In App 10, the transaction end date and end time are incorrectly shown as 12:00:00 AM the next day. However, the chargeable transaction days are 2, so the ideal transaction end date should be 3/1/2024 at 11:59:59 PM.

In App 8, the transaction end date and time are correctly shown, which then tallies with the transaction chargeable days.

FYI – The Period Rounding column is set to “Daily Rounding” in both App 10 and App 8.

Is there a setting we can change in App 10 to make it display like App 8, or is this a bug?

Hi @VIMNLK ,

I hope you are using period rounding as 'Daily' here, ensuring correct functionality to consider the whole day even if the rental starts in the middle of the day.

In this scenario, I hope you started the rental on 2/29/2024 and ended on 3/2/2024. We calculate the chargeable days as 2 days because in the system, we take the beginning of the 29th of February (2/29/2024 12:00:00 AM) to the beginning of the 1st of March (3/1/2024 12:00:00 AM) as one day. Then the next day starts from the beginning of the 1st of March to the beginning of the 2nd of March. As the day ends at 11:59:59 PM, we consider the beginning of the next day to account for the whole day. This is the way apps 10 rental calculations have been designed.

I hope this clarifies the doubt.

Thank you,

Lumini.
