Hi All,Wondering if there are any idea how a customer could disable Condition Codes for Parts?I found that if I cycle count the on-hand balance to zero, I was then able to turn off “Lot Control”, but it still will not let me turn off “Condition Code” on the Inventory Part. Note: I also ran the “Clean-Up of Inventory” job, because I thought that was the problem, but that did not help. Any thoughts? Thank you,Alex
In Apps 9 GRNI Report shows both Positive Values (Receipts) and Negative values (returns/ Scrap). But in the 22R1, report only shows the Net value and even we return the total quantity after invoicing the receipt, the negative value no longer display in the report. So we are unable to track down the Credit amounts that needs to be received from the Customer. Also, this created variance between GRNI GL value and the report
Hi,Is there a simple way to copy across non-inventory purchase parts from one site to another? my query is that how we handle left over part in ifs, i have to send left over part into the inventory. The problem is that if we returned the whole part that will be not issue ,issue is for partial part, for example there is part which is 6 by 6 feet iron plate, the shop consumed only 1 by 1 sheet from that 6 by 6 sheet , the left of the part they have to returned to the store for further when it need ,if we unissued that part it unissued 6 by 6 plate but physically its 5 by 5
Hi All,A customer has inquired about the behavior of the package material parts when using the register arrival page. Please refer to the attached document for full details. Thanks,Sanjeewa
Safety stock: If I run MRP without selecting "Plan safety Stock Receipt considering MRP Run Date", MRP does not give me a purchase req. If I do select this option, I get a PR. What's the reason that not selecting that slider does not give me a PR, even though I’m dropping below safety stock in the future? Any ideas?
Dear IFS Community,I have a question regarding the ability to register time to shop order operations even after the shop order and the connected project have been closed. In our organization, we've encountered situations where our employees have accidentally recorded time to shop order operations, and we've noticed that the system allows this even if the shop order and the connected project is closed (i.e. project management project is in closed status and financial project is in completed status).I am curious to understand why system allows this and whether this intended functionality within IFS Applications, or is it a configuration setting that we are able to adjust? As a consequence, both the financial project, the project management project and the related activity need to be reopened to transfer the transactions to General Ledger- This results in unnecessary extra work for anyone performing the transfers.Another issue this creates is that time registration is prone to errors, as it
Hello All, I am facing an annoying thing in IFS Cloud… when I make a selection of items which I want to plan the following happens. If I go to the Supply and Demand section in the Master Schedule and make a change to a shop order and go back to the Master Schedule the item I just did moved to the top and I need to find the next item in the list. If you need to do that a few times that is not a problem, but more it gets really annoying. IFS, can something been done about that please??? Best RegardsCarlo
we need information (instruction / specification) how intrastat Poland works. We are specially intrested in calculating transport costs both in export and import. We tried to determine it ourselves nad also asked IFS Poland but we still do not know what the system works like in this area (which data and in which way are calculated)Product Version: UPD16Every month we do a lot of additional manual work to calculate transport costs for intrastat declarations
Dear All,How can I access information about who created the supplier in ifs10 enterprise explorer? I can access the 'created_date' information, but I cannot access information about which user created it.
Hi All,There is an issue I’m facing in IFS APP 10 environment regarding applying Availability control ID. When we set a value for ‘Default Part Availability bin value’ for the inventory location some of the inventory parts which are receiving to that location(Using move inventory part) are getting the Availability control ID, but some are not.As far as I know all the inventory parts which are receiving to that location need to be applied with the Availability control ID. Can anyone understand the reason for this kind of an issue. Thanks,Nadeeka
We can send emails from IFS Call Center, but the responses don’t load back into IFS, everything past the original email is in Outlook. Is there a way to get responses to emails sent from a Call Center case back into the case?
Consider the following scenario:Customer produces foil which is stored on roles (handling units), the qty is not a fixed given. So .e.g. there are 3 rolls on stock:HU 1: 1100 kg of foil HU 2: 1080 kg of foil HU 3: 980 kg of foil Total on stock is 3160 kg of foil A shipment order was planned op front for 3000 kg's of foil, when reserving the first 2 HU's are reserved in full and on HU 3 only 820 kg's is reserved. It is not allowed to break down HU's, it is expected that they will be shipped in full.Is there any way we can get passed this? Ideally we would like to make sure that for certain HU types we only allow them to be reserved and shipped in full, breaking down is not allowed.Does IFS Cloud currently hold functionality with which we can handle such a scenario.
