I am trying to create a Demand & Supply chain table (in terms of SO/PO). A is my top level demand (final product) and requires various other supplies to manufacture this, I am wanting to see all the supplies (multi level) that goes into that demand. Example below, A requires, B,C,D but B/C/D requires other supplies to have them manufacture, think of main assembly (A) and sub-assemblies (B,C,D) until it reaches to RAW MATERIAL level.Does any thing such already exists in IFS Cloud if not, any ideas how can I tie it together through data base? Demand Order Supply Order A B A C

Hi, We get this error in the mrp for one of our sites, error is recieved during the MRP snapshot summary :Error ORA-20110: DeliveryRoute.ROUTEDATEPICK: Retrieving next work day from 02-FEB-53 using route has failed. The date is outside the interval of the calendar XXX. occurred while running Snapshot_Summary for Contract XXX. We do not want to extend the calendar this far ahead and would like to find what is causing this issue. We suspect user error inputting some data but are not able to find what is causing it.Checked parts with extremely long leadtimes, Demand far ahead, Supply chain matrix settings, Transport leadtimesWe are running IFS Apps 10 Any tips would be greatful/Anna

Hi,I try to setup an internal trade between company A & B where company A (site 1) is the buyer and company B (site 1) is the seller.  I can create purchase from A and send it to B but in Incoming customer orders there is something missing. I´ve seen in the community that this is a common error message and I´ve tried everything that was suggested but it is not picking up the customer. In the picture below I added customer manually but still gets an error message.   Is there some sort of check list on setting up internal trade as there are quite a lot to tweek to make it work :) Thanks! /Emma

We have Shipment Types on our Customer Orders set to NR for “at order release”. However, when releasing the CO, it is not creating a shipment ID. It also does not allow for a manual one to be made. Any reasons why this is happening?

If you use Pacejet, what did you do to substitute for the UPS End of Day Report?  My understanding is that Pacejet does not have a similar End of Day report.

Hi,Has anyone used the ECCN identifier in IFS?  Currently there doesn’t seem to be a place for this in the Item Master or other supporting tables.  If you have, how did you work around this?   We need to have it appear on certain outbound documents.

We have a case where we have forwarded the PO authorization to a person with lower Max Amount for PO. This person to is able to authorize even having that lover limit.Is it so that, if the original Authorization Step is assigned to Person A, he forwards the authorization to Person B, and Person B tries to Authorize. Then IFS checks the amount against the step in the Routing Template? That means, it still checks against Person A’s max amount and allow person B to do Authorize. 

Recently we encountered a strange error for a non inventory part which we used for a long time. We don’t know what has been modified in IFS for it to give this error:The supply code remains empty after I enter the non inventory part even though in the basic data it is set to Primary Supplier Direct.

I have a Purchased Part with Inventory Valuation Method set to Weighted Average (WA). It is also a Sales Part and the Company is set to Delay Cost of Good Sold to Delivery Confirmation.There is an existing quantity for this part with WA let’s say equal to 100 unit cost. I have created a customer order, reserved then delivered it. This created an inventory transaction history DELCONF-OU and DELCONF-IN with unit cost of 100. Before I execute a delivery confirmation, I created a new Purchase Order and changed the price to something that would change the WA. Received it into stock. WA has changed to for example 150 unit cost.Executed the CO Delivery Confirmation and it created a transaction DELIVCONF with unit cost 150. If I look at the overall postings for the CO, it is causing my GL Balance to have a balance for account in M1 posting type. Is this correct? Has anyone encountered the same problem?

Hi All,How do we receive the outbound delivery confirmation from WMS now in IFS Cloud?In APPS10, we had been using WMSINT integrations for this functionality but since we won't be having this in the Cloud version, what are the alternatives in place?How do we receive info from WMS in Cloud?Do we have projections which can be used as replacements to achieve this? BR,Sumit K

Anyone have an idea on why this Int Purch Trans order isn’t flowing though completely? Both sites are setup as internal customers/suppliers. Other orders have flowed through these sites without issue. We’re currently on 24.2.6.  

