we will have refrigentant bottles on stores and that's enforce us to have warehouses per some stores at the system. Because of that, technicians should have feasibility to consume refrigerant from these store warehouses. Could you please check feasibility to consume material in mobile application from different warehouse than default?

I was asked these below questions with regard to the upgrade. Any comments please? Can Apps 10 provide a public facing webserver to be accessible via Azure WAF’s (Web Application Firewall)? Is there an option to load balance across 2 to lose single point of failure? The intention is to use hybrid EE and Aurena, does this affect the ability to use the aforementioned Public facing Webserver Is there support for Windows Server 2022 in the pipeline? If so when? Oracle ASFU- we have Advanced Dataguard so will it cover licensing against Oracle19c?

Hello, We are running IFS Application 10 Update 8 and an upcoming change to our manufacturing environment is going to require two shop order operations to be started simultaneously.  For example lets say we have the following operations defined.10 - Charging15 - Pumping20 - Circulation When the operator starts operation 10 we’d like IFS to also start operation 15 as well.   We know we can have the operator manually start operation 10 and 15 manually but we are trying to eliminate a point of failure and automate this functionality. Regards,William Klotz

Hi All, Where do you add layered overhead cost buckets when you want to connect parts to part costs under IFS Aurena cloud solution? Best regards,Devni

We recently upgraded from IFS8 to IFS10 and have a report that the Receipt History tab of the Receipt screen did not capture a location change, previously logged as a ‘Moved [qty] [uom] from location [old location] to [new location]’.Can I configure IFS10 to capture Moves?UPDATE: Never mind. I’m finding it does log it and now trying to understand why it didn’t log it in this case.

In IFS Cloud, in Freight Map, I am trying to enter zip codes by Zone ID (see picture here under). The Freight Zone details list does not allow me to enter the “From” or the “To” fields. Any suggestions? Many thanks, Michel.

How to change the Address Presentation, especially the Zip Code which is required to be Post Code,  we have an Address Template set for the UK, but this still displays ZIP CODE.

Hi !I understand we can define group of users to more efficiently manage permission sets. However, I searched everywhere, I do not understand how to define permission sets for a user group.  Let say, I have a profile called Project Manager.I want all my project manager to have at least the permission sets:PS_01, PS_05, PS_25 & PS_32I thought i could attach these 4 permission sets to this user group, and when i put a user in this group he will inherit these 4 permission sets.Is it working this way? Thanks.

Hi all, when we navigate to a shop order and search for a certain order >> RMB >> print pick list and pick the relevant print options (include unconnected material, list by shop order, list by location and include part summary and say ok and select the preview option, there is no data retrieved on the report. Only the first information page comes up an inbuilt report. In report designer, I can see that there is a repeat page with data. Could I know why data isn’t retrieved when it comes to printing the pick list in these instances?

Hi, one of our customers is having the above issue when the following test plan is followed. Is there any rectification from RnD for this?1. Go to Assembly and Disassembly product structure for an existing top position part (GE/00-00-00)2. Now the focus is to create a mismatch in the line item numbers in between Assembly Side and Disassembly side for the same part.3. Add a random inventory part with different line item numbers on each side. (E.g: Part LINEITEM5 with line item 100 in Disassembly side and 200 in Assembly side)4. Now add a new part (LINEITEM4) as a new structure position in serial structure template and enable auto transfer to manufacturing.5. Position parts will be added in the product structure with different line items in-between Assembly and Disassembly sides.6. Include these position parts in maintenance level structure of GE/00-00-00 (Maintenance level: LINEITEM)7. Now create an MRO flow, set the maintenance level in Disposition Work Scope, Release the MRO interim o

Hi All,We’re using IFS Apps 8 and want to change the ownership to ‘Company Owned’ from ‘Customer Owned’ for the Inventory Part: G-004614.As per our investigation, one can change/changes the ownership only if On hand qty is not equal to zero and if the Purchase was made incorrectly at the PO line or while issuing the parts in WO or Internal Demand orders viz. Material Requisition, MMR.This is a Serial Tracked Part and we’ve tried to change the Ownership at Part serial record screen.Attaching the reference document, any suggestions on the above step or approach will be much needful. Regards,Venkatesh Iyer

Hi Everyone , i have a custom field in aurena, that field has a Reference for another field , that reference works like a LOV, and i need add a Where Clause for This LOV, i stay in this configuration but doesnt work, if somebody knows if i skip a step or doing something wrong please help me

“Note Text” field update and save causes query changes on screen view. This results in having to run the query after each save when making ‘Note Text’ updates to orders. We are currently running in Apps10.Are any other users experiencing this same difficulty, or is there a way to control the data that is being pulled after selecting save?Below are the usual steps taken.Search criteria is entered to filter down to Order, Release and Sequence No. from Shop Orders Material Planning screen (this typically includes a series of orders) ‘Note Text’ column is updated on the data lines Once saved, the data refreshes to only show the last Order number that was entered in the original queryBe advised that this is happening when one or more release or sequence exists for the same order number. Thanks in advance!

Hello Community, I have been reading several other topics about the same question I have. I was able to create the Application Server Task (Screenshot 1) and schedule the Database Task (Screenshot 2),When the database task runs the background job the result is positive => Status =(Ready)(Screenshot 3).However, the status for the Application Server Task is (Waiting) Screenshot4- and I do not receive the email.I was wondering if anybody from the community could direct me to the right path to fix the issue. My goal is send the quick report via email. Could you please insert screenshots with your answer? We are currently using IFS 9.  Screenshot 1- Screenshot 2- Screenshot 3-Screenshot 4-

Hello, I need your help with something. I learned how to add custom fields to aurena screens. But I have a different problem.I did not understand the logic of the "For Persistent Reference Custom Attributes" part in the document below. When should we use this option? Is there a different document for "For Persistent Reference Custom Attributes"? https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/045_administration_aurena/220_Configuration/200_client_configurations/150_attribute_configurations/default.htm

Hello:We deployed a REST based IFS web service and when we test an app against the web server we are getting CORS errors. I can run Chrome --disable-web-security to get around it in testing but we need our users to use it on their browsers.CORS-Cross Origin Resource Sharing.

Do we have any method to change the default scheduling direction of shop orders from backward scheduling to forward scheduling?

Hi i currently work for a build-to-order manufacturing company that releases manufacturing shop order early in order to keep under utilised work centres business and resources busy, but do not process the whole routing which results large numbers of shop order remaining open in WIP.This does not seem to me as the right course of action and it negatively effects our internal KPI for manufacturing shops order closed within plan routing time.Does having large numbers of shop orders unfinished in WIP have any negative effects on the system regarding MRP and scheduling?regardsJamie

Are there situations where an external file load should not be used?  I have created/tested one to load a Closed Date on the Purchasing Into tab on a Receipt in our test environment.  It appears to work fine, rather than typing that date in manually, and has the desired effect of clearing the ‘leftover’ quantity received from the RNI report. Is there any reason why we shouldn’t use an external file load for this purpose:
