We have a requirement of Value added process handling on standard stock items such as applying patches, labels, badges, etc. 

From a manufacturing perspective, we may handle this as Configurations rules with shop orders or Repair shop orders. However, customers’ preference is to have it on the supply chain in relation to the packing process. Again handling until accessories or complement parts is also doubtful.

Please propose the best functionality in the cloud.  

There are many ways that we can handle barcodes and serviceability tags for both single handled parts and handling units while handling inventory inside the warehouse.

Packing and label printing at:

  • Registering the arrivals: ​​Register Arrival or Register Serial/Lot dialogs
  • Once put away is performed: Inventory Part in Stock or Handling Units in Stock list windows
  • At the time of shipment: Shipment Lines or Shipment Handling Unit Structure