We are working with EDI Orders and also intercompany MHS orders.In our customer settings, we have customer calendars, which are useful to enter Dates on which Customers will receive goods (as example, customer want to receive only on Monday goods, than the system will calculate the possible delivery date only on mondays.)It seems, that this function does not work, if the customer order is create from an EDI ORDER Message. Is that a bug, or depends it on the different way of order creation by EDI functionality? Same issue for Backorder Options, they will also ignored for EDI Orders.Is there any way to solve this problem?Thanks for your feedback.Andre

Hi Everyone, When some of our users try to load data from APB they are receiving an <HTML> error. Does anyone know what could be causing this? The are trying to load ~800 shop orders. We are using IFS Cloud 24R1. 

Hi All, Imagine the following data setup and scenario. Demand Site - Site ASupply Site - Site BInternal PO X is created on Site A and sent through to Site B where the internal CO Y is created and processed. The pegging is correctly shown. However, even before Y is delivered, PO X on Site A is available in Register Arrival on Site A and can be receipted while CO Y is in a status prior to Delivered. The expectation is that PO X should only be able to be receipted once CO Y is processed through to Delivered. Am I missing a setting here or does IFS have a different rationale behind this?  Thanks in advance!

IFS Cloud has the option to define the load sequence in the Consolidated shipment. The customer’s requirement is to set the sequence in such a way, that the goods which are delivered last to be loaded first.  Even though this is possible, I can see that the load sequence is missing on the “Load consolidated shipment” window. It is not available under “Handling Units to Load” or “Loaded Handling Units”. Further, even in the related WADACO Configuration it is missing and there’s no such related item to configure.  If the load sequence is added to the conso

Version used: IFS Apps 10 Update 9 I noticed that upon creation of a line in Customer Order, system fetches the cost of that part from inventory part in stock and stores in ‘Cost’ field at CO line. But, system doesn’t considers exchange rate if the currency in CO is different from the currency in which item’s cost is stored in inventory. E.g., If part cost in inventory is 100 BRL and customer order currency is USD, system is populating ‘Cost’ field at CO line with 100 value and does not apply exchange rate conversion. How to fix this ?#IFSRnD

Morning Experts, We must standardize some of our parts. So, in some cases, we have 1-1 (one part become another part), but we have cases of 2-1, 3-1 and event 4-1. Knowing the supersede function takes work just 1-1, here yy problems:How can we substitute the part? Is it possible to add history logging for sales parts in IFS10, could not find them at all from the list. Have need for these three new history log contigurations: Sales part/ Active ,Sales part/sourcing option,Supplier for purchase part / status

 I want to replace  alternative structure and routing that is, the alternative *  becomes in alternative 1 and alternative 1 becomes  alternative  *. For example:In the sitation 1 (S1), alternative * S1 = alternative *  S1 alternative 1 S1 = alternative 1 S1 In the sitation 2 (S2), alternative * S2 = alternative 1  S1 alternative 1 S2 = alternative *  S1I tried differents methods:Create a new revision and copy alternative 1 S1 like alternative *  S2 and alternative * S1 like alternative 1 S2 Create alternatives in revisión 1 and choose manually revisión 1 and alternaitve 1 when the shop order is creating.  Update masive the alternative of shop order.These methods are not valid for clients. Are there another methods

Is there any way to define a structure and routine other than * in an article?  An example:  The structure and routine of an article whose name is 1 is changed.  But when creating the OF, the system defaults to *. Is there any way to choose the alternative structure and path 1?Thank you.

We have set up the ORDERS message with the XML tag <MESSAGE_TYPE>QUOTATION</MESSAGE_TYPE>  but the order is still coming in as an order where do you amend this  so that it creates a quotation.   Thank you

Hello, we get this error on certain shipments and unsure how to decipher it. the quantites are then picked but the handling unit is dropped ( it remains in shipment inventory but no longer on that specific shipment). Any insightwill be appreciated.
