Hi Communitywe want to connect a "real" DMS to our IFS via interface for various reasons. The question came up if this is possible via SOAP or REST. We are using current Apps 10 with update 8. Does anyone know which IFS version is necessary to use the REST?We do not receive any information on this from IFS.André

Hi,I'm setting up a new Notify ME configured notification with 3 actions buttons.IFS version 10 UPD 14.The problem is just 2 of them are enabled.Here is the main select with the fields action set: SELECT 'PlgAprovadores' AS item_type,       '' AS type_description,       'AP^' || b.proposta_id AS ifs_id,       SYSDATE AS notification_date,       b.status_proposta AS status,       1 action_1,       1 action_2,       1 action_3FROM   &AO.plg_aprovadores_app a As you can see below, 1 botton is disabled.A want all of them enabled.Any ideas what to do?  Many thanks,Alexandre Bicalho.

We are upgrading to IFS10 and will only be using the IEE. Our people keep trying to use the Aurena option and we would like to remove it from the landing page. Is that possible?

As we know, there will be no Sticky Notes in IFS Cloud.What did you do with the already existing Sticky Notes from Apps9 (or other old versions)?Do you use the Notes function in the masks or Custom Fields or something other?We are using them a lot in Apps 9 and we have currently no good idea how to migrate or make the data available in IFS Cloud. So what is the common praxis with it or what is the suggested solution from IFS. Best regards,Andreas

We are at the beginning of the upgrade journey but having only been on Apps9 for 2 years the business are a little reluctant on upgrading.Wondering if anyone else has experienced the same, and if anyone is choosing to remain on restricted support or do they pay to uplift to extended beyond the IFS product lifecycle?

I have this folder structure:ifsroot1fsroot2ifsroot3for different installations. I do not fancy that part from the help file:Place the config file to its default locationThe default path for the kubeconfig file is c:\user\<YourUser>\.kube\config. Copy the file ifsroot\config\kube\config to c:\user\<YourUser>\.kube folder since I need to do it every single time I decide to use ifsroot1, 2 or 3.This part seems cleaner in my view as you don’t risk to have unintended config file:Powershellps> $env:KUBECONFIG = "ifsroot\config\kube\config" Cmdcmd> set KUBECONFIG=ifsroot\config\kube\config But what about --kubeconfig directive?. We are currently testing in Aurena using SSRS reports and have noticed that the parameters from IFS are not being passed to SSRS.  Does this functionality exist?

Using EE in apps 10 -In the Sales Basic Data i have a custom field created to show Primary Market  in the Markets tab.I now have been to as to have this column also in the Business Opportunities page and be able to search by this column.Can i duplicate the custom field that is on the one page into the other page and as required search on this field?

Hi Everyone, I am working on task to apply GET Apps10 version to customer code line, who is on Apps10 UPD13.  Installation guidelines document from https://ifs.sharepoint.com/sites/GlobalExtension  mentions that GET can be either retrieved from ‘Ext Archive’ or from LCS.  If I want to create harvest extractor file for UPD13 version from LCS using ‘http://lcs.corpnet.ifsworld.com/login/secured/buglnw/IfsApplicationUpdateOvw.page’ ,   will it include cumulative files from GET base version and up to UPD13.  I used to follow this approach while applying GET for Apps9 customer.  But document says to get RTM version + required UPD version.     Other option is to extract  GET files

This error appears during UPD when a build fails. The _ant_generatedb will fail within a few minutes with the following error - Ant property "targetVersion" not set. This issue is because code generator has failed due to code generator files for the UPD you’re applying, hasn’t been updated properly in the build home. You will have to compare these two files:\build_home\source\fndbas\zip\ifs-codegenerator.zip (copy and extract in your user folder location)\build_home\build\IfsBuildTasks\developer.studio.libsSee if the version.txt has the version from latest UPD (from Archive) or does it have a different version applied from a hotfix. Then manually merge the correct file from Archive because the automatic merge in ISD tool will not merge the correct file.

Hi all,APPs 10 Upd 11.It use to be the case that running the ifshome backup prior to installing a new delivery would take around 40 mins to complete by running the create backup script as admin.However, now it is taking over an hour to complete for a 20gb backup. After it passes the hour mark, this message appears and no backup is created. SEVERE: Panic message: Watchdog kicked in, operation takes too long time! Aborting… So, increased the watchdog timeout limit to 2 hours and now the backup is created but it is incomplete as it hits the 2 hour mark and the same error message appears. I dont think a mws backup should take this long to run seeing as the db backup completes in far less time that this.So just wondering what would be considered a “reasonable time” and any suggestions to fix? Thanks
