Dear all, If a person got a person calendar exception assigned for a dedicated time period, it is not possible to schedule a task for that time horizon → error/warning message:Using the “Is available” checkbox in the person calendar exception gives the possibility to schedule a task nevertheless.I was expecting to configure this behavior via app params or via business rules. Meaning that we can decide that even without the checkbox “is available” we could  schedule tasks. But this seems not to be possible via simple baseline settings.Question:Is this a standard baseline behavior that only via “is available” checkbox in the exception tasks can be scheduled for that time period or am I mistaken and this can be configured in app params or via a business rule (or somewhere else)?

One of the customer has raised following.“It has been observed that some of the PSO IO servers over utilized and some are under utilized. This is causing application performance and memory requirement issue on over utilized servers. It was also observed that how dataset distribution are setup as some server processing 11 datasets some are 0.” The requirement is to verify and provide a solution to fine tune so that utilization of servers should be uniform 

Hi, On a request we have a part need (For the part : we flag: “part to product” “Asset) .We shipped the part (for example  from a warehouse to a VAN tech)When we (the tech)  declare the part as used in mobility, we also want that the part is considered as installed in the customer site. That is to say  when we go on the Place transaction we want to see the (part) Product installed. For this scenario : what are the settings ?we thought that the flags (For the part : we flag: “part to product” “Asset)  on the part transaction will allow the “release” of the part in product, but it’s not the case. what settings or steps are lacking ?Thanks for your help and regards

We use Traces to find various issues on Mobile Work Order Apps. Essentially, what enabling Traces does is it logs every type of call (Database Calls, Application Code, Call Sequence, Stub Arguments) from Client to Server to see what happens Under the hood and Find solutions to the issue. Using traces, we can Track calls & actions from Client to Server (Backend). Enable TracesTo enable Traces, We need to select a user affected by a particular issue. On “IFS Enterprise Explorer,” please go to the “Explore Mobile User” window and Right Click on the user. Then select “Show Details.”Next, On the “Installed Apps/Devices” Tab, select the relevant device and Right Click on the Record. Then go to “Edit App/Device Settings…”

When I add a new user to Access Template/Document Class, the new user gets access to documents created after access is given.Is there a way that I can give the new user access to old documents as well?

Hi, Im creating a lobby with all the relevant information regarding a supplier. This lobby will be used when having supplier meetings to show the current status and overview. There is no problem creating counters, KPI and everything with numbers and have it sorted by the supplier. But when it comes to all the other data that is text-values in different columns, how do I present them the best? I would like to be able to show them in a list element like this:Information             ValueSupplier No              12345Name                         Supplier nameDel terms                  FCATransp days             5etc…I can transpose it like that in PL/SQL query using unpivot. But I cannot get this result table into a lobby data source. Is there any function that can get it into the lobby?(i know how to create a quick report or a normal list element with al

As per default all sales lines in the work order is invoicable. There is no setting that makes all the lines default NOT invoicable? 

Hi I need to capture user login to apply some rules. I have tried below conditions but it is not getting triggered when user login.Process details:Type is XMLExecution point is “After Commit Update”Execution type is “All Rules All Value Match” Why it is not getting triggered? is there any other way to capture it?

How can we find the macro codes that IFS provides as templates, which are used to send data from IFS to MS office (Excel and Word) programs?

We are testing the installation of UPD10 (went from UPD8 to UPD10).  In UPD8 we were able to see and run Quick Reports in the Aurena view ‘Order Reports’. After installing UPD10 they are no longer listed.  I tried creating a Permission Set, granting access to the Quick Report Object in EE and also granting Report Access to the same Permission Set in Aurena but still no Quick Report is listed.  I searched through the Technical Documentation and did not find anything.  Has anyone run across this issue in UPD10?

I’m hoping I’m missing some easy, obvious option here. I did not find the details in F1.In Apps10, UPD9, how do I cancel a Work Assignment from IEE when it is transferred to mobile and in ‘Work Started’. In Apps8, we are able to go to Transferred to Mobile, rmb, and ‘Unassign Work Order’.I see the rmb option in Apps10 to ‘Cancel Work Assignment’ but it is grayed out when the Assignment is in Work Started status. I’m not sure in what status this feature becomes unavailable, but  it seems to be so for at least Work Started. I am curious, is that also the case for Accepted?Also, looking for a way to manually advance the Work Assignment should the need arise. In Apps8, we are currently able to adjust the status from IEE and it keeps the id of the individual making the change neatly stored in the Journal. 

Is iOS 14.5 compatible with FSM6u10?  The install guide says “Any device that can run iOS 10 through iOS 14 (including iPadOS) is Supported.”

Upon DELETE of a Functional Object - is there a notation in the tables to indicate who deleted it?    Apart from History Logging, are there other ways to determine who may have deleted a functional or serial object in the Equipment_Object_Tab?

Hi, There are two options to search “Responsible Person“ in Document Revision. One seems to be only enabled Caps lock while other is not. Is there any specific reason for this or can it be a bug. We have a support case reported some questionable scenarios related to these options & expecting to get verify the background.Thanks

Hi, BackgroundTraditionally we have used PSO to get a list of appointment offers via ABE for a resource to be allocated to a task. The user, or customer online will select a single appointment offer. Nice and easy. QuestionIs it possible, or does anyone else out there allow multiple appointment offers to be accepted.Example being:The customer, or agent would select all the appointment offers they would be happy with, and this information is passed to the DSE. The idea being is that is would look to schedule (in this example) for Tuesday 27th as the soonest. But if anything was to happen, or tasks were to be created with a greater value, the DSE would know that it could move the task from the 27th to the 29th AM time slot as an example. 

In App10 enterprise explorer, we can select multiple documents in Document Revisions window and email the files. We could not find this option in IFS Cloud. Is this no longer possible? 

Hi there,  How could I delete duplicate work orders from our system? I seem to be trying everything but I’m having no luck. If I try to delete the W/O I get this message,  Parts are not the issue as these can be manually adjusted. How would we delete these work orders and not have them show in the system?
