Hi All, Can you please help me to clarify the below issues, if possible. Thanks in advance. Is unbundling of replication message bundle standard in IFS10? Can Oracle WebLogic handle incoming messages in onshore (thus avoiding to use separate Oracle Services to handle incoming messages from each Rig)?. Note - Using multiple Oracle services to handle incoming messages from each Rig reduces the overall Oracle DB performance   Thanks, Roshan

Can someone help me understand the following with respect to IFS Apps 10 in regards to Replication: Is unbundling of replication message bundle provided as a standard feature in IFS10? Understand that using multiple Oracle services to handle incoming messages from each Rig reduces the overall Oracle DB performance

We have a substitution map for @place.email_address the notifications are not going through unfortunately. the rule works as the user that is listed on BCC is getting the emails. The BCC is listed as an actual email address with no map needed. its only when using this map does it not work   we do have other maps that work just fine but it seems to be this one that doesn't Here is the substitution map. Here are the code table here is the result from the notification log. you can see the TO is missing

Am a little new to IFS, but want to avoid giving users error messages due to layout changes or any other issues that am yet unaware of. So question is, can i publish custom fields whilst people are using them? Its referenced fields for the customer 360 screen. Does anyone have any best practice tips for making custom changes on-the-fly. In my past experience in other similar role, i would normally wait until outside of hours to update live.

We recently began utilizing IFS from a manufacturing stand point.  We have run into our first scenario where a customer is providing a Sub Component for the Shop Order to be included.  Does anyone have a good process for this?     Thank You

Hi all, I have a key_ref: KEY_REF:= ‘BOM_TYPE_DB=M^CONTRACT=1^PART_NO=15000^ROUTING_REVISION=2^’ I would like to replace some of the values. E.g. ROUTING_REVISION=3 I was expecting to be able to do this: client_sys.Set_Key_Reference(KEY_REF, 'ROUTING_REVISION','3'); but the function does not exists.   What is the easiest way doing this?

Thank you for looking. If possible what would be the best way to do this. Kind Regards   John

I see in the ifs documentation that it is possible to do a drop down in the lobby parameter drop down like this: How can I get this done?  I haven’t been able to find any information on this.

In apps 10 can you turn off the requirement for a Project to have a stated delivery address when linked to a Purchase order? Currently when a PO is linked to a project, the PO displays and error which can only be resolved by entering a delivery address into the project. T seems the PO delivery address does not suffice. Can this mandatory requirement be disconnected?

I have this problem with implementing a business case. The case I have is as follows. In task_steps I have filled in a quantity (lets call it x) in user_def_num1 for step_id =66 This task_steps record with a quantity needs to be processed by the business rules and add a non_part_usage record.  My business rule needs to output the quantity if it is higher then 25 and then create the non_part_usage record with a quantity of x - 25.  I am trying to do this with an XML business rule, but I am aware that I need to use some expression. I only do not know how to do that. This is my code which needs to insert the record. As you can see I fetch the quantity with an xpath_node from an hierarchy_select result called ‘result01’. Without the expression stuff it gives me the quantity, but I need to subtract 25 from this value. <update_non_part_usage> <non_part_usage> <request_id>@request_id</request_id> <task_id>@task_id</task_id> <npu_id></npu_id> &lt

Is it possible to open up the Call Center New Case Assistant from a Business Activity?  Possibly through a RMB event?  I know I can transfer to a case, but since the Assistant is a Pop up Window, I don’t know if it is possible.  If I can, is there a way to capture that Case Number on the Activity?

I am trying to add a Valid To customer Field in Sales Price List. The standard field ‘Valid From’ and customer field ‘Valid to’ will be used to validate a sales price list. If the validity is expired or invalid the event will trigger on sales quotation line and prompt an error that the sales price list is not valid.  I have successfully created the custom field.  The event works on LU which is selected , in this case it will be Sales Quotation but the question is how will i compare ‘Valid from and Valid to’ from sales price list and prompt an error.

How can i add a default value for the Custom Field. I have created a custom field (type DATE) and i can see there is a default value column in this custom field details, how do i add a default value to it. Help would be appreciated.
