I want to rent out a non-inventory sales part.  The order is released and I’ve moved it to a Reserved status using quick order flow.  When I go to add an event, start event in my case, the lower section is blank.  Is there something special that must be done when renting a non-inventory sales part?  

Community, We are on APP10 UPD 9. We would like to have packaged parts to be supplied by internal supplier, on supplier code, we would like to make it “Intl Purchase Trans/Dir”, but system prompted error. it is not allowed to do this for package part.wondering how to make this happen. as we have to use package part this structure. 1 package structure contains 13 lines, and total order qty is 44 packaged parts, delivery in different dates. It is a nightmare if we don’t use package parts and do one by one on the customer order line.want to borrow your brain. Thank you.

Hi,In our current process, we reserve materials for our shop orders in the warehouse. Next step, we move those parts to the “pre-production” using transport tasks (warehouse task on WaDaCo). To do this, we go to the screen ‘inventory parts in stock reservations”, select everything for the same DOP and create the transport task. As we have have big structures with many phantoms, the same part pops up several times in our transport tasks. We now have situations where the operator needs to execute 10x a line, for the same part at the same location.I can’t figure out which setting to use to consolidate these lines. Can you create a shipment that is not connected to a customer order? And if so, how is this done (i.e. need to add shipment line, etc.)  - adhoc shipment  

Hi Community,I’m exploring a bit with the Kanban functionality and are currently having two Kanban Circuits for the same part number triggering PO’s to external suppliers. If possible I would like to have different delivery address (different drop of gates) on the PO depending on which circuit/location that triggered the PO. The locations are in different warehouses and if it would help I can schedule two jobs one for each circuit, by that I can have two different coordinators.I would appreciate any input.Thank you!BR Marcus

Customer Order *42846 is in a Delivered state (see Screenshot1 attached). We want to get this Customer Order to either be Invoiced, or to be Cancelled. When we try to Create Invoice (see Screenshot2 attached), we get the error that "The total discount given cannot exceed the invoice line price" (see Screenshot3 attached).The Customer Order originates from a Work Order - so it is not possible to change the Price or Discount on the Customer Order line itself (see Screenshot4 attached).It is also not possible to edit the Price or Discount within the Work Order (see Screenshot5 attached). Image 1Image 2Image 3Image 4Image 5 

I am trying to connect a sales contract to my Customer Order as a reference, but the Sales Contract I want is not appearing as an option to connect. The CO is in planned and the Sales Contract is Active, the project connected to it is attached, and it is all under the same Company/Customer. What may be the reasoning for why it is not available?  Sales ContractTrying to attach correct Sales Contract but it doesn’t appear as option

I have used Page Designer ‘Default Value’ to set the Tax Code value in the Purchase Order (part & non part tab list).Whilst this appears to be working - how can I configure IFS to do the same.I have tried changing settings in the Supplier - tax at address/invoice and Company - Tax control/purchase - largely based on another community thread. But I am finding I am having limited success with this approach - it’s likely due to a lack of knowledge on my part & not taking all the correct steps necessary - how can I find out the correct approach to achieve this functionality, please....Is there an IFS Cloud configuration guide book I can purchase?TIA 

Hi All,  I have a question about the change management in the supplier schedule. I create a Material requisition for a part, e.g. Part 01. The requisition’s have 3 lines  - Part 01 - 10 pc - Due date: 2025.03.10.  - Part 01 - 10 pc - Due date: 2025.03.11.  - Part 01 - 10 pc - Due date: 2025.03.12.I runned MRP for this part, which create the supplier schedule appropriate so I can release and send these lines to the PO. However when I change the amount (e.g. from 10 to 20) of the first line of the material requisition and run a new MRP it create a new supplier schedule which is very similar to the previous one, just create one more line with the needed 10 pc on !!2025.03.12!! due date, and when I release it and send to the PO, the planned receipt date is 2025.03.12. which is late because I set due date in the material requisition on 2025.03.10 for this line. How should I set up the system to create these lines with the correct date? Thank you for your answers!Roland​​​​​​​

Hello,We accidentally created a customer and need to delete the account. When trying to delete we are getting the following message:“The Customer Info "PHI-REPGSSNA-US" is used by 1 rows in another object (Credit Collection Info).” Wondering what screen we need to look at to remove this associated record? Any help is greatly appreciated.Thanks,Kyle

