi select is done with a ‘select’ buttonin app, whether I select a pic or long press to get the select button, I go to the Attachment card - which then saves and takes me to the attachment screen. How do I select more than one pic in iOS mobile? 

in an upgrade from 6u7 to 6u15, we’ve been getting an error on the product screen, productlookup and various other places with a product search that says there is an unrecognized business object: structure_parent_id.If I open FSM Codes, the code name is there with the expected values. If I do sql query on the metrix code table, I can see it - and the error will go away temporarily as well - but figure out why I keep getting the message.For example, this morning I got the error when I first logged in. After I did a sql query to look at the data, I now can’t trigger it again anywhere. Very odd.Have you seen this or something similar before? I’m at a loss. I’d appreciate any direction anyone has with this as it’s taking far to long to figure out … Geoffrey

Hi everyone. This is in regards to IFS 9. Right now when I have been applying deliveries or performing reconfigurations on IFS instances, whenever there is an error that results in the IFS instance becoming unusable I have been taking a snapshot of the server the instance is running on before hand and then rolling back to that state. I’m noticing some issues when I do it like this however:Sometimes this causes an issue where wls diagnostic files keep being generated and not deleted. This causes all the space on the drive to be filled and the instance eventually stops working until all the diagnostic files are deleted and the as server is stopped and restarted. Reconfigurations no longer work properly. When I perform a reconfiguration it has errors. The instance still works afterwards, but the node managers no longer seem to function properly. As mentioned above, the node managers stop working properly. For example, running the administration script “stop_http_server” or “start_http_ser

Hi Everyone I’m trying to install a weblogic delivery and getting a recurring error message. This is on IFS Apps 9.Client version 9.0.60.0 Server version 6.90.21.0. I am getting a “failed executing build target” error. whenever the installer gets to the “installing middleware server message” After checking the pre-installer.log files, I find this notable error message:ORI’ve tried this installation a couple times on different test instances, and get this error on different files as can be seen above. I initially thought this might be a permissions issue, but after checking permissions on the folders running the installer as admin should be granting full access to files and folders. I’ve found online that the java.io.filenotFoundException can be generated when a file is in use and trying to be written to. Do any services need to be stopped in order to apply this delivery? I ran the stop all servers administration script prior to executing, but this doesn’t seem to be enough.  Thanks!Lav

We installed IFS10/Update 13 yesterday and ran into the same problem as bescribed in Problem with installation Update 10 for IFS 10 | IFS Community. The folder D:\<ifs10>\ifs_home\mw_home\mws was empty. It was therefore not possible to start Installer or mws-svr.  Luckily we had a backup of the last D:\<ifs10>\ifs_home\mw_home\mws. After copying the files to the right place it was possible to start the Installer again and then reconfigure.Anothing issue. The installation of Update 13 took 22 hours. The reason is that we have a lot of Word Orders and Work Order Tasks. In Update 13 there are several POST-scripts for WO/WOT

We see that the missing copy/paste functionality for Travel Expenses is still missing in UPD15 in IFS10. There is no Duplicate functionality either. This is really something our users are missing. It’s available in IEE.  The same topic has been raised around the Community.Aurena - Duplicate Line | IFS CommunityAurena Vs Enterprise Explorer | IFS Community What is IFS Roadmap for supporting this?

Is there any documentation where changes between updates can be found (preferably in a table format; excel) so it can be easily compared with previous updates? Also, including bugfixes included in the update with the respective modules effected. This would be helpful to compare and differentiate between updates.

Anyone already did the Windows 10 Update 20H2 released a few weeks ago and faced problems with IFS 10 Upd 9 ? Any word when it will be certified by IFS ?  

Our network admin has pushed out the extension to most of computers in our company. Users still have to go to Chrome store to enable it. Is there a way to automatically enable it to save the manual step? Thanks.Wen
