Hi, IFSAPP 9 getting the following error when orders are auto reserved. I have checked all the warehouse bay tier bin and route order is not null. Does anyone know how to set up Export control to show a licence is not required of the Customer Address and End user countries are the same as the Supply Order country? I am trying to use the exclude flag in an export licence but when use Find and Connect it shows status as ‘Unconnected’ and ‘No match’ . Ideally we would like to show ‘Approved and ‘Not Required’ .Also if the excluded flag on the licence for both Customer and End user are set to exclude, it only appears to consider the customer one first. Does anyone know the logic of how IFS works if combining ‘exclude’ on more than one restriction tab?

We have a Customer Order that has been created off the back of a CRO and processed to a status of ‘Delivered’ – the CO includes the Customer Part that has been through a repair as well as two Non-Inventory Sales Parts for the repair itself.On Delivery there are no OESHIPNI transactions being created to account for the Cost of Sales of the Delivered Part which clearly show on the CO linesHowever, if I create a new CO just for one of the Non-Inventory Parts and Deliver it, I can see the OESHIPNI transactions being created as I’d expect. The only difference I can see between the 2 is the supply code being Service Order on the Customer Order line where no OESHIPNI transactions are being created and Invent Order on the Customer Order line where OESHIPNI transactions are being created. How are the Cost of Sales associated with the CRO accouted for? ThanksHayley Cairns

Hello, I would like to know if there would be a way to set up which routing alternate is to be automatically used in our Shop Orders without having to manipulate the Lot Size preferences in the Routing. For an example: adding a new routing Alternate that would be the “main one” before the “*” Alternate. If that would be possible, I wouldn't have to create a new Routing itself when I get a new machine. I could just add a new Alternate and create a Control Plan for that new Alternate. I appreciate any ideas or inputs on how to deal with this. Thanks!
Where can I find the definition of each Purchase Order Status?
Hi,Have a problem with a part using planning method B. We have demand (i.e. material reqs) with different due dates. When I run ‘Create Order Proposal’, only for the next demand a purch req is created, not for those later ones. In Apps 7 it was possible to enter a number in planning days so that future demand for i.e. the next 90 days was included. How can this be done in Apps 10?

When I go to General tab in shipment window, I observed that the Net weight and Gross weight are different in an abnormal way. Any solutions why the Net Weight and Gross Weights are different. Note: Usually Net weight and Gross weight should be same or Gross weight should be greater than Net Weight.
Can anyone tell me what the “operative value” of density (Tab Manufacturing in Inventory Part) is used for? I am aware of what the density of a material or liquid is. However, I have no clue why this value is relevant in an ERP system? Who needs the value for what purpose?

Good Afternoon, Is there a good way to find the annual qty issued for past years (2018, 2019, 2020, YTD) or does a report need to be built? I know there is the average issues per period but then i have to manually throw that report into excel to get the sum of each year. Going to be doing this for almost 2000 parts so would love an easier way if possible.
Hello Everyone,Today we currently have users create purchase requisitions, authorize through PO req rules, then create a purchase order from the requisition. We also have users directly create PO’s thus bypassing the authorization rules, not following the procedure. Therefore, is there a way in IFS to not allow PO creation other than by the Purchase Req. process? Thanks!Mark
We have an issue with the freight interface working with Fedex software. It will not scan to pop in an account number for the customer’s freight account. It keeps defaulting to sender rather than recipient if there is an account number on the freight info of the order. The logistics team is having to over ride the sender to recipient and add the freight account in manually.

Does anyone know how to clear old customer and supplier schedules from the table? We have added values in the Customer and Supplier Schedule Agreement Part record for ´Old Plans to keep´. In my test example I set the value to 50 but after running the MRP we have 273 record in the overview. I guess there need to be some kind of cleanup task that will clear old customer and supplier schedules but I cannot find any matching database task. Any ideas? Thank you.Josefin

How do you all use the “ship via” field on your customer and purchase orders? Generic or Actual Name of the Carrier?BackgroundWe’re implementing now and I cannot wrap my head around the implications of using the field with precise carrier information; rather, more generalized like “OTR” for Over The Road or “ITM” for Intermodal or “BW” for Best Way / etc.The business is leaning toward precision, but we don’t typically pick the method and it can (albeit seldom) change the day of customer pickup, for example… and we have over a 100 carriers / the list changes / defaults on the customer change, too.
