In some of the users, the Purchase Requisitions lines contains more than 100 lines is not populating in the PR Page- IFS Apps 10 IEE. Could you please throw some knowledge on this why this is happened ? Thanks & RegardsSaran

Hi All, Assume we have an intersite flow starting from the Purchase Order as this.Internal PO - P100126Internal CO - P10576External PO - P100127 There are two requirements.All changes (Price, Qty, Date, Cancellation) made to internal PO, should be replicated to the other 2 orders. Any changes cannot made to external PO and should not be moved to other orders.Is there any data setup available in the application that allow those two requirements? Thanks in advance.

Hi,I’m trying to create a scrap credit for parts from a supplier. Originally Our Customer scrapped the parts at their site and we gave them a credit note.Now we are generating a credit request from our supplier but the system seems to want the units in stock. Which obviously can’t happen.How do we get around this issue?

Hi….again!This issue relates directly to the post below…We have the Send Dispatch Advice Automatically set on for all our sites, for inter-company orders. Yet when the order is delivered, the Dispatch Advice Sent box remains saying No….screenshot below.. As mentioned, the slider is ticked on the site to send the advice automatically…. We can send the advice manually but find it a tad annoying that in our config environment this was working perfectly. Has anybody had anything similar occur??? Many thanks.

Hello,  When invoicing its foreign subsidiaries, our customer wants to use a different currency exchange rate in the sales order valuation and in the invoice.We haven't found out how to use one type of exchange rate in the sales order and another type of exchange rate for the invoice. If you can help... thank you very much!Isabelle

Hi All, I have a customer that is focussing more and more on his Supply Chain planning and looking at the IPAP details. Now they have parts that use Condition Codes (NEW/DAMAGED/REPAIRED). The repairs are done externally by their supplier and this is handled through the External Service orders. Now, the external repair process creates a CO to send the damaged parts to their supplier and a corresponding Po to receive the repaired parts back. In the IPAP we see these PO’s with repaired parts. Now comes the crux: the company has an internal decision that the repaired parts are only to be used in the Service Department, not in Production. So they actually don’t want to see the incoming Po’s of repaired items because this throws their supply chain for production a bit off.  So actually, they would like to exclude parts based on condition code from the IPAP overview. But i don’t see any possibilities on this in the standard IFS solut

Hi AllI am new here and new to IFS. We have a requirement where a customer might buy e.g. 18x PARTAWe actually stock PARTA in bags of 1, 5 and 10 for ease of picking/packing/handling.As far as the customer is concerned they are buying 18x PARTA, however in the background we know the most effective way of picking/packing these parts is 1x BAG OF 10, 1x BAG OF 5 and 3x BAG OF 1.We operate with price breaks, so 1-5 of PARTA would be £x, 6-10 would be £y and 11+ would be £z. Option 1In an ideal world we would just add 18x PARTA onto the customer order, and the stores would be told to pick/pack 1x BAG OF 10, 1x BAG OF 5 and 3x BAG OF 1.This means that the price break side of things works correctly. Option 2The other option would be that we add 1x BAG OF 10, 1x BAG OF 5 and 3x BAG OF 1. to the order, but then the price br

I need to change the Advanced Settings Parameter = Mode from 0 to 2. When changing the value I get the response that the value has changed on another server id. This other server is shutdown and disconnected. How should I approach this? 

Hi everyone, We are trying to ship parts with a customer ownership, but when we “Report Picking”, this error message appears.“The ownership info on the source location does not match the ownership info on the destination location”Does anyone know what that means ? We did the same thing as usual, and normally we don't get this message, and both location are company ownership, so i dont get it. Thanks for your help !

Hi everyone,I’m having an issue with copying an exiting customer order which has CO lines with tax.When price and discount option is ticked when copying CO , the tax amounts will not be fetched correctly in the newly created CO, but there can be seen a tax code in the CO line. Tax line is removed from customer order line tax lines.If price and discount option is not ticked , tax amounts are correctly fetched.  Can anyone help me to understand why this is happening? Regards,Kithmini

Hi, Is it possible to setup sales pricing based on combination of configuration characteristic.For example: If I have selected ofOption A in Regulator and option 1 in Pressure range, the price offset is $100 Option B in Regulator and option 1 in Pressure range, the price offset is $120  I tried using the Sale rule by manipulating the Characteristic quantity as 1.2 to get the calculated pricing as a work around. The issue is we have lot of such cases which needs this manipulation and updating for any changes in pricing is tricky and more time consuming. Any other thoughts or solutions. Thanks in Advance. Regards,Siva

