We are currently on Apps10 UPD14.

For customer depot repairs - we use CRO with work orders.  We have a new scenario where we receive the product to repair in site 1and start the work there, then have to move the product to site 2 to complete the repair.

We’ve always restricted our repair process to a single site.  Is it possible to have a work order cross multiple sites, and move product between those sites as part of the process?

Hi, do you have answers for your questions?

We have the same request here.

Thank you.

@ronhu - no.  Looks like this functionality is in the plan for IFS Cloud (if it’s not already there) but not in Apps10

Work Order belongs to the WO Site and it is not possible to use multiple values. Therefore AFAIK there is no out-of-box solution.

Interested in knowing the reason for moving the object, is it because of the availability of Resources or Materials or Tools in the next site?

Our scenario is around repairs of customer assets.  Initial receipt and product evaluation is done where the customer ships - which is generally our office that is closest to the customer.  We have multiple repair centers with different capabilities / equipment.  Once the evaluation is complete, we need to transfer the product to the location that handles the type of repair required.

@jhooperyan Thank you for your reply.

@Buddhika Kurera We have products manufactured in Canada, then ship to our sister company Germany for installation. Any defect products will ship back to Canada again for the repair. Hence, we would like the repair work order can be a demand source to trigger the distribution order to move the customer owned products from Germany back to Canada.

We are in APP10.

Thank you.