We have a requirement to raise an order with a supplier and pay for the full order in full. The finished stock will be held with the supplier and we need to then instruct them where to deliver amounts of stock to our customers as the customer orders come into us. Hi all,I’m working with IFS Cloud and trying to retrieve the Commodity Group 2 field from the Purchase Requisition Lines page. However, I can’t find it in Data Source Designer within the PURCHASE_REQ_LINE_ALL view. From the Debug Console, I see the following details: • LU Name: PurchaseReqLine• Projection: PurchaseRequisitionLinesHandling• Entity Set: PurchaseReqLineSet• Entity: PurchaseReqLine• View: PURCHASE_REQ_LINE_ALL• Component: PURCH I’ve checked the columns in the PURCHASE_REQ_LINE_ALL view, but I don’t see Commodity Group 2 listed. Is it possible that this field is stored in another table or fetched dynamically through another projection? If it’s in a different table, would anyone know the correct join conditions or an alternative where query to access it?Or is this field perhaps derived from a different entity that I should be using? Any advice on where to find this field or how to retrieve the relevant commodity group or codes would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

When trying to recalculate Price/Currency it works fine within the custom order then selecting the line and RMB recalculate Price/Currencybut when i try to do this from the customer order line view it errors.on investigation i have found that there are 2 Currency columns in the customer order lines viewWhen i look at the system info one sql column is CODE_G  the other column: when i query  customer order line in SQL i get the following resultsselect co.code_G,co.CURRENCY_CODEfrom ifsapp.CUSTOMER_ORDER_JOIN cowhere order_no = '12345678'Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you resolve please

Hello, New to Cloud from Apps 09. Currently in Apps 09 when creating a new Customer schedule agreement part - you need to add in the Customer order number into this field, which we create by zooming to an additional page to create the customer order.  In Cloud when creating a new Customer schedule agreement Part there is no option for a Zoom/Detail button to be able to take you to the customer order page. Can anyone advise if this is possible? Can’t seem to see anything in Page Designer.  Thank You in advance 

how do delete/reverse a Supplier Request after it is converted to a Supplier?

Dear community,when customer order lines are entered, the customer looks to supply the items by analyzing availability at all the company's sites, but also at other companies in the group, in order to respect the customer's wanted delivery date in the 1st place (whatever the source), and the 2nd criterion is distance.Have you dealt with this type of case?We haven't succeeded in using the sourcing rules.Have you used this method or another, with what parameters?Combined with Source Order Lines manually/automatically? Any help or documentation on these subjects would be most welcome!ThanksRegards,Isabelle

Hello community! first question here.IFSAPP10 upd 10Is there any way to restrict the “Issue” option in a material requisition?I modified the permission sets to disallow manual consumption but the image option still appears.It is allowed for the user to reserve the material but not the consumption as it depends on another part of the company. Hello,I have configured the putaway feature and I am able to generate transport tasks using the “Refill All Putway Zones” function but when I attempt to use the “Receive Into Arrival, Perform Putaway” at time of register arrivals I get this message “No putaway location could be found for 1000 ea of Part 70-050598-00, Revision 2 currently stored at Location 3045". Is there another configuration that needs to be done for receiving? how IFS Cloud handles Customer Orders (CO) linked to External Projects? In Apps 10, the system allowed pre-posting without needing a Project Activity, but in IFS Cloud, it now enforces that an External Project must have a Project Activity before allowing pre-posting? Thank you.

We have one site that receives and manufactures on Monday - Thursday, but we ship Monday - Friday. We had to set the Manufacturing Calendar M - F so we could get Need Dates on Friday (all work center calendars M - Th). We tried setting the site distribution calendar M - Th and set a delivery route on all customers for M - F but that didn’t work. All of our suppliers/customers are shared among multiple sites and our other sites do receive on Friday. Not sure if this is something for supply chain matrix for site, but looks like you have to do all suppliers and supplier addresses individually with other mandatory fields like lead times we don’t care to set there. Any ideas would be super helpful.

Hello, just in the process of testing the RMA function and can’t seem to see an option to return to stock (which is what physically happens), have I not set something up in the background correctly? I’m logged in as IFSAPP so shouldn’t be a permission issue. Please see screen shot below. 

Hello,We have an external system for purchasing some consumables thats delivered by our supplier.This is user friendly and appreciated by our users.But of course because it’s external we do not have purchase orders in IFS as we would like to have for better spend analysis etc..and also to be able to match the invoice that arrives from the supplier.We are thinking about an integration that creates the purchase order based on what our supplier buys in the external tool.  What technology in IFS should you use to manage that?  In this case punch out is not an option for us.  Thanks for advance, any input is appreciated.// Johan

When using Purchase Order Change Orders, all changes needs to be registered on the Change Order and it is not allowed to register changes directly on the Purchase Order."Does anyone have an idea of what could be the reason for this?  Thank You!