Hello All,can anyone enlighten me about the lead times mentioned in the inventory part in the section Manufacturing? Example attached with the lead times. B'regardsCarlo Koenders
Hi,We often get this error message when moving inventory part, does IFS have some configurations to disable the check behind? We are using IFS9 now.Thanks.
Hi All,In my case, user creates customer order and when it release, application creates customer invoice automatically. The series id picks for the CO invoice base on invoice type in default. Before print the invoice does user has any change to change the invoice type? I have a requirement to have different invoice number sequence for special invoices. If we have chance to change the different invoice type, we can set unique sequence for that. But in application Invoice Type field shows as read-only. What option I have to fulfil this requirement? Is it possible to keep two series for customer invoices? Regards,MalinG
Hello together,we are using Apps10 and the menu “Inventory Part Availability Planning” actually gives a great overview of demands and supplies for specific inventory parts.Unfortunately, at least from my point of view, the supply is shown incorrectly. Here in my case IFS would consider a purchase requisition in status “planned” as a planned receipt into stock. The same would happen if I transform the PR into PO but don’t release it. Then status of part is released but PO is still planned. If I would use this information for a demand and supply planning and give it to our purchase manager, he would calculate with an entry of 10 parts in the near future. Which is wrong because we never sent out the PO. Is there any setting in IFS where only PO in status “released” are considered as a supply? Thanks and regards, Stefan
Invoice text that added at the preliminary stage of the customer invoice is not viewable once the invoice is printed. Invoice text can be added or edited only when the invoice is in Preliminary state. Once Printed, no invoice text can be added or edited. This is to make sure that nothing will change after printing the invoice. After printing the invoice, Invoice text only can be found at the bottom of the printed invoice as the ending text. This cannot be found in the application once printed. This is the intended behavior of the application.
I’ve just been posed a question to which I don’t have an answer. What happens to the master scheduling calculation if the inventory part is set to period part planning? Will it aggregate demand for the order cover time period s that code G does in MRP? Thanks!
Hello IFS Community! In this workflow we have a 4-Level Intersite PO:What we call “the Order Desk” (L1) The Product Line in USA (L2) The Product Line in Canada (L3) The manufacturing facility (L4)Going into the details as to why the PO matrix is structured that way would be going on a tangent, and to make this post as short as possible (is likely going to be long anyways as the problem is not easy to be described) I’m going to concentrate on our issue.Take this PO for example (where you can see the 4 levels stacked up nicely in the Supply Chain Customer Order Analysis screen)Our issue can be summed up like this: after releasing a L1 CO, IFS goes and automatically creates subsequent Level 2 CO and PO, Level 3 CO and PO and Level 4 CO and Shop Order (where the component really gets manufactured) for us. After that, eventually the work gets done, Shop Order is Closed, items are shipped to customer, the Level 4 CO Invoiced, etc, etc. So far so good. And then the problem looms: in one (and o
Hi,Apps10 UPD20 (though also in UPD16) - When a Customer Order Line is entered with Supply Code Internal Purchase Direct it does not have ‘Default Info’ ticked on the CO lines.Does anyone know if this is a) A bug that has been resolvedb)A setting that can be adjustedC)The accepted IFS logic (based on the LSD Trip of the engineer at the time)I’ve had a quick look on the community and can not see this has been asked before - nor can I see a setting. Many thanks, Matthew
HiOne of my customers has facing a problem related to the report running in IFS Cloud. There is a Inventory order report which cannot be run on IFS Cloud. Has this report changed or replaced by another similar report?
ISSUE/QUESTION: Unlike from usual debugging flow, there are several differences need to consider when performing WaDaCo debugging. Therefore, it is necessary to have the basic understanding when performing a wadaco related investigation.ENVIRONMENT: Wadaco Client AUDIENCE: Internal, PartnerRESOLUTION/ANSWER: High level differences are as below:WaDaCo flows session always starts from Data_Capture_Session.api methods and Data_Capture_Session_Line.api methods. Flow always initiates with a new session ID. Basic WaDaCo method calls are as below.Depending on the functionality, corresponding product code is later called once Data_Capture_Session methods are called. Every process has its own package.WaDaCo processes are included from a postscript as below. In-case if a customer is information the processes are missing, check whether below script is correctly deployed in the environments. POST scripts are harvested under corresponding component. (Examples as below)As per to configuration items,
Hi,My Logistic team would like some price displays with 3 (or more) digits after decimal point. We can input value with 5 decimal digits, and IFS manage it.But to control data, we have to open item one by one, it’s not confort. They manage gasoline price so it will be useful. Is there a way to manage displaying by page conception or by Contexte ?
