Hello everyone,
what's the purpose of "ID reference validation" (with possible values "None" and "Katakana" ) and "Identifier Reference" fields?
Is there some functionality behind them?
Many thanks for help.

Bump. Same question on this side. If I Google this I get that the characters should be according to Katakana or not.
IE $r&uu00@ with reference validation set to Katakana gives Identifier Reference is not valid.
IE 01589628 is valid.
Is this only for Japanese market?
Jakub,
It is a free form field that can be used as a reference to the entity since for some payment formats this field is used as a link to the customers Identity.
If it is ‘Katakana’ then the Identifier Reference must be a value setup in Basic Data but this is just used for the Japanese market.

Hi
I found some tooltip help from the App10. Placing here hoping at least it give some help.
Identifier Reference:
This is a reference to the supplier. A value in this field is optional. For some payment formats this field is used as a link to the suppliers Identity. The field can be validated according to a validation type, specified in Identifier Ref Validation.
ID Reference Validation:
Select an identifier reference validation type to validate the identifier reference value given in the Identifier Reference field. None is selected by default. If Katakana is selected then valid Katakana characters must be entered in the Identifier Reference field.

Piyal
