Question

MWO Tasks not appearing

Hi,

I have 1 MWO user that cannot get tasks to appear on the Windows Client.

I have deleted the devise and forced a resync.

Permissions are fine and she can sign in without issue.

She can see eforms but no tasks.

I have setup tracing to see if there are any errors, but there are none.

All logs that I can think of have no errors related to this user.

I can see the tasks in PSO but not in MWO.

Any thoughts on what I can try next?

Thanks,

Rob

Can you see the Work Task in Transferred Tasks/Work Assignments?

If so what details can you see in the Work Order Journal in the web client? Does it show as Sent and Downloaded?

Cheers

James

Hi James,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I can see the task in PSO, but when I check Transferred Tasks/Work Assignments, it’s not listed.

Okay so until its Transferred to Mobile it won’t show in MWO.

What’s the status of the Task in PSO?

They are ‘released’.

Can you think of a reason that would prevent a task from downloading to her device?

In logs I see this message related to the user:

Set to disable as JWERRETT 23.1 has been activated in the same device by JWERRETT

A Work Assignment needs to be allocated to the user and have been transferred to mobile either manually or automatically.

You can read about status handling here:

About Status Handling on Work Tasks

And about Mobile Work Order, including the Transfer process here:

Introduction to IFS Service MWO and IFS Maintenance MWO

Cheers

James

In the end, we had to create a brand new account for her since we could not get the original to work.
