The issue faced by users is that they have to save after every part # entered on the customer order. This is time-consuming and  is very inefficient from users perspective.

Do anybody know the most efficient way to do this without clicking on save button for every part # entered to the Customer Order?

Thanks

Hi @meshfemi

Are you trying to create new customer order lines or trying to copy order lines from an already existing order?

When you manually create new order lines, you have to save each order line before you go to the next one. However, if you already have a similar order, you could simply copy the order lines to the new order and adjust the quantities and other attributes as you want.

Thanks,

There’s also the option of copying the whole order. This is similar to the duplicate option but here you can copy the header and order lines altogether.

Hope this helps.

 Hi @meshfemi ,

If users find inconvenience in adding new lines to the existing Customer order header, I’m sorry this is the current behavior. Further, This will be the same in Aurena client also. If you are using Copy order header RMB also, I believe you can not copy to the existing order header.

If you wish the system to automatically save the lines added manually for the existing customer order header, you will have to go for Modification. In that instance also, you will have to decide, at what point saving should be executed ( When price and Quality added etc )
