Service (Touch Apps, MWO, MRO)

Hi,I have 1 MWO user that cannot get tasks to appear on the Windows Client.I have deleted the devise and forced a resync.Permissions are fine and she can sign in without issue.She can see eforms but no tasks.I have setup tracing to see if there are any errors, but there are none.All logs that I can think of have no errors related to this user.I can see the tasks in PSO but not in MWO.Any thoughts on what I can try next?Thanks,Rob

Hi :)Is there a transaction where we can see all journal inputs from all work orders, alltogether?So far I have only found Journal under each Work Order. And the amount of WO is way too large for going through all one-by-one.Regards

We are currently on Apps10 UPD14. For customer depot repairs - we use CRO with work orders.  We have a new scenario where we receive the product to repair in site 1and start the work there, then have to move the product to site 2 to complete the repair.We’ve always restricted our repair process to a single site.  Is it possible to have a work order cross multiple sites, and move product between those sites as part of the process?

Hi,We have an issue when setting up our GIS-integration with ESRI ArcGIS. All firewall and ports are open between IFS App server and our ESRI server.Somehow our layers still don’t load as expected when accessing our GIS-map.That leads us to suspect that some extra config is necessary, probably on our ESRI ArcGIS-server.Anyone got documentation descriping technical setup?Best RegardsAnders

Hi All, I have created a Work Task on Service Quotation in IFS Cloud and looking to edit the Planned Hours for the resources. However the planned hours are retrieved based on the duration of the work task.  Is there a way for the resources to have different planned hours for the work task on service quotation?  

Hi Everyone.We’re about to upgrade from IFSAPPS10 to IFS Cloud and I’m looking forward for this functionality ASAP. I created this topic below 2 years ago using the Aurena apps and I hope we may have now in IFS Cloud.  @Bandula , please give me good news about it, have you guys already implemented it or is there another way like custom page option to use it? The buttons inside the work task step to navegate from one to another. example from the mWorkOrder apps. Dear community, in IFS10 this could be set at Resource Detail level, but for IFS Cloud I cannot find it. Do you know where the equivalent of this setting in IFS10 can be found in IFS Cloud?Regards, Roel

Hi Experts, We have a customer requirement where we need to know whether we can integrate between MWO and GISFor a scenario such as thisOutboundIf I am a Field Technician.  Can I from MWO, open GIS ( maybe a webpage) with a parameter (either Asset ID or current location)?InboundThen select an Asset in GIS, to raise a new Service Request in MWO or else pass the information back to an eForm in MWO? Really appriciate your help on this. Regards,Heshala.

A request has come in from one of our users, asking if it is possible to add conditional formatting on the MWO Service App ‘My Work’ screen. We have ‘Critical’ and ‘Non Critical’ work sent to our engineers and they are wanting Critical Work to be highlighted so they can see it clearly. Thanks, 

Hi I’m working with the employee survey in Apps 10, and want a question where it’s possible to add a remark and to choose between the following answers: YES, NO and N/A.This lead me to a Multi-choice question, but this type doesn’t allow remarks. Or what?My alternative is a YES/NO question and use the optional function, so you can skip the question in case of N/A, but optional is not working with YES/NO question. Hello, when trying to accept a work assignment in MWO, this message appeared, saying that the shift has not been started.Even though it’s no problem in starting the shift and continuing with the work task, I do not understand why this message appeared. For this user there are no shifts defined. Is there a possibility to see in Cloud the shifts (and I haven’t found it yet) or is this related to some kind of synchronization?Thank you very much.

Hello,I’m trying to enable Push Notification option in Windows environment (laptop) for mWO Service. I do not see an option to enable Notification within the windows app settings. Hello,I need some help to understand which delivery addresses are taken by default on a BT generated by a MP action.  the address of my focal object should have gone back down to the BT task, shouldn't it? Here's the address of my functional object linked to my BT from the MP action -on the other hand, this address appears in the BT header  If we start from a service request, we find the address on the BT header and on the BT operation. I don't understand, I must be missing a parameter setting. Thanks for your help

Hello, We use our surveys to close out information about changes to equipment in the field.  The information collected from the technicians gets sent to another system that is used as the system of record.  Many of the fields in the database of the system of record have field length limitations which will fail to update when a response from the tech is longer than the allowed length.  Using masking to limit the field is an option however, the Mask is displayed in MWO as part of the question and also updates the field input with the mask info, so using this isn’t very attractive.2 questions:Is there any way to limit the response length that the technician can enter into the survey answer in MWO When  using masking for survey question/answers is there any way to hide the masking hint (%%%%%%%%%%%) that displays in the question and the response field in MWO for the technician.Thanks,