Hi,In this flow I’m getting below error “Sender and Receiver must be in the same site when demand code is Purchase Receipt.”… when I’m to move a qty in arrival location to another location…It is not allowed to enter the same site as the receiver even the error message suggest - understandably there is no place to enter location ID (for a movement within the same site ).So, if I’m not missing something, my assumptions are…movements can only be done within the same site Only from an Arrival location (may be non Picking) to a location in a remote warehouse cannot do movements within sites belongs to same company cannot do movements within sites belongs to different companies - obviously since Shipment Order is not supported

Good afternoon, Background: I have created a Customer Order which has as Customer customer ABC, and as customer to pay the invoice, a different customer XYZ.Issue: Then, after I create the preliminary customer invoice, I cannot create post it as I encounter this error that Customer does not have a default Tax Book.Other details: The system uses Italian localization, but is fine configured, both customers have the default Tax Book defined, and in order to investigate, I have created 2 other customer orders, one for each of the customers, where the payer is the same customer code as in the customer order, and in such case I can create the final invoice. The Customer Order has a Free of Charge item, where only VAT has to be paid, but we need to create a final invoice that will go on the government portal for VAT purpose. Did anybody encountered this error before? Hi,Customer Owned parts are externally-owned stock that is supplied by a customer (or a supplier for the customer) with the intent that the material will be transformed (maintained, repaired, overhauled, or used as a component) and eventually returned to the customer (or supplier).However, when we try to create a customer order detail line for delivery purposes, it can't be saved if the field data Owner = "Customer Owned". If we remove the delivery confirmation (Unchecked confirm deliveries) we can create an order using customer-owned parts.Any thoughts on this behavior?  Regards,Nikila Dissanayake

Hi All,In Purchase Requisition, when a particular No Part Requisition line is in Partially Authorized status, the changes can be made. No error is triggered.But the same process is done for Part Requisition Lines, error has been triggered.(updated the Qty as an example) Would be much appreciated if someone could explain the two different behaviors when the line is in Partially Authorized status. (Our assumption is, when a line is in Partially authorized, the changes are not allowed regardless of the Part/No Part lines) Thanks in advance.

Hi Team, I would like to know is there any pricing functionality in IFS to support the specific customer pricing requirement where they have different prices based on the quantities range and when system fetch the price it should break down the total quantity and select the prices from different price ranges in which the quantity falls and aggregate the price. Is it necessary to connect an order charge to an order line, in order to get the charge included in the Intrastat report?According to documentation on the ‘Collect Intrastat Data’ page:Charges related to purchases and sales will be included only if the Intrastat Exempt check box has been cleared in the charge linesOur charges are usually not connected to a specific order line. They are generic header charges summarizing how many pallets and package material that was used on the order. And these charges are not automatically included on the Intrastat report, even though they are not Intrastat Exempt on the Sales Charge Type.It feels like it should be possible to include sales charges without connecting them to a specific order line. Hi, hoping that someone can explain the logic how parts are selected to be included in a part count. For example, we have a location that needs counting. It contains a mixture of parts (we are not really using ABC so that criteria is blank). We have excluded parts counted since 90 days. My understanding is that will exclude parts counted in the past 90 days, is that correct? Which calendar would it use for these “days”? We count the fully qty of part in location and have 60 records to be counted. I also understand that the “Next Count Date” (visible on Quantity per Location Details) is a primary filter for parts to be included, i.e. this count date has to be after this date to be considered for counting. My question is, if we have limited the count to 60 lines but there are 70 possible lines that meet the part count criteria, how does it select the 60 lines? What logic does IFS use to drop the parts that are not counted? From testing it appears to be selecting the part

I have a question about “Source Ref5” of “Inventory Transaction History”.What Screen can I check the original data of “Source Ref5” on? That is the info cited from IFS Help.Order Ref 5:The delivery number from the customer order delivery. Each customer order line can have several delivery numbers. Delivery number also refers as Del No. Each delivery number can, in turn, be delivered several times in different deliveries. This field represents these different deliveries.  

Hello IFS community, Does anyone know if it’s possible to connect a manually created shop order requisition to a project? 

I have created a job for the user base that is printing picking lists as IFS App, when the user runs picking lists manually there is no issue, but running as a scheduled process the print fails with the following error (we are running Apps 9)  -  Unable to get database connection. (Transaction BEA1-7CAF5733F485BAAA5AB5 not active anymore. tx status = Marked rollback.
